"After booking a table well in advance, arrived at the restaurant to be told we didn’t have a booking. We were then placed at a table and a waiter, who can’t speak or understand English, took our drinks order. Having placed the drinks order, we waited in anticipation for it to arrive, when the wine and beer arrived there was one beer short. Having waited we then had to go to the front and ask for it. The waiter then got totally confused and brought more beer than was requested anyway that was sorted. We order the spicy wings that is advertised with a blue cheese dipping and of course get told there is no blue cheese dipping . The main meal seemed to go off without problems. However, we had to continually ask for the empty glasses to be removed to make place for the plates. Then we get to dessert where a restaurant doesn’t have cream to make an Irish Coffee. So all in all Frankie Benny will not see us there again"

"First of all, 10/10. We booked this for the Thursday night as we were in Bristol for the night, lovey location. Arrived at Prezzo to be seated at the back of the restaurant, we knew what we wanted as pre looked at the menu. I...had meatballs my partner had bruschetta for starters, outstanding. Then I had the bacon double burger she had the margeritha pizza, again lovey good quality food. Would highly recommend visiting here again due to the quality of service and food."

"We tried four different restaurants to reach Suffolk foodhall, Oyster, Harvester, all too busy on a Saturday morning 10:00 and then my daughter suggested, try Frankie and Benny's. I wish we had tried Frankie and Benny's first, and they were really quiet. He went in. We ordered the food. Quickly got out. The staff is beautiful, beautiful atmosphere. I didn't know it was still open and food came out. Breakfast was delicious for £10.50 full English breakfast eggs. Sausage Toast black pudding beans mushrooms all beautiful Bacon was beautiful. There were 11 of us. The young lady who served us was really beautiful. I couldn't do enough for us. We sit and look around. Really good. Good atmosphere if you want something nice to eat and good atmosphere. good, clean experience. Try honestly and Benny is still open. Still good food well enjoyed it"

"we approached the writing and asked for a table of 6 to say: "Don't worry about anything until 8 o'clock". that was around 6.05 clock, the restaurant was half empty ... so we went online for 6.15 clock with open re-entered ... told them we had a reservation, observed “some heated words”. between the staff and we were taken to a perfectly empty table for 6. just 50 minutes waiting for our food. that said our server was friendly and apologetic. eating was ok, 2 pizzas, 3 calzones and a sirloin steak, that was definitiw rump, as it was to think and took hard to sirloin! to the happiness we have a taste card so that the meal with a softdrink cost only £10 per head, and we were limited due to a cinema booking for time. lection learned book before entering, and use it taste card, not sure that I would have paid the bill in full amount, we had not discounted!"

Just lately, we have been having to wait for a table, and have noted that others seem to get seated prior to us for no apparent reason, so I chose to pre book a table in order to negate the wait I was totally unimpressed with the waste of time that Open Table were the booking wasn't known to F B's, and the entire thing was a waste of my time F B's GOOD, Open Table RUBBISH"

"I recently dined at Francie Bennys in Coventry and it was absolutely terrible. Let me tell you a joke – I would have been better off going to Burger King instead. I ordered a cajun chicken sandwich which came with fries and coleslaw. When the food arrived, the coleslaw was soggy and I couldn't even bring myself to eat it. The portion of fries was so small, I could count them – there were exactly 23. The chicken sandwich was also disappointing as it was served stone cold. It seemed like they had just reheated a pre-cooked chicken breast in the microwave for 20 seconds before serving it. The sandwich cost £9.95 and a coke was £2.10, making a total of £12.05 for a meal that even a dog wouldn't want to eat. I didn't want to cause a scene by complaining, but I definitely won't be returning."

"At Frankie & Benny’s, you get what you pay for. The meals are very affordable, and it is understood that the quality matches the price. We started with the BBQ chicken wings, which were generously coated in sauce and tasted great. For our main courses, we had pizza and a hot dog. I especially enjoyed my goat cheese pizza, although the crust was a bit disappointing as it was still raw in some spots. The waiter was friendly and enthusiastic at our table, but the service was quite slow. The waitress apologized multiple times but didn’t provide any explanation for the delays. We also had to order our drinks ourselves, and it took a while for the food to arrive. We thought we had plenty of time for coffee before heading to the cinema, but we ended up paying the bill as soon as the drinks arrived because we were concerned about the wait. Overall, it was a pleasant experience."

"Made a booking for 7pm as wasn’t sure how busy it would be and didn’t want to be turned away. Arrived 6.50pm and taken straight to table. 7pm drinks order taken. 7.20pm food order taken. Meal didn’t arrive until 8pm. Food was great and just what we ordered however the long wait ruined the enjoyment. It looked like a lot of take away orders were being prioritised above sit ins which is a disappointment. We had made the effort to attend in person and would have gladly spent more money here but the wait put us off. I wouldn’t rush back here and I wouldn’t recommend to family and friends as I wouldn’t want them to be disappointed. Sad to think that higher management may see a decline in footfall and close store because of this but the truth is people do wish to visit for a sit in meal but the poor service is off putting."

"Went in for an early dinner at 11.30am, but were told they don't take orders for dinner until 12pm. We just sat at a table, had drinks and chatted for a bit so it wasn't a problem. I had macaroni cheese with bacon and my nephews ordered off the kids menu. Good selection on the kids menu, usually it's about four things, but there's had a much larger choice which was good. My Mum had the caeser salad. Food was very tasty and came in good time. The lady who served us was chatty, friendly and very smiley. Good experience all round."

"We brought a group of 60 children and 7 staff members to have dinner at Frankie and Benny's in Peterborough (Fengate) and we were extremely impressed by our experience. It can be challenging to have so many 10 to 11 year olds in a restaurant, but we can honestly say that the 2 hours we spent there were fantastic. The food was excellent, it arrived quickly, was served efficiently, and was absolutely delicious. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that every child had a great time, and the adults were also very impressed. Every member of the staff worked tirelessly, particularly 'Ben' who made a great effort to engage with the children and talk to them. The complimentary Pokémon cards given to the children were a nice touch as well! 10/10 service! Thank you."

"Now as most people who know me are aware that this girl loves her burgers, can't get enough of them I'm always willing to try new varieties etc. I ordered online from Frankie Benny's a burger chips with a starter. It was delivered on time it was still quite warm, just not hot. Which was okay as at least it wasn't cold it was being delivered approx 4 miles from the restaurant to my home. It arrived in a box which opens up like a plate saved me having to use anything else apart from my fingers to eat with. The burger was nicely cooked after I removed the soggy lettuce tomato I demolished it very quickly. A girl who loves her food says Yummmm!! Chips were a little hard for me, as they had lost heat in their travels so I didn't eat them. I have visited Frankie Benny's many many times I've always enjoyed the food their drinks. The staff are friendly helpful. You can also see into their open kitchen to see the food being prepared. I do recommend this place for you to try. Have an awesome day!! "The restaurant experience was very disappointing. Upon arrival, they claimed that there was no booking under my name despite providing confirmation. Eventually, we were seated after a 20-minute wait but the service was so slow that we ended up waiting 2 hours before leaving. When the desserts finally arrived, they assured us that the child's dessert would be ready in 2 minutes. However, we had all finished our desserts and had to remind them about my son's dessert, which still hadn't been served. Overall, I would not recommend visiting this restaurant again."

"My family and I visited the restaurant on Friday using two Groupons. Our waitress Aya was very attentive and informed us of the limitations. Despite arriving during a busy time, she took great care of us. The food was delicious, but the steak on my mixed grill was undercooked. However, they kindly removed the cost of our drinks from the bill. The service was excellent, the food was good, and the environment was perfect for families. We will definitely return!"
