"I went to Bar Soba alone for dinner after a concert at Oran Mor. I didn't have a reservation, but they were able to accommodate me. The service was excellent, with staff who were attentive and intuitive. I had dumplings and chicken satay, which were the best I've ever had. The dumplings were fried perfectly and filled with a delicious filling. The satay was juicy and flavorful, with roasted peanuts and a rich sauce. For my main course, I had the chicken katsu, which was crispy and juicy, with a perfect ratio of rice to chicken. I also enjoyed a selection of cocktails, all of which were beautifully presented and delicious. I spent over 3 hours at the restaurant and never felt rushed. The staff was attentive and friendly, and the bill was surprisingly reasonable for the high quality of food and service. I will definitely be returning to Bar Soba for their amazing Asian cuisine and impressive drink menu. Forget about other places on Byres Road, this is the place to go for great food and drinks."
