"Our family was in London for a week and seeking a good Italian restaurant which is not so easy to find in London. We booked at O Ver before a performance at Shakespeare’s Globe which is just a few blocks away. The food and service was phenomenal. We eat a lot of Italian food at home in the US and visited Sicily and Naples last year, and I would stack up O Ver’s food as some of the best we’ve had. Our waiter was extremely warm and attentive, from Naples himself. We HIGHLY recommend O Ver and would gladly return!"

We ordered a Focaccia, a soup and pizzas and everything was absolutely amazing. Vegetables were delicious and service was very good. We definitely recommend it and come back.

The beef carpaccio was amazing!! I wanted to go back the very next day and am still sad I didn’t. The pizzas were also fantastic and I recommend the diavolo if you like spicy.

I had lunch before the theater and ordered the tortellini with pumpkin and sage butter. It was delicious! The portion size was small, but it left room for a wonderful tiramisu. It exceeded my expectations, especially since I make a pretty good tiramisu myself and am often disappointed when I order it at restaurants. The staff was very polite and helpful, and the service was fast. Thank you! I will definitely be back when I'm in Southwark Street again.
