"Oh my goodness! I don't even know where to begin with this place.. without a doubt, Bangla Kitchen has the worst takeaway food I have ever had and the customer service we experienced this evening was so terrible, it almost seemed like a joke. First of all, the food was so greasy that it was literally dripping out of the foil wraps. Secondly, when we checked our order, we realized that it was incorrect and parts of it were missing. And the parts that were correct were just awful - the meat was dry, there was a butter wrapper left inside the naan bread, and the tikka masala tasted completely different than usual, almost like something from a jar. When we contacted the restaurant to complain, we were met with a yelling, angry man on the phone who offered no apology and continued to shout at us. I was speechless. In conclusion, if you're looking for delicious Indian food with great customer service, definitely steer clear of Bangla Kitchen. I will never order from there again and would advise others to do the same."

"The restaurant is very nicely decorated but the food and service do not match to that experience. We were sat so close to other people on other tables it was like were dining with them. We attended pre concert and chose the concert menu. The appetisers came within minutes of ordering, there wasn't a lot for the price. The mains we had to wait over 45 minutes for which was not good and we kept being told it was on the way. The food when it came was average curry really. It had obviously been cooked in a huge batch as it was on the set menu so not sure why it took so long. The service was not great...we were never asked if the food was ok or if we wanted another drink. We only had Coke and this was rather expensive at £3 for a tiny bottle.... Overall i think the place is very nice but the food was average at best and the service poor. The set menu was £25 per person which was not value for what you actually got. We saw a 10% service charge on our bill which we asked to be removed. Tried it, but wouldn't go back again."

"We had a fantastic experience with Indian cuisine! We tried the saag paneer, muttar, and garam masala, along with the special rice and chicken meat fry. Everything was delicious! This is definitely the place to visit for Indian food in Buddeen! To our surprise, we also ordered pizza, and it was incredible! We couldn't believe how tasty it was! While it may not be a traditional pizza, it had an Indian twist. The crust tasted like naan, which was amazing! There were so many options to choose from that it took us a while to decide on our orders. Although we had to wait a bit for our food, it was definitely worth it."

"I really like the food from here, EVERYTHING on the menu is vegetarian! And everything we've tried is delicious. Great options for the pizzas and their mock chicken is the best I've tried. I've not tried the others yet so I can't comment but I will try them at some point. They have other options than just pizza, my hubby has had a burger a couple of times and has enjoyed them. The pizzas are really good, they don't really have crusts and the size of the pizza is great. We both have some and there is still leftovers for lunch the next day. Definitely worth a look, even if you aren't veggie. 4 stars given because the first time we ordered it was really quite late but its been fine the couple of times since."

"I was very disappointed with my meal. The Veg Sharing Platter, which the manager recommended, was not impressive. The lamb and seekh kebab were served cold, and the other items were merely lukewarm. Overall, it wasn't great. The service, however, was exceptional; our waiter was fantastic. Unfortunately, I won't be returning, as this place seems to be overrated. Additionally, we were charged for mogo chips that were never delivered, and now we have to wait for a refund."

"Had been looking forward to trying this place as had heard great reviews but unfortunately very disappointed. Ordered chilli garlic Prawns which did not contain peppers as described and the sauce tasted like chilli ketchup. Squid starter was the most disappointing, the batter was coming off the squid resulting in a congealed sauce which was thick anyway.. Shame about texture as sauce was flavoursome. . The butter chicken was lovely but quite spicy which is surprising as this dish is usually mild, unfortunately no indication of spice level on website otherwise would have asked for spice to be reduced. Placed order over the phone but now wished I placed it on website as they didn't apply correct meal deal, when asked I was advised the butter chicken was not classic curry and therefore not included in deal. Only checked when I returned home and this was one of the dish choices on website for the meal deals. This resulted in over charging me which is bit dishonest."

"Although the name suggests the menu to be high non understandable, but surprisingly its as desi and can be moulded according to your taste. The first experience was very good, the wait staff was cordial and customised everything according to my taste. But the second time, there was the most rude staff who said nothing is available. Bad experience the second time around. But still would recommend going at least once here. Your luck if you get the good wait staff or the bad one."

"Used to be good, this time around we were served raw chicken and when I told them they proceeded to argue that the expert the chef said it was not. I pointed out the blood and pink bits of chicken but was no use as the expert didn’t agree. "I had booked a table for 2 as it was hubbies birthday. When we walked in we were warmly greeted and shown to our table upstairs. Please note there is a lift available). The chair was comfy and plenty of table room. The waiter brought our lunch menu and explained the dishes on offer. Please note they have changed the lunch menu to that shown on their site). It now a choice of three complete menu dishes. We ordered the meat menu and it arrived on a sectioned stainless steel plate and we were not disappointed what was on it. One section for starter, three section holding chicken, lamb different curries, boiled rice and chapatti. Oh boy was it tasty and we cleared our plates. We washed it down with a J20 and Coke. The bill was £25.80 to which £5.90 was for the drinks). I would recommend this place and for one will definitely be going back."

"I hadn’t had a take away from Sonali for about 20yrs because I moved out of the area. However I’m back now I really fancied a curry tonight so went on line to find a take away that not only delivered but that I could also order and pay for online and Sonali Balti was the only local one that I could find. Delivery was stated as 60mins which was a bit disappointing as I was so hungry but I went ahead and ordered anyway. To my delight it was delivered 30mins later by a very polite young man. The food was piping hot and much more than I could manage, including complimentary poppadoms, so I have plenty left for another meal or two. The curry was delicious and just to my liking and the naan was light and fluffy. I will definitely be using them again!"

I must say that I was extremely impressed and even a bit frustrated that I only have one stomach, as the food was truly magical and delicious. "Googled closest Indian restaurant to Manchester Airport as were were picking relatives up. The Cinnamon Tree came out nearest. Booked a table online. Was very pleased with the food which was lovely. Good sized portions. Thought it was quite expensive though compared to our local Indian restaurant which is in a nicer setting and has nicer decor. The Cinnamon Tree would benefit from an update particularly the upstairs toiled facilities. Nice friendly Staff however and would go again if the occasion arose."

"Great menu! Very refreshing and different to the usual North Indian cuisine majority of the British Indian restaurants offer. Definitely try their Indian Chinese starters like chilli chicken, salt pepper prawns, veg manchurian and their cocktails! Natak’s menu beats Dishoom for us ; They have a new and excited team of waiters waitresses who take your eating plates away in a rush so a bit of service awareness missing but otherwise they’re all friendly prompt. "Although the food was nice, the experience was not! The manager was rude and did not make us feel welcome. Rushed us to order saying we had limited time at the table as it was booked for another group in 90 minutes. Then the food took forever to arrive. Waiting for the bill and for a waiter to come and take our payment felt like an eternity! We left 45 minutes after the time the manager said the next booking was due to arrive, they never came because there was no other booking! One waiter opened the door for us when we left and said thank you. That was the most polite any of the staff had been all evening. Very disappointing and no wonder the staff are miserable with a manager like that! We were looking for a place for the 8 of us to meet up regularly, it won't be at Vakas! Will never go there for a meal again!"

"khanage is a hidden gem hidden at the end of the northern line true lahori eating served in a really funny environment. the ambiente agreed to the quality of eating, delicious nihari (laminschus) served with kulcha naan, lamb pasande (filled lamb slices) served with tandoori roti both favourite dishes were just so delicious and the meat melted in our mouth. the seasoned were just really not mouth-burning, so they enjoyed all the different seasoned. the waiters were attentive and made sure that we were well looked around we will go back and forth"
