"This fantastic restaurant in the center is a hidden gem. We had the pleasure of dining there three times over the weekend, enjoying delicious late lunches twice and a delightful breakfast. The food is exceptional, and the staff are all wonderful. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and boasts a lovely outdoor seating area."

"Lovely looking place with friendly staff. I ordered the falafel panini which is labelled vegan on the menu. I was happy with the look of the food but noticed coleslaw on my plate. I asked staff whether this was vegan and they told me it wasn't and asked if I wanted it removed. As it didn't touch my panini I was happy to leave it and eat around it, but found this to be quite a serious matter as they are serving apparent vegan food which isn't actually vegan. I hope they can work to swap this on the vegan dishes in the future."

"UPDATE April 2024 we went for lunch and it was delicious. The menu was not extensive (a plus) but was a bit eclectic: I had avocado, feta, and poached eggs on English muffins, which came with pomegranate seeds and was really tasty. My wife ordered a daily special of frittata with spinach and mushrooms, accompanied by rolled grape leaves. The chef came out to ask if she would also like marinated carrots. Our granddaughter had toast with sausage and bacon and her mum had eggs royale. ORIGINAL REVIEW in 2023 We just popped in for coffee so I cannot comment on the food but from what I saw other people having, it looked delicious. The coffee (cappuccino) was excellent. An added bonus is they have loyalty cards. The service was friendly and efficient."

"Though the weather was windy there was sun and we were able to sit in the adorable garden that they have in the back. Lovely little place in the heart of Honiton. The inside is also very quaint and rustic to sit in as well with welcoming staff. I had a delicious Brie and Cranberry toastie while my mother chose an Orange and Pecan cake from one of the many options on display. Very delicious, highly recommend."

"A thoroughly unpleasant start to the morning. I approached the hot counter and marvelled at all the delicious-looking food, not knowing exactly what it all was. I have to be careful about my allergies, so I asked for help from the man at the till.I pointed at a curly pastry and began saying, 'What 's in this curly... ' He cut me off and said gruffly: 'Mixed vegetables. ' I was surprised but proceeded. 'What kind of vegetables? ' His reply was short and aggressive: 'All kinds. 'I was disappointed by his response, so moved on to the pie next to the pastry. 'How about this one? ' He made a loud huffing noise and sighed: 'Mixed. Vegetables. ' Again I asked: 'But what kind of vegetables? ' He shrugged his shoulders and shouted. 'All kinds! 'I found his attitude really confusing and realised that he had assumed I was pointing at the pie both times. He assumed this because he didn 't have any patience with me: he clearly wanted me out his way as he had 'better things ' to deal with.I was so frustrated that I picked up a pie and paid for it without a word. He had his 'uh-oh ' moment and suddenly started giving me wonderful customer service, saying the food was delicious and that I should try it all, and everything was lovely. Whatever. I 'm still going to complain about you to your boss, mate.In a time when businesses are taking a massive hit in sales, I really don 't think high-street bakeries can afford to treat customers with zero respect as if they 're just pesky flies that get in the way of routine paperwork (he had a little clipboard). Because I 'm not coming back to spend my money here. And I 'm going to tell everybody I know in Camden not to go back and spend their money there. The question remains, though: why couldn 't he just tell me the pie had broccoli and potato???"

"We were looking for somewhere to have a coffee and snack and really enjoyed delicious cheese, bacon chive scones and nice hot coffee. There was no fuss about warming up the scones either, which you sometimes get these days! We had some ‘banter’ with the owner, Chris who was very cheerful and obliging. There is plenty of seating which isn’t obvious when you first walk in, so if it’s sunny keep on walking until you find the lovely outdoor area. Would like to return for a proper meal as it all looked good."

"Tucked away in a corner I found a gem! Bursting with flavours and the combination of sharp-sweet dijon and honey mustard along with the slices of juicy pastrami beef and tangy pickles… Did I mention the melted cheese… woooohhhooo… It was all playing the medley in between the sourdough bread slices…. YummmmDo try the jerk chicken sarnie as well… The spice level is just on point and the smokey flavours of the jerk… mmmmm The people are super friendly and they have a book corner, board games, indoor and outdoor facilities which are perfect for chilling on a sunny day or a lazy rainy afternoon… go check them out!"

"Very nice mugs of tea and a great latte. Two sandwiches ordered cheese salad and tuna mayo. Good quality bread, thick filling, lovely ingredients, generous size. Scone and jam was tasty (but would be nice to have the butter at spreadable temperature). Staff are so happy and friendly and the prices are sensible. Plenty of seats outside in a little courtyard, with some covered areas and parasols for shade. No loos but there are public conveniences available close by and if you are visiting the museum, there are plenty in there."

"I am a little disappointed to be honest! My partner and I are moving to Scotland and we needed energy for the move! This is the best breakfast I’ve had hands down in Harrogate! I discover it the day before I move! This world is a cruel place ! Just want to say thank you so much. It’s amazing to see how much you guys care about the food you make, the bread is incredible and the ingredients perfection!! Thank you so much. Ps debating if a six hour journey is acceptable for a bacon and egg sandwich."

"Great place. Very nice cup of cappuccino, must be the best in Stoneleigh and one of the top in the surrounding area. I enjoyed my my Avocado, Feta and Poached eggs on muffin 6.50). Forgot to take a picture, but very nicely presented and flavours are perfect. Kids apple juice for 1 is always a winner. Croissants are ok, but if you are really picky with quality of your pastry, you may be a tiny bit disappointed (disclosure my son loved it so I am probably being to harsh.. Decor is fantastic atmosphere is nice and warm and owners are very friendly and hospitable! Thinking of making this my regular Friday morning spot. Lovely place."

"I used to frequent this restaurant many years ago, when there was also a location on South Orange Ave. I would always order brisket, corned beef, or pastrami sandwiches. This was my first visit in about 10 years and I found the place to be located in a sketchy area that made me feel a bit uncomfortable. The limited menu is posted on the back of one of the doors. They also serve liquor, which is kept behind a steel gate, and the register is covered with what looks like bulletproof plastic. The staff, including the owner Cooper who took my order and made my sandwich, were friendly and accommodating. The sandwiches are priced at around $13 but are filled with a generous amount of meat and come with two small pickles. The portions are large enough to be split into two meals. I opted for the pastrami Reuben which was delicious as usual. I give this place 4 stars because of the tasty sandwiches and the friendly staff."

"This restaurant has undergone significant changes since the previous owner left. The prices have increased, the sandwiches now come with thinner bread compared to the delicious seeded bread they used to have. It's puzzling why they would change something that was so good before. The soup is still delicious, but the portion size has decreased along with the bread, leaving you feeling hungry. The hot chocolate is also priced the same as Costa, but the quality is not as good. It's disappointing to see the decline in quality for the prices they are charging. We have been loyal customers for years, but we will not be returning. The staff doesn't seem interested in providing good service, and it's sad to see how the restaurant has changed."

"Bought a over priced cold jacket potatoe for lunch. No gloves worn, so handling food with her bare hands. Picking up the jacket potatoe (proves how cold it was) and the salad with her fingers. The salad looked like it had been left out all day uncovered. Paid £4.80 for it go straight in the bin. Really should have refused it. My mistake, will not be going back again!!!"
