"Kateh is barely 10 tables, so the setting is very intimate. The staff are excellent and service was impeccable. The food is good. The only reason I did not give it a 5, was because I have eaten better Persian food. Its tucked away near Little Venice, so few people know about it, but given the size, it is advisable to Book a Table before visiting. There are loads of Vegetarian options among the starters. But only one vegetarian maincourse. Murgh Parid A stew with root vegetables and apricots It was very tasty though. I'd heavily recommend the Koofteh Berenji beef meatballs among the starters and the Adas Pollo A Persian style biryani among the mains. The Zaytoon Parvadeh was a...read more"

So, Kateh was actually recommended to me by an ex back when I studied in London.

Not badAte dinner here in a group of eight people The meal was perhaps a little expensive, though.

By far the most refined Persian food I've ever had. Not oily or over spiced like other establishments. My kids even want to eat there every week. Great service too. Not arrogant but they take pride in their work. Michael and Paulo treat you like family.

kateh is one of the first restaurants that we tried when we moved into the opposite – and then we brought everyone to visit! while the menu is quite meaty (mainly lamb,) there are some very special vegetarian options in there that make this place a regular favorite of me.

By far my favourite Persian restaurant in London. The tables are few but it adds to the atmosphere. Tucked away in a small side street of Maida Vale, the food is delicious and the owner greets you with a friendly smile and has a vast knowledge of the wine available to have with your meal. Best fesenjoon in town! View menu

kateh is without doubt the best Persian-Iran restaurant that I was outside the iran. it's better to miles than anything we have in dubai. the hotel is located in one of the side streets of the picturesque little venice, the petite ground floor and cellar interior is the epitome of smart casual. it is beautifully pariser and perser at the same time.

we had a reservation on 11. juli at 20:15 for two people in restaurant called “Cateh”. the best way to check this restaurant is to say: “Five-star food with some zero-star waiter!” we are regular customers usually we had a nice service and we were always satisfied with the food quality. Today, one of the waiters has ruined our whole mind over this place! After asking for the bill, the bill was £69, so I left £70 on the table, then I went to the washroom. while my friend waited for the waiter to take away the payment. the waiter came to our table and counted 70 pfund. but instead of going away with the money. he pointed to my friend at the reception...read more
