"I had high hopes for Kateh, but unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory. We booked a table for five in advance and made sure to inform the restaurant by phone that we would be bringing a child. We were told that it was fine, although they mentioned they didn't have a high chair, which we understood and accepted. However, upon arrival, things took a turn for the worse. My son was asleep in his stroller, and we simply wanted to keep him next to our table while we dined. The restaurant was nearly empty, with plenty of space available, yet the staff displayed zero consideration or empathy. They flat-out refused to allow us to have the stroller by our table, despite the ample room. What made the situation even more frustrating was the attitude of the owner. Rather than showing understanding, they were rude and uncompassionate, making us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. Given that we were paying customers who had taken the time to book in advance and communicate our needs, this level of disregard was shocking. I wouldn’t recommend Kateh to anyone looking for a family-friendly dining experience, especially if you have young children. It’s disappointing when a restaurant fails to show basic courtesy and understanding towards its customers."
