"We like to order from here as the food is spot on. The last order we had, we tried something different. I ordered a small pizza with a note saying we’d like a bbq base. I also ordered a peri peri chicken wrap and an order of chips. What I got was a tomato base pizza, a plain chicken wrap and a portion of chips that had seen better days. So disappointed"

"We had booked a pitch for a motorhome and booked the restaurant on a Sunday evening. Normally on a Sunday most pubs have very little choice apart from the standard Sunday roast, which is fine if that’s what you want. But we found the menu excellent for choices as well as the roast dinners. We were not disappointed in any part of our stay, the staff was most helpful, polite and the food was exceptional. We both had starters and burgers to follow which were lovely, very tasty and well presented. Reasonably priced, nice comfortable bar and dog friendly. We would definitely recommend"

"The restaurant recently got new management. Unfortunately, one of the staff members, a lady, was seen smoking and sitting on the grass verge without washing her hands afterwards. She also had her phone in her hand, which was not very hygienic. Overall, this was quite a disappointing and unsanitary experience."

"For the past two years, we have been enjoying our weekly tradition of ordering a chippy supper and eagerly anticipating its delivery. "A significant lack of communication from the kitchen to the house. The king shrimps I had were not detoxified during the prep and were served in a crazy fusion of chili in a white wine garlic butter consommé, which just tasted strangely. The cheesecake base on the menu so dense that you could not eat it and should be served with coconut ice cream, but it came with vanilla. No coconut left obvious and no explanation made before the order. The huge chips I had with my fillet steak were not cooked enough. And my piece of fillet (both cooked blue on request) was not the largest of steaks. A very overpriced place to eat for the missing Lustre food and service it delivered. We took the uneaten desserts out of the account, almost as if they did us a favor. I wouldn't recommend it or go back there. I don't care to pay these prices if the basics are correctly executed (food service)."

"I walked into this restaurant for the first time in months, only to discover that it had changed ownership multiple times in the past two years. It is now called Tatnam Fish and Chips. Despite the bustling crowd, I waited in line to purchase some chips for my elderly grandparents who were waiting for me at the station. After waiting for twenty minutes, I finally reached the front of the line, only to be told that they had run out of chips and needed to prepare more. I was frustrated when they prioritized an online delivery that had just arrived, and I ultimately decided to take a refund and leave. I expressed my displeasure at their lack of respect for the queue and warned that I would leave negative reviews wherever possible. In conclusion, it is important to respect the queue system in order to avoid negative consequences like this."

"This place is an absolute joke. I arrive at the shop at 12.05am on a Friday night as the website said they close at 2am. I turned up, the shutters were down and there were people inside the shop. I called from outside the shop and told them I'm here to order food, they said they closed at 11pm. I said their website said they close at 2am, the worker wasn't offering any explanation and kept saying they were closed. This made me incredibly angry as I drove 15 minute to this spot as it was halal and i heard it was a relatively popular franchise. The whole ordeal was absolutely shambolic, there were no clarity and it was downright frustrating. I'm not from the area but if I come back I will avoid this place at all cost. Pathetic."
