"When I first saw the menu, I had some fears that the place would be a sort of throwback to the 1970s, so reminiscent was it of the sort of choice offered back then. But I needn't have worried: Mother Hubbard's is a hidden gem, with fresh food and professional service in smart surroundings. We had a lovely waitress called Lily who was friendly and well-informed. The food was served quickly and was easily the freshest fish and chips I've ever had. Portions are not so big that you have to leave some, as in some competitors, and the prices are good value."

"This restaurant is a hidden gem within the Forth Valley College. The food is cooked by the catering students but was much better than I've eaten in some other expensive restaurants. The quality and presentation of the whole meal was fantastic. Beautifully cooked and very tasty. Where else would you have a 3 course lunch for £12. Drink prices are also very reasonable. Service was quick and the table staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely will be visiting more often. Booking essential. Parking: Reserved for restaurant spaces in the College car park."

"This restaurant offers delicious high-quality food and excellent service. I thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast sausage sandwich with chili jam, which kept me satisfied all day. While parking is free along the long road, finding a spot may require some searching. I recommend dining in for a brunch experience. The price per person ranges from £10 to £20. Overall, I rate the food, service, and atmosphere a perfect 5 out of 5."

"Called in the other morning after a busy night at work and had a cracking English breakfast with a proper cup of tea in a proper sized mug/cup. Very friendly and attentive staff. Had a look at the home made cakes and decided on a home made peach melba, only to find out they were all sold out by 0900hrs. Will get their earlier next time. £6:40 gets you a full English with bacon, sausage, eggs, mushrooms, toms beans with toast and tea. Well worth the price for the quality and service. My wife and daughter visit quite often, but this was my first time. Will definitely be back to get my cake.. Whist I was visiting the staff were preparing a buffet for a private outside function that afternoon. Everything was fresh and looked delicious. The caldron of broth with fresh bead buns was a nice touch."
