Rich and hearty meat sauce with tomatoes, simmered to perfection and served over al dente pasta.

"Been a few times and sometimes lovely and other times not the best.today one of us ordered kiev and we knew it was half hour wait which we didn't mind but 25 minutes into our wait we were told the chips were frozen chips and not homemade.the hastings are known for lovely homemade chips, they asked if we wanted to cancel order but by this time we were hungry and had an impatient toddler with us. Food came out and it wasn't great, the combo burger had rock hard chicken and a stale bun and of course frozen chips. I waited for our plates to be taken away and usually the waitress asks if meal was ok but we waited that long we just left.i wasnt willing to go to the bar to complain because it embarrassing so we left. Don't think we will eat in here again. Cant complain about the staff because they are lovely but food not the best."

"We had the most delicious risotto EVER. LITERALLY everyone would love the wonderful taste of this. The beef ribeye steak stew was fab as well. Very charming staff this place is full character. The owner loves antique collecting in fact he will sell something if you like it.Great coffee and cakes and of course they are an old bakery so the homemade bread is delicious"

"My friends and I went to this lovely restaurant/bar this afternoon. We tried the delicious seafood pasta (called rock pasta), which was fresh and cooked in a delightful garlic tomato sauce. The hot chocolate was also a winner, not too heavy on the whipped cream like usual. The staff were friendly and amazing. The only downside was the soup, which tasted like curry with an abundance of veggies. The restaurant is conveniently located next to the tourist information center in Oban, so make sure to stop by when you're in town."

"We had a wonderful experience with the home-cooked takeout from Rockleigh Takeaway. This was our first time trying their offerings, and it came highly recommended by friends who had already visited three times that week. We were not disappointed! We ordered a variety of dishes including Thai Fish Curry, Beef Stroganoff, Chilli con Carne, Bolognese Nachos, Gluten-Free Brownie, Sticky Toffee Pudding, and Ginger Pudding. Everything was absolutely fantastic—delicious and fresh, with generous portions. If I had known how delectable the desserts would be, I definitely would have ordered extra! To top it all off, there's a lovely spot just a few minutes down the road towards Woolacombe where you can enjoy your meal while taking in a beautiful sunset. I highly recommend it!"

"One word describes Avanti and it 's Quality , quite simply a first class restaurant. When you walk in you realise that no expense has been spared there and all the staff are very professional, efficient, helpful and polite. Now then the food, they are on a limited menu at the moment so we had garlic bread, salad and pizza, we didn 't have wine we had a peroni because it was a little early in the day for wine but I must mention that I only drink Italian wine and one look at some of the labels desplayed Quality . All served in a unique courtyard."

"We visited this restaurant for the first and last time as it was my husband’s birthday and I wanted to treat him. At the time of booking (online) there was an option to give them additional information and I entered that it was my husband’s birthday. On arrival the restaurant was empty and I told who I assumed was the person in charge that we had a reservation. He checked his computer and indicated that the waitress would show us to our table, she walked in front of us put menus on a table and walked away! No can I take your coats or even move a chair out. We had to put our coats over our chair and sit down, after about 10 minutes the person in charge asked what we wanted to drink and also took our meal order. After around 15 minutes we received our drinks, they had been poured for about 10 minutes and were sitting on the bar whilst they both had an extensive conversation. Shortly afterwards the starters arrived. I ordered bruschetta I was a very large portion but I couldn’t eat most of it as in my opinion it was old stale bread that had been toasted, I couldn’t get my knife through it, I could only eat the middle and that was due to the fact it was saturated in olive oil and the garlic was quite overpowering. I love garlic but this was too much on a starter. My husband had arancini which found dry and in his opinion consisted of the wrong type of rice. The waitress just lifted our plates away didn’t ask if all was okay and continued her conversation with the person in charge. Our main course arrived my husband said that his tagliatelle papalina was okay although the portion size was quite small. I had the fusilli con Gorgonzola and was struggling to taste the cheese, the walnuts were whole and too many. During the main course I requested another soft drink, again this took an age, as they were chatting and inattentive. I actually had to ask the waitress to bring it off of the bar, she had forgotten about it, my meal was nearly finished. Again plates were cleared and no opinions were asked for on the meal. I requested our bill, it arrived with 2 sweets one of which looked like it had been taken out of the wrapper sooked and put back in. I pointed this out to the waitress and she said she would get me another one as it looked disgusting and she wouldn’t eat it, I told her not to bother. Even as we were leaving we we not asked if we enjoyed our meal or making any reference to my husband’s birthday. It has been a very long time since we have had such poor service and customer care and the food was so disappointing. I always like to support local businesses, however, I would not return to this restaurant."

"I came here today with my two young boys and I have to say, the woman behind the counter (who I believe was management) was an absolutely disgusting human being and in a foul mood. She had brunette hair, glasses and her attitude made me want to walk away. The only single most important reason I didn’t, is because my eldest son is autistic and it would have completely thrown him off balance as he was looking forward to dining here for a week. There was lady and her daughter in front of us in the queue and we were waiting for the bar to switch from breakfast to lunch. The food bar then opened up and the lady asked for a panini for her daughter. The woman behind the counter snapped at her that there wasn’t any and that the signs shouldn’t be out. The customer was still very polite and asked for something else. The worker/manager then snapped even more aggressively that there’s none left and that she hasn’t had time to change the signs around and it’s not her fault. The worker then proceeded to reel off a massive list of what they do have available and was really sarcastic to the customer. The customer was nothing but polite and submissive to this woman, I felt really bad for her and was about to say something and then the worker started arguing with a male worker, grey hair, glasses behind the counter and being verbally abusive to him. It was disgusting and I don’t think she should be the first person you see when you visit this Café, her attitude was honestly one of the worst I’ve witnessed. In complete contrast to this, there was a waitress, middle aged with dark hair and glasses seating people and cleaning tables. She grabbed a high chair for one of my boys and she carried my tray of food and drinks to the table as she could see I had my hands full pushing a pram and with my other boy. I see this lady every time I’ve been here for food and she’s absolutely lovely, nothing is too much trouble and her customer service is second to none. She’s the type of lady you want working in this establishment. I won’t be returning here sadly. I’ve never had an issue before and the food has always been nice, but that worker really made me angry."

"VIEW VIBE VALET The friends who invited us made a reservation well in advance. I don't know if they requested a terrace table, but the view was EXCELLENT! As soon as we drove in and saw the banner stating the best cocktails in Burbank we were happy to accept the challenge. Truth be told, the cocktails were so excellent I wished they were taller. The view here is exceptional, especially during sunset. Not only do you have a romantic one of a kind view of Burbank, but you can also see planes from Burbank Airport landing and taking off from one of the shortest runways in the world in the distance. As soon as we entered we felt the establishment had curated the entire restaurant to take in the views, but there's a lot of nice detail to admire on the way to your seats, especially the lighting in and around the bar area. We did valet for which was great for that old Hollywood feeling. They do have non valet parking next to the valet. You just have to ask. The parking lot fills up pretty fast as people like to stay and linger and for good reason. The drinks, food, and music is energetic. We ordered a cheese board for the table, which was great for small talk grazing. I ordered a Caesar salad and asked for chicken to be added. It was quite delicious. The waiter was wonderful at suggesting drinks and dinner options. He was bright, energetic, and professional. I definitely feel like we'll come here again. "

"For me a trip to Cornwall has to include a trip to Fifteen, so I went twice in three days. Once for a great evening meal, with a beautiful sunset and surfers to watch. The service was outstanding, the Bramble cocktail was amazing and the steak was cooked to perfection. Then back for a cheeky lunch was a very nice Lavender lemonade and a plate of mussels. Will back again at the end of the summer for more great dining and waves ‍"

"I had my first visit to this amazing hidden gem of a restaurant. It was immaculately clean with a small yet fantastic menu. I ordered a large bolognaise which we enjoyed later that same night and it was absolutely delicious. The restaurant definitely lives up to its standards without any faults. I will definitely be visiting again."

"Having worked in st annes for a few years I believe I have tried most cafés and sandwich shops. I can honestly say that this one is always my number 1 choice. They have a different tasty special everyday, nice milky frothy coffee and always served with a smile and enthusiasm! If I don't fancy the special I can always rely on a simple sandwich or a beautiful pulled pork wrap which Is always standard on their menu."
