"Beautiful designed restaurant and bar near Leicester Square serving Aegean inspired dishes. We had Seabass Ceviche, Saganaki cheese with truffle honey, Taramasalata Tzatziki dips to start and for mains the sliced Roast Chicken with barley, and graviera cheese and Pastichio which is a Greek baked pasta with king oyster mushrooms and a cheese sauce. For dessert we shared the Lokma , fried dough balls with thyme honey, walnuts, and served with Madagascan vanilla ice cream. A very filling sweet! Prices are high but it is a central location and a good place for a date night and there is good music with different DJs"

"that was my first time in the city souvlaki and definitiw the last thing that is a scandal, because eating was nice, we couldn't blame it. I wish that could be said about the waitress. Every time she came to our table, she rolled her eyes and she saw it to other guests too, but not the ones that she knew we were creeping. I am a Greek cypriot, but I shouldn't flicker to get good service. a good service should be given to everyone, regardless of where they come from."

"Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and offered a spot on their lovely outside terrace, which was perfect given the warm evening. Our waiter was prompt and took our drink orders right away, ensuring they arrived in no time. With impressive knowledge of the menu, he quickly provided us with his recommendations. We chose the Meat mezze for two, and the food was truly exceptional. From the selection of pita and dips to the beef stifado and moussaka, each course was even better than the last. For dessert, we indulged in traditional baklava and enjoyed a Greek coffee, which was the perfect finale. Overall, our experience at Taverna was fantastic, and we cannot recommend it highly enough. It's a must-visit place when you find yourself in Harrogate!"

"The White Horse Edgworth is a friendly country pub located in the beautiful village of Edgworth in the West Pennine Moors. They offer real good value food and have a fully refurbished bar and dining area. They are open from Monday to Sunday, with varying hours depending on the day. Most days have live music which adds to the atmosphere and is also dog friendly which is a big help to walkers in the area. "Having grown up with Greek cooking in always a bit dubious of greek restaurants but this place is the exception, with pastitchio like my yaya used to make and so many other delicious dishes to choose from I always struggle with what to order as there are too many good options.Kosmos has been running for many years and rightly so. "we turned up for an early evening meal when there was a child party and singer. at the time of booking we no longer knew about the event. it was very loud, what as a family meant that we couldn't sit and talk. the music began after we had ordered. the personal was friendly and tried to help us, but unfortunately it did not make any difference. nam. Ploy food that was good. I would recommend if they don’t like to check live speakers when eating whether they’re on events before they book or show up."

"Had a really great Xmas party here with a group of friends. Considering their captive audience I'd expect to pay less than £4 for a pint of lemonade. The hosts were lovely, a little frazzled as you can imagine with a full restaurant. The lady felt the need to check the presents I'd given out (ltr bottles of booze) to friends to see they weren't opened. I brushed this off but felt annoyed she picked up the bag herself and didn't ask to be shown. I didn't check if any other table had been treated the same. Like I say, frazzled. The food was fine, very filling. Good luck to them"

"decided to come here as we spend the week before christmas in this area to see shows and go shopping etc. as we have been here last year and my daughter really enjoyed the vegetarian moussaka thought we were back. Unfortunately, they stopped doing this, and the only option for them was a veggie wrap she says was not pleasant. I had a pork and a chicken kewer e strange pommes and an salat that was quite delicious, but the money was not really worth it. service very good and we bought a spinach cake and chicken cake to take away and although it was very little huh in my cake it was really delicious and my daughter said her spinat cake was nice."

"I have been here several times great coffee and good food. Some of the staff were warm and friendly, while others were less so. However, what truly concerned me was witnessing a serious health and safety issue on 24th May around 6:00 PM. A staff member came upstairs from the kitchen with what looked like a cut or burn on his finger. He sat at a table next to the counter, explained the situation to the manager, and then wrapped his injured finger with a purple kitchen cleaning towel — not a sterile dressing — while the manager handed him sellotape to hold it in place. There was no proper first aid provided, and no evidence of a first aid kit being used. It is the legal responsibility of every food business to have a stocked first aid kit on site. Using sellotape and cleaning paper instead of a proper dressing is a serious health and food safety risk, both for the injured staff member and for customers. I also hope that staff are treated with proper care and support — both physically, which did not appear to be the case today, and mentally, as part of a respectful working environment. Not sure how skin irritation can be treated with sellotape and a kitchen towel. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1 Service: Dine in Price per person: £10–20"

"So disappointed! We ordered 2 x regular grill halloumi and vegs, 1 spinach pastry and 1 dessert.When I opened the bag my first impression was only greasy paper bags inside, no a proper take away boxes.Our meal was called: Grilled halloumi and vegs...There were only 1 small slice of halloumi per person, grilled pepper, onions and chips and no yogurt sauce (something they made me angry).They sent us a cheese pastry instead of the spinach one and small dessert portion.I called and they told me that if I wanted more halloumi I should have ordered the larger option, something that made me laugh when the main is called Halloumi with vegs, but wow, only one slice of halloumi per person? Really?I paid £20 and we were still hungry after dinner.Also the packing was a paper bag. If someone is going to eat there then fair enough but for a deliveroo service I expected better quality, it was all messy in the bag.Really bad experience sorry."
