"After trekking a couple of miles to find a fish and chip shop which didn't meet our requirements, my best buddy Tom and I decided to settle with coming here instead for a quick bite to eat before hitting the road. The meal wasn't groundbreaking, hence the 3 stars. The service was very good and waiters really friendly charming, in fact. The food of course is typical of an Italian chain I have travelled Italy extensively so I'm somewhat of a critic when it comes to authentic Italian food. So I was shocked to see they were selling inauthentic pizzas and pasta dishes for over £15. In Italia, you can get a delicious margherita for 6 euro. Anyway, I digress. Despite being slightly overpriced, the pasta I chose was nice, if a little forgettable. Tom enjoyed his calzone and salad, which included green tomatoes."

"First of all, 10/10. We booked this for the Thursday night as we were in Bristol for the night, lovey location. Arrived at Prezzo to be seated at the back of the restaurant, we knew what we wanted as pre looked at the menu. I...had meatballs my partner had bruschetta for starters, outstanding. Then I had the bacon double burger she had the margeritha pizza, again lovey good quality food. Would highly recommend visiting here again due to the quality of service and food."

"We tried four different restaurants to reach Suffolk foodhall, Oyster, Harvester, all too busy on a Saturday morning 10:00 and then my daughter suggested, try Frankie and Benny's. I wish we had tried Frankie and Benny's first, and they were really quiet. He went in. We ordered the food. Quickly got out. The staff is beautiful, beautiful atmosphere. I didn't know it was still open and food came out. Breakfast was delicious for £10.50 full English breakfast eggs. Sausage Toast black pudding beans mushrooms all beautiful Bacon was beautiful. There were 11 of us. The young lady who served us was really beautiful. I couldn't do enough for us. We sit and look around. Really good. Good atmosphere if you want something nice to eat and good atmosphere. good, clean experience. Try honestly and Benny is still open. Still good food well enjoyed it"

"I recently dined at Francie Bennys in Coventry and it was absolutely terrible. Let me tell you a joke – I would have been better off going to Burger King instead. I ordered a cajun chicken sandwich which came with fries and coleslaw. When the food arrived, the coleslaw was soggy and I couldn't even bring myself to eat it. The portion of fries was so small, I could count them – there were exactly 23. The chicken sandwich was also disappointing as it was served stone cold. It seemed like they had just reheated a pre-cooked chicken breast in the microwave for 20 seconds before serving it. The sandwich cost £9.95 and a coke was £2.10, making a total of £12.05 for a meal that even a dog wouldn't want to eat. I didn't want to cause a scene by complaining, but I definitely won't be returning."

"We visit Frankie Benny's fairly regularly, and are always fairly pleased with the service and food provided. Just lately, we have been having to wait for a table, and have noted that others seem to get seated prior to us for no apparent reason, so I chose to pre book a table in order to negate the wait I was totally unimpressed with the waste of time that Open Table were the booking wasn't known to F B's, and the entire thing was a waste of my time F B's GOOD, Open Table RUBBISH"

"Made a booking for 7pm as wasn’t sure how busy it would be and didn’t want to be turned away. Arrived 6.50pm and taken straight to table. 7pm drinks order taken. 7.20pm food order taken. Meal didn’t arrive until 8pm. Food was great and just what we ordered however the long wait ruined the enjoyment. It looked like a lot of take away orders were being prioritised above sit ins which is a disappointment. We had made the effort to attend in person and would have gladly spent more money here but the wait put us off. I wouldn’t rush back here and I wouldn’t recommend to family and friends as I wouldn’t want them to be disappointed. Sad to think that higher management may see a decline in footfall and close store because of this but the truth is people do wish to visit for a sit in meal but the poor service is off putting."

"After a disappointing experience at a pizza restaurant with unfriendly staff, we were relieved to have a wonderful meal at Pizza Express. There were eight of us, some of us very hungry and on the verge of hangriness. We were greeted by a waitress with a big smile who quickly seated us. The staff was fantastic and made us feel welcome and relaxed. The pizzas were delicious and perfectly made, the pasta was cooked perfectly, and the desserts were delightful. The restaurant was bright, airy, and clean. Our waiter was exceptional, attentive, and observant. He even quickly replaced a dropped dough ball without us even noticing. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would definitely return. We give this restaurant a top rating."

"Our daughter has never in the past years been home for her birthday due to commitments in the first weeks of the school holidays and is only home for an evening in the middle ao we wanted to something special for her (albeit a couple of days early) We were picking her up from near Derby so we thought a trip on the way home to Sheffield would be a good idea. I found F&B restaurants in the area and plumped for this one. I booked for at and relaxed. Until the day before when I could not find the confirmation. So I booked again. The discovered with horror the first confirmation in my junk items. I promptly cancelled that one but then panicked that it would be construed as both being cancelled. As we had a cake I popped in before we went to pick her up. The staff were great, took the cake off me and reassured me that the booking was there. Off I went. Next panic came at when we realised we were running early. I needn't have worried. A quick call to the restaurant confirmed we could get there early. When we arrived there was only one other group sitting. This would ordinarily have worried me but after the fantastic service so far it didn't. First thoughts turned to a banner, not asked for, but so thoughtful saying birthday girl Never had that at a F&B before but wow, my daughter's face lit up. Should have said earlier that she has no clue we had planned this. Balloons galore at a corner table and we settled in. Great that we were not pressed to decide our food, bit could take our time. The waitress explained that they did not have any pineapple so Hawaiian pizza was off the menu. But she helpfully offered alternatives and we ordered. The meals came together and were hot (unlike my last F&B experience in Scunthorpe). The pizzas of us), lasagne and burger were well cooked and everyone tooked in. The obligatory is everything ok visit came but not before we had had chance to eat something and also a request for a top up of drink was met speedily (again Scunthorpe take note). Puddings again arrived promptly and together (yes this does matter) and after a nod the cake arrived. A great early evening for us s we headed home happy. Thank you to the team at F&Bs Manor Road, Derby for making one birthday girl feel extremely happy and one dad the most happy he has been with a dining experience for a long long time. Just please stock up on pineapple for next time (haha)"

"Went in for an early dinner at 11.30am, but were told they don't take orders for dinner until 12pm. We just sat at a table, had drinks and chatted for a bit so it wasn't a problem. I had macaroni cheese with bacon and my nephews ordered off the kids menu. Good selection on the kids menu, usually it's about four things, but there's had a much larger choice which was good. My Mum had the caeser salad. Food was very tasty and came in good time. The lady who served us was chatty, friendly and very smiley. Good experience all round."

"Having originally gone to the Crafty Dragon pub nearby and left due to not getting our food after an hour wait, we went here and could not have received better service! On arrival we asked the manageress if there was a wait on food because we had waited for over an hour elsewhere. We were informed that there was no wait but she also brought us free dough balls after we were seated before we even ordered anything to help calm our appetites! From here we continued to receive fantastic service, letting us know which meals would take longer to make and they checked on us regularly throughout our visit. Food was brought quickly and tasted great! I don't normally write reviews but felt this restaurant deserved a mention as it is the best restaurant experience we have had for a long time!"

"Came here with family after the cinema since we'd heard good things and we're glad we did. It was quiet, so no wait for a table. "Now as most people who know me are aware that this girl loves her burgers, can't get enough of them I'm always willing to try new varieties etc. I ordered online from Frankie Benny's a burger chips with a starter. It was delivered on time it was still quite warm, just not hot. Which was okay as at least it wasn't cold it was being delivered approx 4 miles from the restaurant to my home. It arrived in a box which opens up like a plate saved me having to use anything else apart from my fingers to eat with. The burger was nicely cooked after I removed the soggy lettuce tomato I demolished it very quickly. A girl who loves her food says Yummmm!! Chips were a little hard for me, as they had lost heat in their travels so I didn't eat them. I have visited Frankie Benny's many many times I've always enjoyed the food their drinks. The staff are friendly helpful. You can also see into their open kitchen to see the food being prepared. I do recommend this place for you to try. Have an awesome day!! "My friend and I booked a table here prior to the theatre. The restuarant was empty apart from a few tables. We were directed over to sit next to another couple who may have been on a date. We also wanted privacy. This was a little awkward to have to ask sit somewhere else when there was space in abundance. As it was very very quiet in volume it would not have been fair on the existing couple. Had it been busy our conversations would have been drowned out. However, the waitress sought 'permission ' to re seat us. I 'm not sure they understood the point as we were re seated next to a table of four however this was less intimate! I raise the point not as a criticism merely an observation. The garlic bread I had to start was absolutely fantastic. Hot and full of flavour and not dripping in oil! A , The hummus my friend ordered was amazing. Subtle and I will order this next time. I had the chicken and mushrooms. The sauce was a delight. A . I was unsure about this restaurant but the food and service irrespective of the seating at the start certainly attracts me back. Recommended."

"that was just a normal place to eat, we would eat here again; No. the service was mediocre, there were so many children at the point that it was difficult to hear the other person who spoke to them. when they made a birthday song, they played the music so loud that it was too much in a restaurant. the bathroom looked like it had not been touched in hours, maybe all afternoon, no toilet paper in one of the stands."
