"I’ve been to Queenswood quite a few times now and always enjoy the food. However, having raved about it to my guests (who were having their first time there), there were a couple of things that let the evening down. The mains were delicious but when we ordered our desserts, the waitress informed us that the apple crumble dessert came with Earl Grey sauce that didn’t sound right so we questioned it and she corrected herself and said that it was infused with Earl Grey. However, we had already been put off by the thought of Earl Grey sauce. We went on to order the pineapple carpaccio with black coconut ice cream. However, when it arrived, there wasn’t any black coconut ice cream. The waitress went back to the kitchen to find out what had happened and informed us that the delivery had not been made. We should have been told this when we ordered. Finally, one of the party ordered green tea, but what she was served was not plain green tea, it had ginger and possibly other additions to it. Luckily, my friend can tolerate ginger. These are only minor issues, but I do think that the very least a restaurant can do is to make sure people get exactly what they order and, if there is any variation, it needs to be explained before the dish/drink is actually served so that they have a chance to decline."

"I booked this restaurant for my mum's birthday. They set our table in the requested sofa area and we got a cosy corner which had been decorated with some small trinkets. My mum likes this restaurant so that's why we booked it. My sister and her bf live in Dalston which is known for Turkish restaurants shoulder to shoulder, they were pleasantly surprised and loved the food. I have been here before with my mum and I think they took extra care cooking the meats this time as all were perfectly cooked.. The fish was a little over cooked but it was still nice. This is not a fine dining restaurant and is your typical take-away or eat inside style place so I was very thankful for the care they took. Our waiter was also very nice but they always are, last time was the same when we went. The house was 3/4 full but I didn't feel like I was waiting."

"This is not only one of the best sushi experiences in London, it is one of the best in the western world possibly excluding Norway. The precision of the chefs is a delight to watch. The quality of the fish is as high as London’s best. At the same time, the ambience of the place is plain and humble and no order is too small or too simple. Please don’t make the mistake of asking for a salmon and tuna combo with a California roll. You can get that from Wasabi or Itsu or M&S. Instead, stretch your limits and explore the seared butterfish and foie gras, or the chopped yellowtail with homemade truffle mayonnaise. The best option of all is to let the chef decide: Omakase sushi (9 piece), and prepare for a taste explosion. Don’t worry, carb avoiders, there won’t be too much rice. If you want a dressed up, glamorous, first date, fusion experience, go to one of the famous name restaurants and enjoy. But if you want an awesome yet down to earth, precision crafted, anniversary after anniversary sushi experience, this is your place."

"Hard to find a good-yet-priced-reasonably Japanese restaurant in Mayfair! Miyama is a good solution. We dined there and had the 42 GBP tasting menu (yes not 75 GBP). Most guests at other tables were Japanese (or Asian). Sushi and sashimi were good, black cod was decent. My scallops were slightly over peppered. Overall the restaurant interior is not the nicest (very white). Staff is nice and very attentive. Will come back!"

"I had an amazing experience coming to Pizza East near Ladbroke Grove. First of all, the pizza was amazing but in the beginning they mistaken my order because at first I wanted to have a pepperoni pizza and the friendly Slovakian waitress, Monika, thought I...meant red peppers on top of my pizza but I meant the red meat, pepperoni. I then told her after getting my first pizza that was mistaken and she felt very bad and sorry for me, I then explained what I really meant to have and i even showed both Monica and the cook a picture of the pizza I wanted. Then they remade the pizza for me and it turned out the way I exactly wanted! Because she felt bad Monica gave me the pizza they made a mistake on for me to take home for FREE! I thought this was very friendly for her to do this and afterwards we had a friendly conversation, and I told her I'm from United States but I come to London often and this actually was the night before my trip to Brussels and she wished me a good trip to Belgium and told me I must come back after my trip and after returning back to England I stopped by but unfortunately she wasn't working/there.I wish she had my contact. Overall I had an amazing experience and I am thankful I came here as this was my first time at this restaurant. AMAZING experience. I'll come back when I return back to UK in July 2020. Thank you."

"I had lunch in Goodfare Restaurant today and it was awesome. The menu had plenty of choices (that's why me and my friend we took forever to decide). We both decided to get the lunch menu, main course and desert. I had roasted chicken, which came along with gravy, potatoes and veggies, and apple crumble with custard cream. My friend got spaghetti bolognese and tiramisu she's half Italian so she's very picky with Italian food but she loved it. And I myself adored the meal. They also serve take-away meals and sandwiches. It's a big restaurant, we came early and it was half full already, but there was people waiting on line to seat when we left. So, yeah, it is good. It is popular. The...read more"

"Boyfriend had never been to afternoon tea but this one really stood out to us as we both enjoy Japanese food and this was a little ‘different’ from the usual (in the best kind of way) We booked it in the morning and turned up at 2:00. Brought downstairs the service was very good although hard to get people’s attention sometimes, they did eventually float back around to you. We chose ochakai. Staff were always friendly. They checked allergies too. When the food came out it looked incredible, although some of the pots (karage) were hard to get out of the frame it was all part of the fun. Everything tasted incredible and very authentic. The quality of the fish on the complimentary nigiri (sea bream and tuna given as part of their anniversary celebration) was so fresh and rich. The matcha was prepared in front of us with little pomp and circumstance making it approachable for something that may come across very formal or ceremonial. The whole experience was gorgeous and would love to do again. Be back soon x"

"Wow! This is the kind of restaurant that wants to change any other 5-star rating that I gave up to 4 because it simply CAN'T COMPARE. I go to restaurants looking for new flavors and new experiences and that definitely meets this brand! I've never had anything like a Caribbean idiot. The flavors are different from everything I had before and so good! I had the Tempeh guy and it broke my head. Even the old fashion was unique and on the point. In fact, everything is so accurate: proportions, heat, taste, presentation. If I had seen this place before, I would have eaten more here! Don't miss!"

"really delicious, healthy Japanese cuisine. the miso suppe is like a hug in a cup. great service and great variety on menu. with one of the dishes too much rice and not enough sauce/meat. and the only other room for improvement is I have always found it super cool in there, so take an additional cardiac. beautiful view of bruntsfield area where you can watch people. we always make ourselves happy and full. can't wait to come back."

"Omnino meaning all together in Latin serves quality Argentinian meats on a fairly nondescript basement space. Unlike an Argentinian steakhouse that is full of life and charisma, Omnino Steakhouse service, ambience and interior is dull. It is as if the joy of being in an Argentinan steakhouse was removed and replaced with a degree of uprightness. With that said the meat cuts including fillet, sirloin, picaÑa, rump and ribeye cuts are superb. The three cuts ordered for the table were perfectly cooked, tender and juicy. In terms of the sides, the black truffle gnocchi is rich and full of flavour. Highly recommended. The dessert menu is traditional including the usual suspects including dulce de leche cheesecake and Don Pedro, with the alfajores unfortunately not being available. Price wise a cut of meat will start you at £18.95 for an Argentine 250g Rump and top you at £49.00 for the ribeye foie gras. The sides come in at an average of £5.00. The wine list is strong, offering a variety of high quality Argentinian and Chilean options. Omnino is doing everything right in the kitchen. The front of house and ambience is uninspiring and dull. Something to work on and improve, in order to deliver on the promise of all together ."

"in an enclave in the quietest part of the marylebone lane only north of the wigmore street, this filiale offers a sophisticated oasis from the truppet of the oxford street. a little quiet this Monday lunch break despite the tempting of a discount on eating. I took a table at the side next to the bar with view of the social managerin the chain talking business with a male sommelier. was impressed by a mushroom soup with slices of the Cep variety with a whirl of cream, followed by a beautifully marbled ribeye steak frits with bear sauce. maybe a little distracted when the social manager took off her willing jumper, I knocked accidentally over the metal basket, which tipped some frit on the floor. the sommelier ordered an additional part. a large glass of montepulciano complicated the steak well. a vanilla rice pudding with frosty rounds is good."

"a nice little bistro with a quite lively atmosphere and a friendly service at the top end of soho. The prices are in london for starter and pizzen and for the net good. there is a pre-theater menu with elements. the menu for, but even though I was told, only choose a starter and a main course probably they need to be special for it when they order, and probably the portions are smaller when they do. but I'm not sure how much smaller they could be! while my wobble soup was perfectly reasonable, the muddles and chips were my wife and I small: maybe a third or less of the part they would get at another place and probably work on a clam! After they said that, they were nice big showers and well cooked, but I expected at least twice the amount. OK-ish house red at all in all, perfectly pleasant, but I left myself hungry and I wouldn't go back if there were so many other places to try."

"The food took quite a while to arrive. The restaurant has an interesting concept, featuring a variety of dishes inspired by Italian, European, Korean, and Japanese cuisines. While the food was delicious and beautifully presented, the concept seemed to lack cohesion, and none of the dishes were exceptional—they were simply average. The service was attentive but also slow. For instance, it took 20 minutes between ordering drinks and receiving a basket of broth. The restaurant could benefit from better organization between the front of house and back of house, allowing for items like the broth to be served more promptly, rather than making customers wait a long time for items that could be prepared quickly."

"My partner and I wanted to head in to town from South Dublin but hadn't booked anywhere. I gravitate toward Italian so did a quick check on Open Table and booked Rosa Madre having never been before and my partner and I loved it! The food and wine were great and reasonable for that part of Dublin. We were greeted by a really friendly guy in a cool black suit with some super out there trainers but he looked the business.. so Italian and stylish! Same for the rest of the staff though, really smart. We were seated upstairs and our waitress, who may well have been head, was excellent and in between giving us very attentive service was guiding and training a couple of newbies and did it so well without making them feel like the newbies. She fillited the sea bass in front of us but again it was so well done it just added to the great experience. Would happily recommend. We sat next to a family birthday and a lovely fuss was made with the birthday cake so I'd imagine this place would be great for a special occasion."

"I have not eaten nothing and i had to pay for everything. The food was tasting bad. The hamburger was very fat and pallid, the sausage fat and too acid, the chicken dry, small pieces with bone and other bad cut such as the chicken bottom. The wine arrived inside a dusty glass , overall the wine was ok, however i didn't drink much because i left all the food and i was concerned about the dust inside the glass which made the wine look cloudy. About the wine i asked the waiter he said that is the wine that is like that even though i could see that others next to me with the same wine had a more crystal clear wine than the one i had, the waiter didn't ask me for change the glass About the meat i said to the waiter that the quality wasn't the same that we had last time and all he did was talking about how good the quality of their meat is even though was obvious the contrary from the food on our table. At the end even without touching my foods and drinks the staff charged the full price for the lunch they didn't actually cared about anything that i said. I want to say that the first time we had great time and we liked the food. The last time we found a complete different quality of food and service too. Unsatisfactory and for me simply not worth it. From the services and food received seemed the typical place where you are not sure of what to expect from them. Not reliable amd seems that they don't care about their Saturday brunch clients probably they have already enough clients during the week. So in other word i would not suggest you to spend 35 pounds to do not be sure of what you are going to get while just next door there lot of other place like M where for only 15 pounds more you get top quality and better choice."

"Been trialling this workspace platform called Andco and Melior street was recommended. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the friendly manager who was eager to ensure I was well seated and prepared for the eye gouging that was to proceed. The coffee was reasonably priced, it’s the water you’ve gotta look out for. I didn’t know that he asking me if I wanted some water would prove very costly. If you are an aspiring entrepreneur, making sure costs doesn't spiral out of control, this may not be the best place for you. Extortionate £3.75 for water better be the blood of Jesus contained in that Kingsdown bottle. Don't forget the service charge too. It's another whole 12.5%. You can't help but have that feeling that you have just been passively extorted. I do think Andco should inform us that the water isn’t free so we at least know what to say; allowing the good manners of “just say no” our mums and Mrs Reagan have been praying be instilled finally kick in our instincts. Overall, great views, great ambience and now that the harsh lessons of a hefty levy has been learnt, I’ll be returning with my neck stretched well for the “No’s” it will help me reinforce. P.S the flies here are very friendly too; all over my gadgets, inviting themselves to my water and coffee and even taking a vantage point seat on my head."

"Service was excellent. Th starter and Desert were very good. The main course was disappointing. Too much Pesto and not enough seafood in the seafood languine. We were sure the chips for the fish and chips were frozen chips. You'd get better fish and chips from the local chippy. I'd expect better from Browns. Great space with good ambience. Felt safe from covid."

"This place is amazing and I can’t wait to take some friends here. The grilled duck and grilled pâté were full of flavour and reasonably priced as part of the Sunday roast lunch. The beef was delicious and the amazing looking aged beef cuts look like they would be amazing to share with a group of people. The wine selection is brilliant and the service was very friendly and a very high standard. How have I not known about this place?!"

"I visited as part of a private party and we had booked the private dining room in the cellar. this is a beautiful, intimate room with a full view of all the wee in the storage. we were even able to play our own music, and there is a summer to call on their waiter after need. there was a three course set menu that contained some really interesting dishes. eating was incredibly tasty, but was drained by sloppy mistakes. my starter of a crab and shrimp-open raviolio was lukewarm, on cold beaten and contained hard mush. my main course of stuffed rabbit was undercooked. such a scandal, because here is a talented cook. as expected was the weeping epic and the service was excellent. I come back to work through a few bottles!"
