"All in all a good restaurant with solid quality food and very attentive service. We had sashimi rainbow rolls to start with, which we all very satisfactory, but not overly exciting at the same time. We continued with a hot main courses of yellowtail jaw, which had a lot of tender meat on it (surprisingly, it's a jaw after all! , but I know for myself. Is that I prefer yellowtail as sashimi rather than cooked, because the flavour somewhat gets lost with cooking. The lamb chops were rather disappointing unfortunately as they were over salted and a bit chewy too. Green tea ice cream was good, however I prefer it plain, while Izakaya serves it on a bed of crunch garnished with chocolate chips. All in all a good meal but somewhat unexciting. Would I return to Izakaya? Certainly if I happen to be in the area, but I would definitely stick to sashimi and rolls."

"I went with my fellows to eat after searchers. I'm thai and I usually don't eat in Thai restaurant, but I've visited this place for years because of the authenticity of their eating. you eat is always fresh and well represented. highly recommended fried mustels, thai spicy salad, which go well with the weeping tiger (drilled bark) and thai green curry! also it was very good value for money, as main dish comes with rice."

"Lovely restaurant food nice but not many options for vegetarians or kids (not even offered a kids menu) limited deserts. Service was OK but had to remind a few times about extras not served and then ordered drinks at the end with deserts that never came. Also didn't question when one plate was left completely untouched (someone didn't like what they ordered) Waiter also wasn't clued up on menu when asked what was in a dish just re read the menu to us"

"This place used to have good food and service but was disappointed during this visit. Starters were good but the main course was very disappointing. They did not have my reservation on file even though I had a confirmation regarding the same. Servers also seemed to be in a hurry to shut down the place even though there was over an hour for their end time."

"The food at this restaurant is fantastic and reasonably priced. The service was friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was enjoyable and the music was at a perfect volume for conversation with friends. I will definitely be returning soon. I adore the cozy ambiance of this place. A special shoutout for the delicious pineapple ice cream that made my birthday extra memorable. This restaurant has become my new favorite spot. Thank you!"

"I used to be a loyal patron, but I was quite disappointed when I paid £9 for a rice dish that only had 2 prawns. It felt like I could have easily prepared it at home for much less. I mentioned my concerns when I ordered 3 dishes, specifically asking for a decent amount of prawns, and I was assured they would meet my request. Unfortunately, they didn 't follow through on their promise. My daughters and I used to frequent this place, but this experience has led us to reconsider our choice. Please consider improving the quality and quantity of your dishes. Please take this feedback into account for future improvements RESPONSE TO YOUR REPLY!!!!!!!!!!!!! I understand your concern, and I appreciate your apology for not meeting the expected standard in your prawn dishes. It 's reassuring to know that your prawn dishes should include 4 king prawns, and it may have been an unintentional mistake. However, I won 't email you to resolve this issue. I 've experienced this problem multiple times, with the most recent occurrence just a few days ago when my daughter and I ordered the same dish, and the prawns were once again insufficient. While one mistake can be forgiven, a total of 5 incorrect dishes within a week suggests a recurring issue. We value our hard-earned money just as much as you do, and we hope for better experiences in the future. This experience has left us with no choice but to say, NEVER AGAIN."

"My partner and I recently visited Edinburgh for a short break and decided to try out Thai 2 Go Street Food after finding it on Google Maps while searching for Asian cuisine. After a quick 10-minute bike ride from our hotel, we arrived at the restaurant and placed our order to go. The food was absolutely delicious! I ordered a red tofu curry while my partner opted for the pad thai with shrimp. We also enjoyed some pak choi and jasmine rice on the side. The flavors were authentic and reminded us of our time spent in Thailand. The staff were also very friendly and made our experience even more enjoyable. We will definitely be returning to Thai 2 Go Street Food in the future!"

"I was recently asked why I no longer have local restaurants in South London. my answer to this question or demand from some is a small Thai restaurant with seat in clapham that ticks all boxes whether they want to invite a large group or want a private dining room experience, good service, indoor and outdoor kitchen. Oh, but eat it! I like so many of them, choose what I feel, with or what is familiar, but I felt adventurous perhaps it was the smokey red decor that lured me into an adventurous condition. but I decided to order "lost in blvd" which is a rich lamb in massaman curry with kartoffel and erdnuss. I know that they have often heard this when people can't find...read more"

"This restaurant has only been open for a month, so they are still getting started. The food was decent overall - the calamari was delicious, the papaya salad had a kick, and the fried chicken was good. The gado gado was decent, but the roti canai curry was on the salty side and quite thick. The Assam laksa was tasty, while the traditional laksa was okay but resembled more of a curry mee. The char kway teow tasted more like the KL variety with dark soy sauce and could have been more fragrant. The hainanese chicken rice was served with plain steamed rice instead of the roast/fried chicken we had requested - there was a miscommunication with the staff on this issue. Although we didn't feel like correcting the mistake at that point, the nasi lemak was alright. The wat tan hor was decent, and the water spinach with belacan was good. The cocktails were enjoyable. Overall, it was not a bad meal, but there were no desserts available. I may consider going back to try other items in the future."

"excellent eating, but a curious setting of the staff. reserved a table on “Open Table” and came to a cold, lifeless reception. the restaurant was not full, but we were shown on a table between the main traffic flow and a table of six young in dirty work clothes, but thank you no thank you for having this beautiful romantic big table over there. do not think what the customer wants? who wants to sit there? good food well presented and delicious. decent wine list. all hands-anitaries were empty and dirty. the toilets need a damn good cleaning. the whole place needs a revitation, bad lighting, no background music and it feels like a school dining room with pictures. we would come back, but only if not, where else was present, previous reviews are far too generous in their comments and there was no critical review. we rated it 5/10, could do much better and be much happier."

"I ordered a take-away for my family just after 5pm on Saturday evening, spending over £50. It took over 2 hours to arrive and when we unpacked it, the cartons for several dishes were less than 50% full. E.G. Beef with Pak Choi, charged at £7.95 and Crispy Seaweed £5.45 but there was literally less than half a carton. What sort of restauranteur would think it's acceptable to keep a customer waiting over 2 hours, then send out cartons that are quite clearly nowhere near a fair size portion for the price they charge? No apology, not even a few prawn crackers as a gesture to make up for the wait. Then the added insult of only enabling me to feed half my family. Needless to say I will NEVER order from Paya again and my advice to anyone else is to choose another restaurant."

"I 've been to this restaurant several times before but this time the food wasn 't great. Tempura vegetables weren 't tempura but a very heavy, undercooked, batter. Duck in a curry was essentially just skin and not much meat. Crispy chicken option from a stir fry dish was slimy and quite disgusting. I 'd previously raved about this place but now I think I 'll give it a miss for a while."

"Conveniently located on St Clements Street in Oxford, this restaurant is a great option for those looking to avoid the hustle and bustle of the city center. Nearby parking is available for customers. The menu offers a variety of Asian fusion options that are simple and easy for the kitchen to prepare. While the flavors may not be completely authentic, they are still enjoyable. A standout dish is the Korean fried chicken, and the Japchae with beef is also delicious. However, I would not recommend the Thai green curry or spring rolls. The Hainan rice is plain white rice without seasoning, and Bubble Tea is available but requires an extra charge for tapioca bubbles."

"Overall just a lovely experience for two girls who hadn't seen each other for a while. The food was great! The music was really cool and our waiter ROY even took the trouble to bring us the CD to show us what it was when we complimented the music. Red Veggie Curry and what I loved best was that we could choose any extra toppings we wanted, which is very rare in a thai resto. The staff were very patient and sweet about all our questions. We will be back! My only complaints:The veggie balls which we thought were going to be like pan fried corn fritters, were a little overcooked and very deep fried. It was a shame they didn't have the red wine we actually chose the restaurant for by looking at the menu before we sat down but it turned out that the Pinot Grigio was just as good and went better with the food probably."

"I passed by a display board outside this restaurant which showed inter alia a plate of mango sticky rice one of my favourites I was intrigued also by the fact that there was no shop front just a door leading to the downstairs restaurant. I ordered a plate of spicy aubergine, which was good and then the desired mango sticky rice. The mango was like turnip and I complained to the waiter. He admitted that that was all they had in terms of mangos. He was taking the plate away when, not liking to see things go to waste, I said I could eat some of the sticky rice with its coconut sauce and the plate was returned with that part on it. When the bill came I couldn 't believe that, instead of being charged about £8 for the mango sticky rice I was charged about £6 for the rice! I complained again and this charge was removed from the bill. When I returned home and retailed this story to my wife she reminded me that we had in fact dined at this restaurant pre Covid and had such a poor meal that we had vowed never to go there again!"
