"I was already a couple of times from the beginning when it was reopened initially when it was opened, they treated all customers with good service, now choose and choose priority they based on the size of the table. if they alone, a few then forget service. Believe me that the food proportions were very good when they have now opened, they have mostly halved in size, while almost every choice had added over its price I ordered the usual calzone folded pizza and cannelloni after taking this to us. the calzone had only a few crowds chickener in it probably because it was busy, we were only two, and it was cold. the cannelloni was beautiful...read more"

"Ambience and service were very good indeed and the restaurant is comfortable with kind lighting and very clean. The food was good: we shared a pate starter which was excellent. My companion had the Pollo Parma which he said was superb. I had the Stroganoff de Pollo which wasn't as creamy as I normally like, but good nonetheless. The mixed side salad was generous. Desserts were lemon sorbet and a superb Affogato. We had a litre of house red wine (which was light and tasty) and with a 10% tip the bill was £82 which we felt was very reasonable for the quality of the meal."

"My Wife I have just had THE most wonderful meal at this lovely, charismatic, traditional and delightful Italian restaurant. The service was proper, speedy and very professional. The menu was extensive and we both chose a ribeye steak which was delicious and cooked as requested, as were the sources we chose. We had three courses, all of which were fabulous and as we only live 300 yards away, we have so missed out not trying this place in the past two years since it opened. But we shall be back Mrs Q wants to try the Sunday dinner!!! We done well worth 5*!"

"I really wanted to like this place but it was just awful in so many ways. The food was pretty good, we both had a carbonara but unfortunately my partner found 2 hairs in their food, after getting halfway through my meal I noticed that both my plate and glass were filthy. My glass was dusty and also had a small hair in it and my plate had clearly not been cleaned properly. My napkin also had a random stain on it and had to be replaced. Although the food wasn't bad it also wasn't what was advertised, it was very clearly not fresh pasta and it wasn't the type that was supposed to come with the dish, instead of fresh ribbon pasta we just got standard premade spaghetti. Very unfortunate, it should have been a red flag that the place was empty on a Friday night, I definitely won't be back until they seriously review their hygiene standards."

"Outstanding! Half the price of central Alvor Italian restaurants (eg mains €8) and perfect food. We had a variety of pizzas, bruscetta and. Lasagne. All were cooked to perfection and large portions (pizzas size of vinyl record). Panacotta was a bit too set, but otherwise best Italian in Alvor area. Will be our go-to in future."

"food and service were ok nothing special. what was disappointing was that we had booked over the fork with a discount. when we arrived, they didn't really realize that we had a booking because they were in a position. So when we got to pay, I had to press the point above the discount. first they said it was only in the week when I showed the booking, I got the discount, but was left with an atmosphere as if I had just stolen from the restaurant. if I had been more willing to make a push, I would have asked to remove the service fee that almost cancelled out of the discount in any case. if the restaurant uses the fork discount system to win customers, then they should not feel so bad about it! and should check them how the booking was made to avoid any damp at the end."

"This is a pizza place which makes great pizza (I had a vegan special with butternut squash and artichoke, which was amazing) but has so much lighting and such a loud atmosphere that you want to leave as soon as you are done eating. "Such good vibe here! The service was great and the staff were so friendly. I love that they were singing while working, clearly a happy place to work at! We think the food is very authentic. We had calamari and baked aubergine both for main. The garlic bread was so tasty as well and regretting not trying their wood fire pizza! Will definitely come again’"

"Booked lunch for 4 on a Friday at 1:30pm, needed to finish by 3pm, actually the right amount of time. It was a lovely sunny day and originally sat by the front window, waiter quickly took our order for drinks while we decided what to order. After 10 minutes I was baking and asked if we could move, on a normal dull day it would be a good place to sit but not on a bright sunny day. Waitress was very accommodating and we moved to the rear and it was such a relief. Three of us ordered pizza and we were not disappointed, the base was thin and the toppings tasty cooked to perfection. The vegetarian pasta dish was equally delicious according to friend. We all had the Italian desert, biscuit and ricotta cream filling which was good. My elderflower and Prosecco cocktail was refreshing and tasty. All in all an excellent experience, was my first visit and will not hesitate to return."

"Excellent little restaurant in the heart of Lytham with parking easy enough to find very close by. The food was amazing one of the very best meals I've ever had. Main menu choice was excellent as well as a selection of several specials. Service from the staff was superb, who were extremely attentive. Not anyones fault, but our table was next to the door and it was a cold night so kept getting a cold draught whenever it opened which was pretty regularly as there is also seating outside. Staff immediately close the door behind them, but some customers failed to. Will definitely return recommend. Brilliant."

"Sunday 6pm service slow...had to keep waving for service....when we sat down we asked if the Tiramasu was available as we had a guest coming that was having ONLY that .....we were told it was available but when we ordered it were told it was still setting and not ready for another hour ! We were offered it on the house later but we had theatre tickets so that was that. Great food otherwise as usual....just need more staff or staff who are a bit more attentive at the table. There was a great big labrador shaking and licking itsself in the booth area near the kitchen which was a bit off putting..it wasnt a disability dog as far as we could make out. If you dont mind dog hair floating about while you eat then this wont bother you. Love the food here and this was the first below expectations visit at this venue in 12 visits"

"Tried this place for the first time last night as I'm new to Darlington and all I can say is wow!!! Food is amazing pizzas remind me of being back in Italy and in fact are better than some of the pizzas we had there!!! Really good choice and the staff in this place are lovely, very friendly and you can see they are passionate about what they do which is refreshing!!! Also noticed they do gluten free options which are not really advertised but should be my mother in law has coeliacs disease and is now very excited to try this place knowing it caters for her! Plus the chips are amazing!!! Will defo be back!!! Well done to this place, it's really hard to To find a nice pizza in Darlington but think this place wins hands down as the pizzas are perfect! "Went as a group for a birthday , live local and have gone here so many times before mainly loved it. The last two times I don’t know if it’s a change of ownership or something but service was appalling. Two of our pizzas were not cooked (which we knew wouldn’t be as saw on the screen they were out in the oven for literally one minute! . The dough was still stretchy and sticky and the mozzarella was still in hard chunks! Staff said it was because of the style of pizza being a little smaller for a kid! yet the calezone for an adult was the same! My actual pizza was nice though. Slow service food brought out big gaps in between. There was only us and another table with one person on! So Christ knows how they cope if they have more people! Chef clearly annoyed we had complained about the Pizza! Muttering away. If you don’t cook the food obviously your going to get complaints! Your not doing it for free!! Clearly wanted us to go after this, turned music off clearing rest of restaurant and hovering around to take our plates and drinks, in a rush to get rid of us they threw the birthday cake away we had just cut up for people. They did apologise but didn’t offer to rectify and it’s because they were rushing us out. It was 9.00pm though so maybe they shut at this time I had not checked. Such a shame after many nice nights there to the last two times. Won’t be going again! Also speaking to a few friends they said they had similar experiences there recently!"

"First time at Britalia and it was excellent. Lovely atmosphere and smell of yummy food as soon as you enter. The waiting staff were very friendly, chatty and had a great sense of humour which makes a change from Dolly Robotic Daydreams in some places !! Their service was first class, with delicious hot food, great drinks and all washed down with coffee and a complementary shot !! The owner/head chef also interacts with customers which is refreshing to see. Excellent value for money also. A great meal and we shall return."

"Excellent food, atmosphere and staff! One of the best pizzas I’ve tried! I like how big and rustic the building is and the lighting’s really nice too! We ordered our food at 7:20 but didn’t arrive until 8:10. They did have 3 large tables to serve before us, and unfortunately only 1 pizza oven. It was at least 30degC in there too. But when the food came it was amazing! I can see why they’ve been winning awards!"
