"The adult menu also has a good variety and is generally quite tasty. We’ve dined here often enough that we’ve experienced a few less-than-stellar meals, but overall, the food is good. The service is very friendly, provided by staff members who have been there for a while, which is uncommon for chain restaurants. There is plenty of parking available, and it's conveniently located right next to the cinema. It's a perfect spot for birthday celebrations too!"

"This was my second time dining here, and once again I faced a long wait for a table. This time it was an hour, and during the wait, we were only offered a drink, which I think should have been complimentary given the lengthy delay. Fortunately, we managed to find a spot to sit while waiting, but many others who arrived after us had to stand around. Honestly, I might have decided to leave if we hadn’t found a place to wait. However, once we were seated, the service and food were good, and the atmosphere was lively. I’d love to return, but the long wait for a table is definitely a turn-off, especially since it happened both times I visited."

"The ‘big bagel’ was nice enough as were the chips. Sweet friendly waitress. Please do not order the nachos-they are flavourless and in my opinion the tortilla chips a little stale. Was a little hard work trying to get someone’s attention for the bill. I think they could do with one more member of staff to keep things running more smoothly eg clearing tables, wiping down seats and supplying the bill more promptly. I voiced my opinion at the time re the nachos but was met with a vacant stare and a ‘no ones ever complained about them before ‘. They bizarrely offered to take 10% off the cost of the nachos. A more commercially savvy response would have been ‘so sorry you didn’t like the nachos Ill take them off the bill as you’ve barely touched them. Hope to see you again next time’ There’s lots of competition in the area who in my opinion offer waaay better service. I believe the owner was behind the counter at the time who took no ownership of the situation-that was a shame but hey ho that’s why some businesses succeed and others don’t stand the test of time."

"As a family of 4 we had a 3 course meal each and it was simply amazing. The steaks were cooked to perfection, the beef stroganoff was so rich and tastful and the carbonara was demolished in 5 minutes. We also had the garlic mushrooms to start, the parma ham dish and the mozzarella which was so good. We decided to have 4 of the desserts so we could all try it...the salted caramel cheesecake, limencello ice cream, chocolate fudge cake and the chocolate profiteroles.... We're just gutted we live 2.5hrs away. The service was amazing and the food was on point!"

"On the plus side, the service was very quick, but it made us feel rushed. As soon as I finished my meal, they immediately took my plate, even though my partner was still eating! When they cleared our starter plates, they asked if we wanted our main courses right away or if we preferred a break. Assuming our food was freshly prepared, we opted for a wait of about 10 minutes, but to our surprise, they brought our mains out within 30 seconds. We were in and out in about 40 minutes, which included a drink, a starter, and a main course. It was not the relaxed dining experience and fresh food we were hoping for! Since it does tend to be busy during the day, perhaps the food and service are better then, but I definitely wouldn’t recommend it for dinner."

"Terribly rude experience from this hotel and its bar, there are many more to visit in London! When you arrive the hotel has its doors locked to guests And does not let any guests in. Do not book a table at the rooftop bar, the lady will give away your booking to footballers because they will pay anything to take your table. The tall security man will take bribes to let friends of footballers in but not let bookings in. The booking woman is very rude and when complaining tells you to direct your complaints to the hotel which gets nowhere, nobody wants to take responsibility so this is a complete waste of time, do not visit. We travelled from Birmingham, paid congestion charge to go to this hotel and this is how we are treated by staff at the rooftop bar and by staff in the hotel."

"I have eaten in so many Italian restaurants, my best friend is Italian and recently came with me to this place too. I have been here about 7-8 times over the past three years and every time they have gotten better and better. Every so often there will be a swing and a miss, I wouldn 't recommend the mushrooms on toast. But everything else, from the pizza to the moussaka to the sides, and starters, are just so homely, clearly made with love and made fresh. The staff are super friendly, sometimes a bit much, but it only makes you feel welcome. The service can be a tad slow on occasion, but then the environment is calm and relaxing and I can 't help but feel at ease here. The Italian restaurant across the road risoranto sorento have positive things to say about this place too and I am happy to go back. If you are happy to enjoy great portions, homely food, friendly service and a nice atmosphere, I recommend this place. I 'm going again tonight for my dad 's birthday :"

"Booked Esca on chance as it was near Glasgow Green and Barrowlands Ballroom. I was not disappointed, as we were shown quickly to our table and had prompt service. We were both able to order easily from the choices on the pre-theatre menu and I was impressed by the vegetarian 'meatballs ' with spaghetti. The bill was very reasonable for the food and wine we enjoyed and I would return!"

"I took my mother to the Two Sisters restaurant for her birthday last Sunday. We were immediately greeted and informed about the brunch options (i.e. buffet versus brunch specials and other adjustments, such as turkey bacon instead of pork). I think this is a great place for a relaxed brunch and definitely for a mother-daughter date. We loved the food and the service. We drove to a Groupon and will definitely drive again without the Groupon. Worth it."

"Disappointing. Has there been a change of chef recently? I used to go to polpetto regularly a year or two ago but I went back today for lunch and couldn't recognise anything on the menu. No maple tart for dessert for example and the waiter had never heard of it. It used to be one of their signature dishes. The food wasn't bad, it just wasn't as great as I remember it"

"Hello, I came to Zizzis yesterday evening with my work colleagues as our Christmas meal. I called beforehand and the woman I spoke to was very helpful confirmed I could extend our booking from 8 to 12 people which I greatly appreciated. When we got there the booking could not be found, causing me stress with everyone else when in fact it was there all along and the person at the front didn’t look properly. Once we were seated we were given our waiter for the evening who unfortunately was not helpful in any way at all. We ordered two portions of olives, only one appeared. My friend ordered a meat pizza and when he came and bought it to her she asked for some extra pizza sauce to which he replied with it’s got meat on it, is that the meat you eat? (She was Indian and it just came across quite insensitive) I don’t think he smiled once during the entire 2 hours we were there He refused to engage with us, or ask if the meals were okay Trying to ask for more drinks made us feel bad as it appeared to be a very tiresome task for him to do his job Unfortunately I did not get his name as no one at Zizzis wore name badges last night. I was deeply disappointed in the service we had for our Christmas meal yesterday evening. "After a long week of work we wanted to relax and enjoy. we looked at the local options and have never tried tradita, we looked at the pictures and reviews and decided to go. probably one of the best decisions I made this year excellent freshly cooked eating, brot that is baked in the house, desserts all made and prepared in the house aswell. definitiw is one of our new favorite restaurants and it is to lift from service phenomenal. friendly, courteous and they can say that the staff is really proud of the place they work on. alex was particularly amazing and made sure that our first time was not our last time. 100% will return."

"La'De Kitchen is a decent restaurant with a Turkish menu with European influences. The appetizers, like goats cheese mixed with butter served with warm flatbread, were good but not outstanding. The borek was a bit oily and lacking finesse, while the vine leaves were just okay. The main dishes, however, were better. The lamb shish fillet was succulent and perfectly cooked, but with prices over £20, you would expect nothing less. The restaurant is quiet, making it a good spot for catching up with friends, but it's not the best in terms of value for money."

"Visited here last week in the evening for a lovely meal. We rang ahead to check it was dog friendly and booked a table but they only had room outside which we went for -got our drinks (don’t recommend the vodka coke it was...a very short drink and not very fizzy but the shandy and beer was good) not long after getting our drinks a few people left and they came out and said if we wanted to move indoors then we could which we did. The staff were nice and helpful and the food was good -we would revisit if in the area -thanks!"

"Brilliant freshly cooked pizzas. They also offer a gluten free pizza which was lovely. Toppings were fresh and generous along with a really well made dough. Quick and easy to order with helpful friendly staff at collection. The only feedback (definitely not a complaint) was that the gluten free base could have been slightly crispier. This is very hard to achieve and does not take away from how good the pizzas were and is merely constructive feedback. We will definitely be ordering again!!"

"I booked a table for a family gathering that included friends and children of various ages. Each child was well taken care of, with the youngest's order taken first to ensure they weren't left hungry or restless, which made the dining experience enjoyable for everyone. The food arrived promptly, giving the adults more time to place their orders. The service was exceptional, and the menu offered a genuine selection of traditional Italian dishes. There was a great variety, including pizza, pasta, meat, and fish—something to satisfy everyone. I personally enjoyed a hearty fish dish with wild mushrooms, which was absolutely delicious! The gelato options were extensive. The location was perfect, and the atmosphere was lovely. We will definitely return often, whether for dinner or takeaway to enjoy in nearby Clarence Park."

The food was fantastic especially the gluten-free options available, but what deserves more than 5* is the service by the Manager and his team, who quite literally saved my Dad's life after he experienced a medical issue. "This restaurant offers a lovely combination of Polish hospitality (thanks to Urszula) and Italian cuisine (courtesy of the cook). We savored a delicious caprese salad, flavorful spaghetti bolognese, classic margherita pizza, indulgent tiramisu, and topped it off with ice cream. Every dish was fantastic, making it hard to choose a favorite. The waitstaff was incredibly attentive, with one Latvian waitress even helping my 4-year-old eat. The service was exceptional and the prices were very reasonable. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant."
