"Considering there was only a max of 20 allowed to dine in, service was extremely poor. No cutlery on the tables, no direction on how to order as the couple next to us told us we had to go inside the restaurant to order. Staff were not great at providing a nice environment to sitting customers. Would not go back again."

"The restaurant had a hideous decoration that resembled Thailand, but in a negative way, making it look like a poorly lit TGI Fridays. Despite being packed, it was surprisingly quiet for a Sunday at Pizza East."

"The interior of this Thai chain strikes you immediately. It is like a film set with its many well thought out pieces of ephemera from Thailand scattered around the restaurant. We began with the very reasonably priced cocktails which were well presented and packed a punch. The vegan mixed starter was pricey for the amount we got but all the elements were good especially the corn fritters. For main I had the tofu with veg and cashews. It was a good portion and came in a very tasty sauce. For the price though I feel it should have come with rice/noodles; the noodles I had were an extra £4.50 which I think is a bit ott. Overall a solid meal in a great environment."

"The restaurant has a great and extensive menu that can be viewed on their website beforehand. Although the starters were not the best value for the price, we were more than satisfied with the mains. We ordered a variety of dishes including a Thai Papaya Salad and a traditional bowl of Pad Thai. The Sea Bass main was especially delicious and cooked perfectly. We enjoyed a bottle of Sancerre from their good wine list, which was reasonably priced at £20. Overall, it was one of the best Thai meals we've had in a long time, despite having tried many in Brighton Hove."

"First time ever in this place and it definitely won't be our last. We fell in love with how authentic this place looks. Then the staff were super friendly, polite and absolutely fantastic at their job. The food was 2nd to none. We ordered some appetizers then our mains and along with a couple of drinks each I was surprised our bill wasn't more expensive than it was. The flavours if the dishes we ordered were astonishing, absolutely bursting with taste and authentic flavours of the Orient. Definitely making more visits to this place and without doubt the best Thai restaurant around."

"For the first time in the Brighton Giggling Squid, in a group of five on Wednesday evening (booked a week in advance). It looks like a converted house. Two steep steps to the entrance door, then sharp right onto the first dining area or straight up and flights from stairs to other dining areas here and there. Toilets are right at the top of the building, in what looks like a loft conversion (low ceilings at 45 degrees. We had a table upstairs in a small room with tables for four, four, two and six (us. Waiting staff were often to see and although it was busy (BOOK! there was little hanging around. We ordered starters and nets to go in a way we were very hungry and eight drinks. Cocktails served quickly, all right. The food was presented in shed pans and stoneware bowls, which you ate with knits and forks. Everything was nice, a starter, a main and a rice or noodle dish was about the right size for a hungry adult. They add a 10% service fee to the bill without asking, but waiter said that is shared right between the staff so that I do it at this and no top above, £184.03 overall. NB. The parking at The Lanes is only £5 from 18 to midnight and we used it. It is an excellent complex just found the corner of the restaurant."

"On arrival I couldn't park in any of the 4 disabled at the front of the restaurant and had to park some distance away. My Dad has severe walking disabilities and has stage 4 cancer and uses a frame to slowly move. You can guess how angry I was to see 3 big 4×4 and a two seater convertible parked in the bays with not one displaying a disabled badge. I complained to reception on entry and they just stated it was down to Middlebrook retail park and not the restaurant. These are bays directly in front of their doors. Surely then they should be Complaining to the retail park in defence of their disabled customers. They also sat him right at the other side of the restaurant when they could see he really, really struggles to walk. No care for the disabled at this place, so certainly won't be visiting again."

"Thaikhun offer great flavourful dishes at reasonable prices but what let them down was thier lack of customer service. The start of the experience consisted with me waiting at my table for over 25 minutes without being offered a drink, I had to call someone over who was clearing another table as clearly we had been forgotten about. I’d like to clarify that whilst the restaurant was busy other tables within our section were getting service. Ordered a jug of water for the table and a soft drink, the soft drink came straight away and then there was another long wait to which then only a glass of water was brought to the table rather than the jug we had requested as both of us wanted to hydrate. The food was quick to be served and large tasty portions but it seemed like there was a lack of attention to detail with ingredients stated on the menu being missed off and wrong sauces served with the dishes. I’ve never asked to remove a service charge before but last night I did because I did not feel we actually got any kind of customer service from start to finish. You pay for the food, you tip for the service."

"Our first time ever here and can't wait to go back. The food was amazing, we ordered too much food! Pork skewers, chicken satay tempura prawns and veg spring rolls to start with. Batter and pastry were so light, pork skewers were yum and hubby said satay was brill. Massaman chicken curry, pork on a bed of rice and crispy chicken with spring onions and onions, sticky rice (In hindsight was the wrong rice for our dish but still good) and a side order of chips. Cannot say a bad word at all. Staff were helpful and polite. Definitely would recommend you try here."

"The best meal at an advanced age. We ordered a pinto pad thai, Thai green curry, and a beef and basil dish (can't remember the exact names) all served with jasmine rice. Each dish was undeniably delicious with deep aromas and flavors. However, we were a bit on the fence about the desserts - banana fritters, mango cheesecake with coconut ice cream - they weren't quite to our taste. We will definitely return to try more of the main menu options."

"Now I've been to the Wardour Street branch and thought it was fine, if a little unmemorable.I came to this Store Street branch at lunchtime and ordered the jungle curry with steamed jasmine rice. The curry was horrible. I had to send it back. Full of woody bits of lemongrass, it was fiery yet tasteless. It also had goose-pimpled pieces of chicken skin floating around in it and it was throroughly off-putting. I know that often cheaper cuts like thigh and leg which have skin on it are used as they have more flavour, but the ratio of the skin and the meat was disproportionate. When I told the waiter I couldn't eat it, he gave me a withering look and said Maybe I should have told you that the jungle curry comes with chicken skin and is quite spicy Err yes, perhaps they should have told me that it would be garnished with flabby skin. But they didn't. It annoyed me that he tried to patronise me like that. I have spent many weeks in different parts of Thailand, and I never came across chicken skin curry after all.Everyone else declared their mains as delicious."

"great food, friendly staff and decor. alana, great work, keep it up. we were great within seconds after the entrance of the door, they could even postpone our booking as we were early. starter came fast and tasted absolutely amazing. we couldn't blame them in the least. our net, that was the smetterling pad thai was also something I would recommend. perfectly dimensioned, tasted from this world and something I would order again and again. the only thing I was disappointed was not getting a cold, but my partner did. the puddings were also brilliant, the chocolate exploded with taste and really satisfied that sweet tooth I had demanded. all in all we loved our experience and felt that our server alana was 10 out of 10. she helped us in our order, had a brilliant presentation and offered us an amazing customer service. the only one I was not satisfied with was the service fee that was added without warning. there may have been signs that I did not see, but I only found out when I was flipped and said that this was added automatically."

"cheap and cheerful. may not be fine eating for a special occasion, but its very good value and the current peculiarities seem decent. 3 quid for a massive part of perfectly acceptable noodles and can argue by pop cant with that for a delicious cooked lunch with simple parking. halal concentrated so much spicy, but not to have a black or alcohol."

"I visited this restaurant based on the very good reviews. The older male waiter with the short hair was so rude! We kindly asked if we could be seated on another table as the restaurant was empty but had us seated besides the staff table and another couple during covid19. He responded you are 2, not 6. We didn 't complain that we wanted a bigger table, just another table to be more socially distanced. Funnily enough there were 2 women seated on a table for 6 so I 'm not sure why he let them sit on a table for 6 but wouldn 't allow this same treatment for us. We told him this wasn 't an issue and we would stay seated. He then complained to another staff that we wanted another table. She kindly offered us another table but once again we assured him that we were fine with where we were seated. He continued to speak to us rudely throughout the evening. We spent £100 and spent less than 40 minutes in the restaurant because of how uncomfortable this waiter made us feel. Food was decent but the wagyu beef was overpriced and what tasted like cheap meat would rather spend £50+ on a good steak somewhere. The grilled eel was lovely and can 't be faulted. If you want good Japanese food there are plenty of good spots in the Soho area. This restaurant wasn 't busy on a Saturday evening but we still had the most appalling service."

"This restaurant is full of surprises. The food came out very quickly. I tried the vegetarian pad thai and the pad khing with coconut rice. The flavors were delicious and amazing. I couldn't stop looking at what others were eating. The chicken in the green Thai curry was not great, but the curry itself was very nice. We also tried the mixed seafood curry, one of the chef's specialties. The curry was spicy and flavorful, but it didn't have the wow factor."

"the staff was friendly, but unfortunately the eating was disappointing. we had no feedback so they could not even feed back to the personal. it did not taste that fresh and was dry/painted in taste. the restaurant also felt a bit dirty, it was dusty through the windows and the bathroom needed some tlc, most of the spot lights were out"

"The food at this restaurant is fantastic and reasonably priced. The service was friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was enjoyable and the music was at a perfect volume for conversation with friends. I will definitely be returning soon. I adore the cozy ambiance of this place. A special shoutout for the delicious pineapple ice cream that made my birthday extra memorable. This restaurant has become my new favorite spot. Thank you!"

"My partner and I recently visited Edinburgh for a short break and decided to try out Thai 2 Go Street Food after finding it on Google Maps while searching for Asian cuisine. After a quick 10-minute bike ride from our hotel, we arrived at the restaurant and placed our order to go. The food was absolutely delicious! I ordered a red tofu curry while my partner opted for the pad thai with shrimp. We also enjoyed some pak choi and jasmine rice on the side. The flavors were authentic and reminded us of our time spent in Thailand. The staff were also very friendly and made our experience even more enjoyable. We will definitely be returning to Thai 2 Go Street Food in the future!"
