"Have eaten here numerous times, thought it deserved a review. Great local family run Italian restaurant just opposite Magdalene College. Friendly staff and consistently good food at reasonable prices, with a decent range of pizzas, pasta and meat/fish dishes. My favourite dishes Pizza Arrabbiata, Maiale (pork fillet) with Marsala, and Pollo Milanese with spaghetti Napoli. The sea bass is also good, though it’s a big portion! Excellent range of ice cream and a few other desserts the Tiramisu and Limoncello Crème Brûlée are both yummy, the chocolate cake is delicious but huge. It’s often very busy, booking may be advisable, especially in the evenings. I don’t give many 5 star reviews, but this place is all I want in a local Italian restaurant."

This has to be one of the best restaurants in Cambridge. Our second visit to this and it did it disappoint. The food was excellent and service attentive. We will certainly be returning

Haven’t been here for a while but our visit reminded me of what a lovely place this restaurant is, a true Cambridge institution. Beautiful, freshly prepared food, friendly staff and great atmosphere, even at lunchtime. Will be back soon.

We were visiting a museum nearby and popped in for lunch. The staff were polite and efficient, the food was freshly cooked and delicious, and we had very good wine from the excellent wine list. All at extremely reasonable prices. We will certainly visit again.

Located in an unassuming location, close to Magdalen college, but worth the short walk from the crowded city centre. Lovely food, good range of dishes, friendly and professional service. Caters well for vegan diners. Fairly-priced wine Italian wine list and a handful of Italian artisan beers. We will be back! View menu

Fresh, good quality traditional Italian food at excellent prices. Staff are friendly, helpful and attentive they served our large group very efficiently. There is a good range of dishes from pizza and risottos to sea bass and Salsiccia. Vegetarians in our party were very happy with their options, especially the Involtini. Puddings were generous and looked terrific. Highly recommended.

We love this non-chain Italian where the food is never a disappointment. Great pizzas and pasta and lovely staff. Having been as a couple and with a small family group we didn't hesitate to book the characterful beamed upstairs room for 18 friends when celebrating a special birthday. They did not let us down. Everyone praised the food and the service. Long may they continue to provide a great venue for good food in a lovely part of the city.

"added dropwise for a pizza on the afternoon without reservation, and we were warmly welcomed and set immediately. the smell of reifer tomatensauce and gooey mozzarella in the stone oven under fire baked was an salutation to the sinnen. the restaurant was filled with a pleasant humor of talking and laughing, the sound of the teigs chopped in the kitchen, and the familiar sound of tellers and cutlery picked up and put down again - all with weak Italian music plays in the background. the ambiente was a tasteful hauch of seafoam blue on the wooden wall panels and equipped with sturdy furniture with red chili oils, salt and peppers and various types of fresh crimp on each table. a table can have salvia, another basilikum, the next coriander. a charming, subtler node to the l 'arte d 'arrangiarsi the art of making something from nothing of pizza. the menu was easy and easy to navigate, nothing to slandered level and nothing too adventurous. we ordered a pesto pizza and we asked for extra tomato sauce to which our server would be happy insured. after many times we came to our table customers and sleeps! the pesto had a tasteful taste and was pleasant tangy, the tomato sauce was juicy and not quite watery, and the mozzarella was evenly distributed and reached every end of the teigs. the best part, however, was the thick, soft resistance of the crust - not even the least incineration, but just at the right time pulled out of that. a 1 x 1 ' ft perfectly presented pizza. the, with two fizzy drinks, for less than 20 £. will return for the same, but with the intention to add a little red wine."
