"We went as a group of 6 friends. I booked a table 2 weeks ago by phone but they didn't have my reservation when we got there. Luckily, there were plenty of empty tables so we were able to be seated but it's annoying that whoever took the booking, never wrote it down. We ordered lots of small plates to start. The padron peppers were hotter than expected. About half of them were painfully too hot. Usually one expects one out of ten but there were too many. We then ordered our main courses. The crab pasta had way too much garlic and was too oily completely drowning out the flavour of the delicate crab meat. The chef needs to know about this. Having said that, the rest of the food was good (especially the pizza) and the staff were all very friendly."

We ordered a starter to share it was fantastic 10/10 I ordered a chicken and mushroom dish as a main it was served luke warm so I asked if they could heat it up for me which the server did, I like mushrooms but I didn't like getting a mouthful of grit with every mouthful, was very disappointed) as we have eaten here many times and never had a disappointing meal before Next time I visit Bishop Stortford I will return but just not order that dish Staff were great as always"

"We were a group of friends meeting up after 45 years of being Facebook friends and simply chose Il Gusto bc of its proximity to Paddington station. Online reviews seemed okay but boy, how wrong we were to book a reservation in this restaurant! Normally Italian restaurants are known for their friendliness and good service. Not here. I was the first to arrive, 20 minutes early bc my trains only run hourly. It was pouring with rain and so I was surprised that the waiter told me that I should return in 20 minutes. He was standing in a nearly empty restaurant with a few people already tucking into their lunch. I suggested I waited on the booked table, he said no table had been allocated. So I ordered a glass of wine and olives while I waited for my friends. To be fair there was a waitress who was friendly and seemed embarrassed by her colleagues offhandedness. When my friends arrived the service did not improve. Really, trying to take away plates when we’re still eating is the height of rudeness. The restaurant wasn’t busy, there were other people eating but the staff weren’t rushed off their feet. My family work in hospitality so I know a group of well mannered friends are normally welcomed, not least bc it’s very easy to upsell to a happy group. The starters were fine, but the mains were disappointing. Not awful just nothing to distinguish them. A further point- are the staff trained to deal with nut allergy sufferers? I’ve never has such a disinterested response from a waiter for years, even when I took out my epipen to empathise my point. So, in summary staff training is needed bc if it wasn’t for the fact we’d planned this meeting for some time we would have walked out to find another more welcoming restaurant. By the way I was so shocked by the trashed toilet door I took a photo."

"I took my mother to the Two Sisters restaurant for her birthday last Sunday. We were immediately greeted and informed about the brunch options (i.e. buffet versus brunch specials and other adjustments, such as turkey bacon instead of pork). I think this is a great place for a relaxed brunch and definitely for a mother-daughter date. We loved the food and the service. We drove to a Groupon and will definitely drive again without the Groupon. Worth it."

"Friendly popular little Italian on Ecclesall Road South. Fairly standard menu, though a bit light on vegetarian options, but the dishes we had last night were excellent tender tasty grilled artichokes on flatbread as a starter, a substantial plate of sea bass and accompanying roast potatoes and veg, and an equally generous sized dish of homemade cannelloni, plus a rocket and Parmesan salad. Service was really quick and warm despite the busy evening, and the place has a friendly atmosphere: perhaps just a bit noisy lots of hard surfaces! till it quietened down a bit after 8.30. It’s worth noting that despite the big BYOB sign outside £2 corkage per bottle La Luna does have a decent short wine list. A nice place, and one to add to your list."

"Decided to eat at Saponara based on a quick google search which said best pizza in north London. When we arrived the lovely man was so welcoming and friendly, as was the waitress. Now to the food... the pizza was the best pizza I have had outside of Italy, everything down to the sauce felt authentic and the taste was perfect. We ordered a bottle of the house red wine and that was absolutely divine, and authentic. Me and my friends will definitely return and would recommend Saponara to anyone! "I have been a patron of this establishment since it was an old Irish pub with unique window panes and sticky carpets. However, tonight, I experienced extreme rudeness and appalling customer service. I initially ordered a pizza through Deliveroo for £18, which is not cheap. The app stated that it would take 60-90 minutes to arrive, so I attempted to cancel the order. Unfortunately, it had already been accepted by the pub and my attempts to contact them went unanswered. I decided to go to the restaurant in person to address the issue. Upon explaining the situation to a waitress, a bearded man with a ponytail interrupted and blamed Deliveroo for the problem. Despite my efforts to find a resolution, he continued to deflect responsibility and was unhelpful. He accused me of shouting and gesturing, which I was not doing. He even rudely blew his nose without excusing himself. Eventually, he told me to leave the premises. I left the pizza behind and complained to Deliveroo, who agreed to refund me. This staff member's behavior was unacceptable and he clearly lacks proper customer service skills."

"good cocktails. decent pizza (instead of the time she arrived). net staff.br < br/> but when I visited, they were certainly understated, which was more sour in the evening. cocktails took half an hour, pizzas came into odd shows (over twenty minutes apart). it is a big little spot and could be a must be visited, but on a Friday night they simply need more bodies on the floor the waiters working on the service with full affection, but there was simply no possibility to do everything. the food was quite good (but cold) and the drinks were innovatiw and tasteful (I enjoyed the neon blue violet skies above all), and the pizzeria and cocktail for is a fab evening deal, so I will try again and hope for a happier experience next time."

"There isn't a lot of quality places to dine in Cricklewood, so we opted to reserve a table for 2 here! When arriving at Elementree, I had to check we were at the same restaurant that I looked at online, the photos had painted a better looking establishment. There was one side of the restaurant with no one in it, so we opted to sit at the top restaurant near the open kitchen, the problem with this was the bar and football blasting out above our heads, don't choose this area if you want a romantic meal. My wife chose Crab Linguini which she couldn't fault, I had Pan-fried king prawns, chilli, garlic, bisque, cherry tomatoes with Linguini again couldn't fault it. The service was good, and I would recommend a visit if you're not to fussy about ambience or quality of your surroundings. From our visit to Cricklewood, it's about the best restaurant to go to, or choose Bonoo Indian Tapas at below address, this is high end quality food 675 Finchley Rd London NW2 2JP"

"we had a great time in cru, my birthday contract, which was amazing eating, the personal was excellent and attentive, I loved the white wine, best I had, I like white and often have hardships to get a medium, not dry. that was delicious and really perfect for me. it was very cool in the restaurant, so was also comfortable for me as the temperature was unusually high outside. we will definitely come back and tell friends about it."

"Visited Casa Tua for the second time, both time with friends. Ideal for a group of 4 or a dîner en tête à tête.
