"This was a lovely dining experience for a Saturday night. The décor is classy and the waiting staff were attentive. We ordered a small mixed grill, pepper chicken, biryani and garlic naan for a party of 2. We left very full and happy. The food was delicious and the service was quick. As it was our anniversary, the restaurant gifted our dessert free of charge. We'll definitely come back."

"oh my, definitiw one of if not the best curries in oxford! I had taken away several times from cafe spice and it disappointed never. large portions of absolutely delicious curry and great naan to very favorable trips means that this place cannot be missed. Today we have tried a few curries that we had not tried for a bit of variation before, and all wild cards have proved to be simply beautiful and tasty. the delivery was super fast and the food was hot when we got it. If they like curry, they have to get it here!"

"I visited the Rustom restaurant on 29th Dec. 2021 during my Christmas New year break. It's a well maintained , neat and a formal looking restaurant. I had my lunch here. I ordered 3 starters which was good. The paneer was spicy but we'll cooked. The masala fish and grilled fish was good too. When I ordered just a single main curry , I was requested by the staff to order a minimum of two curries since it's a hotel policy they follow. Was taken aback as I did not see it coming but obliged to it. The main course was good as the starters but personally Omar Khayyam restaurant which is quite next to this hotel which has overall lower rating than this wins hands down. Except the main curries hotel policy I was happy with the food and the polite staff."

"Just a quick review, we were walking about looking for somewhere to eat and come across this place. We try to find small businesses rather than big chains to support them. My partner and I had a good experience here and the fried rice was one of the best I've ever had. We had more than we could eat, the portions were good and i really enjoyed my meal. Service was with a smile and prompt, my only suggestion would be to give this little place a makeover if ever possible as quite tired. Also like to point out this Indian is by far the cheapest around where you could pay double just by walking a few streets. Overall all lovely experience enjoyed my food what more could you want?"

"30th August made a order online. I had already paid. I wondered what was going on as i havent heard anything from this company, then finally get a message rejecting the order! I rang up asked for a refund and why my order was rejected, the person I spoke too was nice and to ring the 3rd party as they took the money. I then get a phone call back I will get refund by end of day. I recieved nothing, next day I phoned up he was nice again told me that he will get in touch as soon as he knows something and apologised, My partner went to the shop without knowing I had already called. This man showed a WhatsApp message that havent been seen by curry hunter which I throught is very unprofessional. I phoned up again on monday he said can I get back to you. Tuesday this time it was the brother of the other person. He was very rude he made me cry down the phone, told me that his brother told me partner that I will get a refund in 2weeks which was a lie, he was shouting at me wouldnt letting me get out what I had to say he. I then get a text message from the person I was talking to before saying it's not for them to give me the money that curry hunter needs to sort it out not them. I then had a phone call from the manager from curry hunter manager very nice and understand they told me how things are meant to work and how mazza has dealt with me and this situation is very wrong. He told me I will receive this refund tomorrow if not to call. I got nothing I wouldnt rate this company at all never had a problem until now will not be going back EVER!!"

Overall, we were not very impressed with the service. The food itself was good, but it would have been better as an appetizer before our main meal. "Have been to the other two branches in London many times, and the food of a similar standard here very good. I struggle to believe the negative reviews I've never had a bad meal at any branch of Woodlands, and can't really understand how anyone could come here and not enjoy it, unless they either fundamentally didn't like Indian food, or had a very blinkered sense of what it should be and weren't prepared to be open minded enough to have a meal without meat. I think the Woodlands restaurants display some of the most intelligent use of spices of any Indian restaurant I've been to, and as a vegetarian the variety on offer is a delight. The South Indian dosas are also an interesting addition to more familiar Indian dishes found elsewhere in the UK. It was a bit dead on the Sunday lunchtime when we visited but that suited us just fine."

"We went to the restaurant on Sunday afternoon. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The service could have been a bit faster, but it wasn't slow. The venue was very nicely decorated. My only complaint is that there are too many TVs in the restaurant. I didn't realize it would be like that. When I'm having Sunday lunch, I don't want to be surrounded by football on every screen. The restaurant feels more like a sports bar, even though it's not advertised as one. It's a shame because other than that, the restaurant is excellent."

"Went here with some family friends for a meal. Been here once before as well. Always great food, I ordered fish pakoras which were perfectly seasoned and the fish was perfectly cooked very soft. We also ordered lamb chops which were sizzling hot as they brought it to us, spices were great and the meat would just tear of the bone so easily. We ordered a few different main dishes, butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, saag chicken, and achaari gosht, all cooked to perfection. And a jug of mango lassi which had the perfect amount of sweetness to it. Only thing that let me down a bit was I had to keep calling the waiter when I needed something, the waiters don't really come to your table to ask if everything is OK and if we needed anything else. Overall great place to eat out."

"Just got home after a really lovely family meal here (kids 12 5yrs . Everything was perfect. Spotlessly clean and lovely decor, poppadoms and chutneys whilst we browsed the menu, great selection of food (3/4 of us are vegetarian , water regularly topped up. Staff were all so kind and friendly. We ordered the veg momo's to start which came with a delicious spicy dipping sauce. For mains we had veg korma, shaslick super, pudina paneer and a cold dish I can't remember the name of but it was so delicious. Enjoyed it all too much to take photos! (Our son also smashed his glass and the staff were so kind and understanding. We are only visiting the area but will definitely go back if ever here again. Highly recommend! Nicest meal our we've had in ages."

"Booked a table here for 7pm on a Saturday and appreciate they are probably getting ready for a busy night but the whole experience was incredibly rushed. Soon as we sat down we were asked by a surly waiter how many popadoms we wanted, which were unceremoniously dumped on the table. Immediately asked what we wanted to eat and felt rushed to make a decision. The food came out very quickly (10 minutes tops) and the remaining popadom and condiments removed. We were in and out in 40 minutes. However, the food was nice enough (butter chicken a bit watery) and good value, though we’d usually share a rice but the portion of rice was very small so I’d suggest ordering one for each person. Would probably visit again but maybe not for a special occasion (partners birthday)."

"I recently enjoyed a wonderful set meal at this restaurant. The chicken tikka and seekh kebab starters, along with the salad, onion salad, and minted yogurt, were all delicious. The portion sizes were generous and the naan bread was soft and excellent. However, two of the main courses were somewhat disappointing as they were too sweet. The chicken tikka masala and mattar paneer seemed overly sweet, almost like a dessert. It's a shame because the underlying flavors were good. I would have given a higher rating if it weren't for this issue. We had booked online and received a text message notifying us that delivery would be delayed by 40 minutes. Initially, we considered canceling our order. However, after making a phone call, our meal was delivered in just 30 minutes. It's definitely worth calling to place your order!"
