A moist and sweet cake topped with caramelized pineapple slices and cherries, baked to a golden perfection.

"Mmmmmm. Used to be a really good Sunday roast before COVID. Went in a while back , last month and have to say. While the portion size is good, the veg was a huge disappointment, I’d almost say lazy cooking. Potatoes were warm, meat was hot, veg was just. disappointingly boring and like they had just scaped together what was left in the fridge, and it was warmish, but not hot. Service was great, but not good enough to get you back. The price is high, if the quality is there then would be worth it. I actually had a much better Sunday roast two weeks before in Middletons! Guess I’ll head elsewhere till the quality improves."

"We booked via Open Table on the day (for that evening) and received the confirmation e-mail. Unfortunately when we arrived we were told there was no booking for us as when booking via Open Table, the bookings do not come through /checked by restaurant until the following day,! So others beware ! We waited at the bar as they said a table would not be long-it was in the end about 40 mins. Food was quite tasty, no bread with starter of smoked salmon available as run out."

"I visited this restaurant on Saturday (27/10/18) for brunch with my partner. We were very excited as the reviews were quite good. Overall the food was ok, but not amazing, and there were barely any options for people who do not like spicy food. The real problem came when I ordered a coffee and found a hair, floating in it. This was incredibly off putting. I realise that things like this happen but, although, the staff were apologetic, I was given a replacement coffee which I then still had to pay for. I think that good customer service would have taken the coffee off the bill or would have at least offered to do so. There are too many brunch places in London to risk going to this one and not being offered proper customer service. I have had lesser issues at other venues and have been treated much better. Not worth the money."

"This restaurant review in English is: "Five stars all the way! The Pudding Pantry is a hipster coffee shop that isn't too pretentious. It was founded by three friends who share a passion for coffee.""

"I recently celebrated birthdays with friends at Monty's Wine Bar and Restaurant for their Sunday lunch. Once again, they impressed with their delicious food and excellent service. The staff were attentive and friendly without being overbearing, and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the Portsmouth area. It's only a 15-minute walk or a 5-minute taxi ride from Portsmouth station, but it's definitely worth the trip. The decor is charming, with a beautiful bar at the entrance and a cozy dining room at the back. Even though the dining room looks formal, it felt welcoming and relaxing. If Monty's had a location in London, I would definitely become a regular customer."

"The food was reasonable, although the meat in my steak pie was a bit fatty and the carrots were rock hard. We were sitting about as far away from the door as you could get, but unfortunately we were directly in line with the door, so it was a bit chilly. Service was great apart from waiting ages for our desserts. Normally the wait wouldn’t have bothered me, but we were going downstairs to see a band,so were having to keep an eye on the time. Staff were lovely though. I liked that we were given a carafe of water straight away without having to ask for it. We were seated in the bar area, so quite a noisy place. Not the best for trying to have a conversation, but it has a lively atmosphere. Overall a reasonably priced menu for a city venue and I would probably eat there again."
