"The waitress who took our order was great. The one who came to take our plates away didn't say anything, smile or make eye contact. I mentioned it to my husband and I think the original waitress overheard as she disappeared and shortly after, the second one came back with a smile and offered the dessert menu. We were the only customers in the restaurant. We couldn't believe it when the staff started to do a deep clean of the furniture, dragging chairs out etc. Surely this should be done when there are no customers? The food was excellent though."

"First time I actually wonder into Luton while waiting for someone to land on the local airport. Found this place on Trip Advisor and tried it for breakfast and was not dissapointed! Realy good food, with a twist and quite varied, they seem to have something for everyone in a medium to small menu. The expresso coffee was good as well and the staff top notch. Nice music, to cheer you up in the morning as well."

"I had high hopes as I am a pizza lover, how wrong could I have been. Greeted by a rude member of staff, so not the best start. The cafe was busy, very busy, the tables are very crammed in together and so much so the back of my chair was being hit by every person and memeber of staff walking past....... While trying to order the member of staff seemed more concerned in talking to people walking through the door and other members of staff, a bit annoyed, we still ordered had we had high hopes of some of the best pizza in Devon..... How wrong we were. My pizza was how to put it..... pretty awful, I've had better supermarket own microwave pizza's...... the toppings didn't reach the edge which was VERY dry so that was left. I paid and left, why I paid I have no idea. Rude staff and below par pizza, just don't bother, you will be better off going to Pizza Hut."

"What a gem. On a father and daughter day I was taken for a lunchtime treat Italian restaurant. Tucked away down an unassuming dead-end side street off the market square. Wasn't obvious a restaurant was there, I said are you sure we are going the right way? Led by my daughter we entered il Girasole. A lovely Italian restaurant. Pleasantly greeted we were shown to our prebooked table. We had our starters breads dipping oils and olives. Three different dipping breads, sesamee twist, tomato bread focaccia. Which later, during our main course, we could see the breads being freshly made and baked. Our main, recommend by my daughter whom had been here a few times before, was breaded king prawn linguine with a creamy mushroom and cherry tomato sauce finished with a sprinkle of red chilli. So nice. There was banter with the owner I think, over the grating of this huge block of parmesan cheese. Interior decor is tired if not authentic, adding to the ambience. I am taken by this restaurant and will definitely be returning very soon. Highly recommend. Afterwards, ice cream in hand, we watched a few bands, musicians and artist perform on the market square. "During my absence on my honeymoon over Easter, the owner threatened my staff members, even claiming he would have people come to their homes knowing their addresses. I instructed my team to leave the site for their safety until I returned. Upon my return, I found that the owner had hired someone else to finish the installation without our consent. The owner owed us £11,490 but refused to pay after breaching the contract. This incident caused significant harm to our family business, putting us out of business and impacting our lives greatly. I must also mention that during our time working there, we noticed that all the restaurant's food was frozen, stored in three large freezers. The owner was very particular about this when we had to disconnect the electricals. It is important to warn others to steer clear of this restaurant, as the owner has a history of deceitful behavior not only towards us but also towards other contractors, as we were informed by neighboring businesses. He is an aggressive individual who destroys families. Please do not support this business, as the owner lacks concern for others."

"We hadn't been in ages for a roast but decided to visit on Sunday. How glad were we! The Roast was excellent, beef especially was soft and tender and some of the best I've had. Service was ok but petered out once we had eaten and dessert menus were left in front of us for 30 minutes until we decided we'd just skip it and get the bill and go home to digest. "I had a fantastic meal last night at Kia’s after finally visiting, even though I’ve lived just a minute away for the past four years! The menu offers so many choices that it took me quite a while to decide. I ended up choosing the Pesto Al Verde, which is fettuccine pasta with pesto, garlic, white wine, and cream, topped with pine nuts, arugula, and fresh Parmesan. It was the creamiest pasta I’ve ever tasted—absolutely divine! The portion size was generous, too. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, always eager to help. "Four of us ate here, a bit on the off chance as we had planned to go somewhere else, we were delighted with our find! The staff were warm and friendly, the food was absolutely delicious. A good variety of dishes are offered. All four of us found the food to be really tasty and good value for money. We have visited Italy, my daughter lived in Rome and to quote her, This meal is easily in the top five meals I have eaten . "Came here after ages. Nice branch. Staff are friendly and pleasant. Good service and they had air conditioning on a hot day! You know the menu, pizza, salads, dessert and more! There are not many choices for those who want a pasta. If you do, go elsewhere. A nice variety for those on a vegetarian or vegan diet plus they display nutritional information which is helpful. I had the Leggera Pollo ad Astra. I like the Leggera range which is low calorie and light so you still enjoy a pizza but with less dough and you have salad! A pizza with a hole in the middle. I say salad but it was just rocket leaves, but this was fine. To drink I had a Coca-Cola Zero Sugar. Couldn't fault it. Perfectly made, fresh and presented nicely. I liked the side dressing for the salad too. I asked for just a little ice with my drink and got exactly what I wanted. Can't complain. Clean branch. Half full late afternoon on a Sunday. Staff were attentive and nice, yet at the same time, they allowed diners to eat in peace."

"Usually enjoy the pizza express experience but this is by far the worst restaurant I have visited. The service was shocking! The restaurant was quiet but there were 4/5 staff stood around chatting and on their phones and the only person who seemed to be doing anything was a young girl who advised it was her first day. She was actually the only helpful and polite member of staff there. When asking why it was taking over an hour to get our food the waitress who we finally managed to speak to said ‘why, are you in a rush?’. I mean we didn’t come to the services for a leisurely evening out!! To top it all the food wasn’t up to usual pizza express standard. It seemed we weren’t the only people experiencing issues there last night going by the complaints from the other tables!! Clearly very badly managed"

"We recently had the best Italian food in a long time, if not ever. The restaurant was conveniently located next to our B&B and we were fortunate to snag a table without a reservation. The food was exceptional. The focaccia bread was wonderfully crispy yet soft, and the calamari rings focused on the calamari itself rather than the breading. The standout dishes were the seafood ravioli and tiramisu. The ravioli was filled generously, with velvety pasta and perfectly balanced and seasoned sauce. The tiramisu had the ideal ratio of mascarpone cream to coffee and liqueur-soaked biscuits (usually it can be too heavy with too much mascarpone). Additionally, San Pietro offers an extensive cocktail menu and the service is fast and extremely friendly."

"It has been a while since I last dined at The Dolphin and I have previously enjoyed it. The new floor was slippery and wet, which was a bit concerning. The food was average; my wife and I had the leg of lamb which was well cooked and tasty, but the accompanying pea risotto was not great. The most disappointing aspect was the lack of consideration for disabled customers. The back door, which is usually easier for those with mobility issues, was locked. The front entrance had a couple of steps, making it difficult to navigate. I would suggest installing a slope somewhere to improve accessibility. Additionally, improving the path to the upper car park would instill confidence for those at risk of tripping on uneven ground."
