"Mmmmmm. Used to be a really good Sunday roast before COVID. Went in a while back , last month and have to say. While the portion size is good,the veg was a huge disappointment, I’d almost say lazy cooking. Potatoes were warm, meat was hot, veg was just. disappointingly boring and like they had just scaped together what was left in the fridge, and it was warmish, but not hot. Service was great, but not good enough to get you back. The price is high, if the quality is there then would be worth it. I actually had a much better Sunday roast two weeks before in Middletons! Guess I’ll head elsewhere till the quality improves."

The Old Siege House has become a regular meeting place for lunch with my friend. As usual the service was excellent and the food great. Look forward to seeing you all in the New Year.

A very warm welcome from the front of house. Shown to a nice table right by the open fire (which they were happy to start for us). Cheerful waiting staff. Food was excellent. A thoroughly enjoyable meal.

Always a warm welcome, friendly service and good food. Only tiny criticism would be the fixed lunch menu which does not vary hugely from month to month but there's always something good to tempt the diner.

Staff attentive and polite, service was a bit slow but I’m sure it was because the restaurant was busy. Varied menu selection for a Sunday, good quality, tasty and served piping hot. Restaurant clean and well maintained

Excellent as usual.Lunch for 4 ladies with excellent quality in all aspects. Lunch menu is very good value providing good quality and choice. I have been to this restaurant on numerous other occasions and is so good to find somewhere providing this constant standard.
