"The food was beautifully presented, as always. Our starter arrived at the right time, but we experienced a nearly 25-minute wait for our main course, and no explanation was given for the delay. Larger tables of four were served their starters, mains, and desserts after we had our starter but before we received our main dish. We didn’t receive any updates during this time. While the restaurant was busy (which is great for them given the current climate), there were moments when social distancing wasn’t maintained, making it feel a bit cramped. I will return because I enjoy the restaurant and the food, but it's clear that some improvements are needed to ensure that the focus on profit doesn’t compromise good service, as well as the safety and comfort of both staff and customers."

"Great Italian Food on Harrogate Road If you're looking for an exceptional Italian dining experience, this restaurant on Harrogate Road comes highly recommended. Ambience and Service Arriving around 7 PM, we were promptly seated. The restaurant boasts exquisite decor and a welcoming ambience. From the moment we walked in until we left, the service was flawless. Starters We began with three starters: Tempura Prawns, Avocado Crab Tian, and Gamberoni Marechiaro. Each dish was perfect. The Gamberoni sauce was beautifully seasoned, the tempura batter was just right, and the Crab Tian was well balanced and seasoned. Main Courses: For the main course, we ordered the Fish Feast Platter for one (which could easily serve 1.5 people), Carbonara, and Linguine Pescatore. All three dishes were beautifully prepared and delicious. Value Although the restaurant is on the expensive side, the quality of food and overall dining experience make it well worth the price. Recommendation I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking to enjoy top-notch Italian cuisine"

"Had a great experience and a delicious meal on Saturday before theatre. Made to feel so welcome from a delightful lady.. (Don't know if she's the boss and if she isn't she should be). Nothing was too much trouble even when I asked for pineapple on my calzone pizza. She was very friendly and welcoming to our party of six. She even surprised me with my own pineapple ring and cream to go with my coffee... Thank you.. Sorry I didn't get ur name.. Would recommend this restaurant highly. Everyone in our party thoroughly enjoyed their meal. We will be back soon."

"Top class Indian food experience enjoyed last Saturday at the Yasmin restaurant in East Horsley, Surrey, UK. Very tasty blend of spices throughout the dishes we had. Perfectly balanced tarka dhal. Good range of different vegetables in the vegetable pathia, Tender, well cooked lamb in the lamb rezala which was also delicately balanced in terms chili strength. Would highly recommend a visit to this exceptionally good restaurant, serving authentic Indian food."

"Giusi for Mother's Day when we wanted to stay here. Small and cozy restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. Service was friendly and efficient. However, food was mixed. Calamari Starter was rubbery and, at nine pounds, not cheap. Spaghetti Bolognese main was quite delicious, with good amount of meaty Bolognese. The calf liver was quite tasteless and sour, with a large amount of caramelized onions above to offer the taste. Mash was smooth. The desert consisted of a pizza with mussels and strawberries, which was delicious. No wine or alcohol, so not able to comment on it. The bill came to seventy five pounds, which we would have expected to pay in a much better restaurant. All in all, Giusi has all the ingredients of a beautiful restaurant, but just falls in quality, and very expensive for what it is. Think the pizza and pasta options are your best bet."

"This was our third visit this year, and honestly, the restaurant is just mediocre. Leatherhead doesn’t have many good dining options, so we keep returning to this Italian place. This time, I started with an avocado, tomato, and mozzarella salad, but it had no flavor at all. For my main course, I ordered spaghetti vongole, but it was gritty, so I couldn't eat it. The owner did offer an alternative, but I just didn’t feel like eating anymore. My partner ordered a pizza, but unfortunately, the crust wasn’t crispy. We ended up paying and leaving without much satisfaction. I don’t think we’ll return again in the future."

"Despite a reservation for 630 we didn't sit down until 7.10pm. Lovely and friendly though and fairly apologetic so we didn't mind the wait. Very slow service unfortunately, which meant we didn't leave until 10.30pm. Wine was lovely, food exceptional. Only real gripe was one of our party has dietary issues and could not eat their meal literally only had a few mouthfuls) yet there was no way she could take it home with her very adamant that it had to all go in the bin £20 meal). Next time she will take her own container. Most eateries offer a box these days but hey ho. We spent a small fortune on drinks and food and a little limoncello at the end would have been a nice touch, especially as it was for a 70th birthday but even so, a great celebratory meal and we will definitely give it another go purely because of the authentic and fantastic food. Don't let this put you off just don't expect a quick meal if you're in a hurry."

"We selected this restaurant for a pre-theater dinner and were, unfortunately, disappointed overall in our experience. The restaurant is much smaller than we had anticipated and when we arrived, the person who spoke to us manager, owner? asked for our name when I told him we had a reservation. Then he said who? as if we didn 't have a reservation made months earlier . That made our arrival at the restaurant a bit uncomfortable. After a bit, we were shown to a table in a noisy corner of the place. Meanwhile, the man who greeted ? us looked at the woman who would be waiting on our table in a way that felt to us like he had no idea who we were but needed to seat us, nonetheless. It was an apologetic look and it was noted. It took her quite some time to come and get our drink order which we all noticed. It seemed like once she realized that we were all ordering adult beverages, her attitude changed a bit as she realized that she could get a large tip for service which she, in fact, did . Once we started eating the food which took a long time to get to the table, we were happy with the dinners we had ordered. The food was really good, no complaints there. It was the service that was disappointing. So, if you don 't mind not being treated nicely in a restaurant where you 'll be dropping 2 or 3 hundred pounds sterling, and you 're only and all about the food, this place is for you. I left thinking the following : food that isn 't as good as the food we had here tastes better when the service is warm and welcoming. Overall, disappointed. Les Mis was awesome, though!"

"The food was outstanding. We began with Bruschetta and enjoyed Calzone for our main course. Both dishes were packed with flavor, and the Calzone was especially fantastic. We will definitely be returning to dine there again."

"Have eaten here numerous times, thought it deserved a review. Great local family run Italian restaurant just opposite Magdalene College. Friendly staff and consistently good food at reasonable prices, with a decent range of pizzas, pasta and meat/fish dishes. My favourite dishes Pizza Arrabbiata, Maiale (pork fillet) with Marsala, and Pollo Milanese with spaghetti Napoli. The sea bass is also good, though it’s a big portion! Excellent range of ice cream and a few other desserts the Tiramisu and Limoncello Crème Brûlée are both yummy, the chocolate cake is delicious but huge. It’s often very busy, booking may be advisable, especially in the evenings. I don’t give many 5 star reviews, but this place is all I want in a local Italian restaurant."

"What a nasty little man who works there, not content with being challenged for driving across the pavement in front of me and a woman pushing a buggy, he started revving his engine aggressively to get us to move out of his (incredibly entitled) way. After the challenge he was more than willing to propose violence to further escalate the situation. What a nasty little man, no sense of community except what's in it for him. I'll certainly not be eating at this place ever again."

"I went to this restaurant after the theater and found the staff and atmosphere to be very pleasant. The soundtrack was good and added to the ambiance. The menu was appealing with a wide selection of dishes to choose from. The food arrived promptly and was delicious. The desserts were fabulous with a good variety to choose from. The staff were friendly, helpful, and provided quick and polite service. I would definitely recommend this place if you are in the West End!"

"We recently hosted a 50th birthday celebration for over 30 guests at this Italian restaurant, which happens to be my husband's favorite. The staff were extremely organized and there were no errors with the meals. They did a great job preparing, cooking, and serving a 3-course meal for everyone. The food was delicious and arrived hot and fresh. The service was excellent and the staff were willing to accommodate any requests. We will definitely return to Gaetano's for special occasions in the future. The only regret we have is not taking any photos, but we highly recommend dining there yourself as you will not be disappointed. We are even considering booking a table for Christmas. Thank you to Carlo, his wife, and son for a wonderful experience. We will be back soon. As for parking, there is a car park near BBC Wiltshire Radio which is affordable after 6pm."

"Having recently visited here, I can only say I was very disappointed. We sat wanting a drink first and were then rushed to our table. Three times we were asked if we were having wine with the meal . Three times we replied, we'd decide when we ordered the food. The fish I chose wasn't available. It's not that we booked late. It was 730. The two waitress clearly weren't communicating and both repeated each other all evening. The chips were clearly out of a packet. I had the lamb and it was poorly cooked. No crisp to the fat whatsoever and the sauce was just strange. One of the side dishes that arrived was incorrect. Overall we just felt rushed and the staff were incompetent. The house music system was clearly a budget one. Rather than creating a nice ambiance , it just created backgound noise. I rarely write reviews unless I want to express my opinion about excellence or the opposite. In this case I really don't have anything positive to say about this place, it's service or the quality of it's food."

"The people there were very nice, the feel was very pleasant, had to move a table around so I could face my boyfriend a bit which was good. The way the tables were set up (chairs were perpendicular to each other) still give an intimate feeling but we wanted something more direct. "We arrived for our table at 7.45pm on a quiet Tuesday, We were on holiday so thought we would go when it was not too busy. We were shown to our table, before we even had our coats off we were asked if we wanted the wine menu, we said yes in a moment. The waiter brought it over and asked if we were ready to order, i said no as we had not looked at the menu yet, he asked 3 times before we had even looked at the wine menu, we had only been there around 5 minutes. Eventually we ordered, the starters which were good as were the mains. We were quickly asked if we wanted a dessert, i asked if we could wait as we have just finished and asked if the restaurant was still open, the reply was, no it is closed we are waiting on dessert orders ! at 9pm !! we were also told it was the latest place open in the Ferry !, We ordered dessert , we were asked if we would like limoncello or sambuka, we were not told this was part of the menu, i asked if it was and was told yes, but had we not have known might have said no , We felt we were hurried out, no offers of coffees or drinks, We ordered £75 worth of food and drink and were out in an hour and a half ! I was looking forward to an evening out not a quick meal. I feel disappointed, but have to say the food was very good, we must have visited on an off night and feel we spent a lot for an hour and a half night out . Not sure if we would return"
