"Terribly rude experience from this hotel and its bar, there are many more to visit in London! When you arrive the hotel has its doors locked to guests And does not let any guests in. Do not book a table at the rooftop bar, the lady will give away your booking to footballers because they will pay anything to take your table. The tall security man will take bribes to let friends of footballers in but not let bookings in. The booking woman is very rude and when complaining tells you to direct your complaints to the hotel which gets nowhere, nobody wants to take responsibility so this is a complete waste of time, do not visit. We travelled from Birmingham, paid congestion charge to go to this hotel and this is how we are treated by staff at the rooftop bar and by staff in the hotel."

Been here a few times with family and it really is a wonderful experience .. The view is amazing and without paying for the honour makes it even better .. Lovely cocktails and kids cocktails .. Which are a bit pricey but they are delicious x

visited here on a Friday afternoon in December and although booked there was a long wait to get in. This actually meant that our visit was cut short and we did not get to spend as much time there as we would have liked. The out side terraced part was fantastic and having experienced the views from the Shard opposite would be hard pushed to choose between the two.

This restaurant is absolutely awful. I would prefer to risk getting coronavirus than to spend another moment in the company of the individuals who operate this establishment. If you make a reservation, they will cancel it and give your table to someone they believe will spend more money. It is completely disgraceful. Stay away from this place. Additionally, there is no social distancing being enforced. Just a heads up. View menu

The Sky bar is a must see in London as it has some of the best panoramic views over this amazing city. We went in the evening for wine and champagne so didn't book the restaurant that is one floor higher up then the sky bar. Note that you have to pr book online to get a ticket and they scan that ticket in on arrival. Once checked in your luggage and yourself has to go through a bag and body scanner. Once in you can tour the beautiful gardens that tier up from the bar area below and walk round with your drinks whilst soaking in up the sublime views. The terrace is definitely a selfie paradise with awesome panoramic views over the City and the shard

I must start by saying that I had read negative reviews on Tripadvisor before visiting, but I didn't take them seriously. I should have. My experience at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. I went there for drinks in the evening and it was a terrible experience. The staff were indifferent and rude towards customers. The view was obstructed by plastic covers and the outdoor seating area was cold due to inadequate heating. The service was subpar considering the high price of the wine, as we were served in plastic glasses that still had water in them. I cannot recommend this place. Hopefully, the owners and staff will make changes soon because the potential of this place is wasted.

I went to this restaurant for a drink and ended up leaving only 10 minutes after finishing my £14 cocktail. I don't mind spending money on a night out, but the prices here were high considering the place looked like it was decorated by a drunk student. When you hear "rooftop," you expect a view, but all I saw was scaffolding and walls covered in plastic wrap. Despite the rule of 6, there were more than 8 people there when I visited. The £50 shisha price is unreasonable when you can find cheaper options elsewhere. If you're looking for a more upscale experience, I suggest checking out places like Edward Road or Queensway instead. However, if you're into a more gritty lifestyle, you might enjo... View menu

From the moment we entered the premises we were treated as if we were nobility. We were shown to the 'Silk ' restaurant, and as the premises was previously a magistrate court , the waiter showed us around and told us the history of the place as well as giving us a written history. Having ascertained if we had any allergies (so as to substitute for other food) the our choice of teas were served, followed by the expertly laid out and delivered food. The food was beyond excellence in presentation and taste. The waiter asked about three times if we wanted any more teas, or food at no extra cost. The occasion was finished off with a glass of their signature Plum Wine. What an amazing and fantastic...

We visited the rooftop terrace on Saturday afternoon. It was hot and sunny, so the terrace was busy. We stood at the bar for 10 minutes whilst staff milled around but no one asked if they could help us. Eventually I caught the attention of one member of staff and asked if I could order drinks. He told us it was table service only so to find a table, but we explained that there were none. He just said no table, no drinks and walked off. Very rude, no desire to help. We went downstairs to the bar and the barman there was equally rude and uninterested in our customer. When we left the man on reception could barely even lift his head when we said goodbye. This hotel needs to send its staff on a...

"The decor of the restaurant is really lovely. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. We placed our orders quite briskly. We received complimentary bread and olives, which was a nice touch. Our Bruchetta starter arrived a whole hour after we arrived, which was disappointing and far too long to wait for a cold and easy starter. The menu did not specify that the prawns on one of the bruschettas were raw! The waiter said service was slow because they were busy with Uber Eats and Deliveroo. Clearly not prioritising paying customers, who pay a 12.5% service charge, unlike online customers. Eventually, our main courses arrived. My pasta was only just cooked, so close to being undercooked and hard. They ran out of ricotta and replaced it with the tiniest amount of cheese so I asked for some more. Since ricotta was supposed to be the main ingredient of the dish. The tuna steak was lovely, and the veal could have done with a thinner breadcrumb batter. The sides, chips and zucchini, were £4.50 and very small portions for such a cheap side. So that was slightly disappointing. Overall, the pinot grigio white wine was very drinkable, and they brought tap water when we asked for it. And the whole staff were very polite. It was a shame the service was so slow, and the food could have been better for the price that it was. We also felt it was overpriced for the location it was, zone 2 London and not in the West End."
