"I ordered Chutneys and Poppadoms, lamb biriyani and peshwari naan bread. My partner chose a very hot curry (I can’t remember what). Chutneys were mango chutney, onion salad, lime pickle and raita yoghurt sauce served in little dishes (but plenty to eat). Poppadoms were fresh, large and crispy. The lamb biriyani was delicious. The biriyani is served as “dry” flavoured mixed rice and lamb (it wasn’t dry but isn’t saucey) then a simple mild saucey vegetable curry is served on the side to pour over if you wish. The lamb itself was good quality and cooked perfectly. The fat had rendered, it was incredibly succulent and tasty, the texture was melt in your mouth, there were absolutely no nasty fatty bits at all. The biryani was absolutely delicious and didn’t need the curry but I enjoyed both. The peshwari naan bread was delicious and sweet. I can eat a lot, had missed lunch and was making up for it at dinner time, however even for me this was a generous amount of food so I wrapped up the naan in a napkin and enjoyed the following day. The building is beautiful, it’s a grand room, small floor area but very tall ceilings. The dining room still manages to feel cosy and homely. It’s worth a trip down to the toilets just to see a bit more of the building. I also had a glass of red wine which had strong enough flavour to stand up to the meal. Very good value. I will be back! And bringing other people!"

"to be a good Indian/Pakistani restaurant in the center of curry mile, they must stand out and young do them protrude. as soon as they enter, the decor will transport them to another place. the location is illuminated by an eclectic group of lights of different shapes and colors, and the walls are covered with sensory overloading posters and color. the service is also excellent! the personal is very friendly, and the restaurant is allergic friendly by listing all common allergens beside each item and the personal ensures that all their allergen needs are visited. the food was A-OK. it was not the biggest Indian (or indo-Chinese) eating that I had, but it was quite delicious! I had the vegetable peppers, which is much more than soy sauce, and the sweet pepperini, where the vegetables are grilled with masala before putting the sandwich together. both options were great! I also had a strawberry cocktail that was sweet and sour, crisp and refreshing. If you're craving for an Indian eating that has a fusion dragon, I'd look past it!"

"Food was average, the staff are lovely apart from the manager/owner who is very rude and abrupt, second time trying this place out and was not impressed, thought maybe first time because they where busy the customer service was bad but even when the place was quiet, still the same service. "Yesterday evening at 7:30pm we ordered a takeaway from this curry house, local to my Mum. She had used them previously and the curry was good and they delivered on time. (This is the only reason I have given a review of Poor rather than Terrible. On this occasion however, having ordered over £100 of curries and sides, our order took almost 2 hours to be delivered they had said an hour. When we phoned (4 times to find out where the driver was, we were told he'd left and would be with us soon. (They had the full address and postcode and had been there before. They also had my mobile number. When he eventually arrived he had 3 bottles of beer to give us as an apology for his lateness so he obviously was still on the premises when we'd called. So the lateness was an issue as was his tone; as was the fact that when we called the curry house with the driver still with us, they insisted that the manager would not be available until after 22:30 and so they couldn't do anything about the problem. I don't buy that. The curry itself was also an issue. We would have had a far more flavourful curry by cooking one ourselves using Pataks curry paste, if only we'd known earlier! I think they'd run out of spices, and they clearly didn't know Makhani Dahl from Korma sauce, because that's what we'd got. My Karahi (Korai Lamb was bland, more like a stew and the naan bread's were definitely not garlic. I dislike writing bad reviews I just tend to not go back. But this time I felt it necessary as even though we didn't pay the full amount we gave the driver £100 instead of the £112.20 they'd asked for, it really wasn't worth the money we were all just so hungry that there was no other option. I can only imagine that they had new/different staff in from when my Mum last ordered, and they fell apart because it was a Saturday night and had over committed on their deliveries. It's no excuse though, don't waste your money."

"We had a fantastic first experience at this restaurant with charming decor. The building has been beautifully converted. The service was very efficient, and we enjoyed poppadums while deciding on our main courses. Unfortunately, we were not impressed with the pickle selection - the onion dips were bland and the mango chutney was too chunky and dry. We're not fans of lime pickle either. However, our main dishes, which included lamb and chicken options, were superb. Our favorite was the chicken with apricots."

"We visited Jasmine last October and had a fantastic meal, but tonight was really disappointing. The starters were just mediocre; my chicken chaat tasted as if it had been repurposed from another dish, and the channa puri was bland and resembled overcooked chickpeas soaked in red sugar water. We had both of these dishes before, and they were delicious! Additionally, they didn’t seem to expect us, even though we had made a reservation for my mother's 70th birthday party through OpenTable."

"Dealing with the pandemic situation well. They have a virtual queue and sanitizer stations. Staff were super friendly and professional. "This is a superb place. The food is absolutely delicious. Every time we’ve ordered the food has been fresh and yummy. The only negative thing is that during lockdown they really take on more than they can fulfill. Twice in lockdown we ordered. It’s been very late. We get this, but we didn’t get some of our order and just got told ‘we’ll add it to your next order’ I’d rather have my money back please. I get they’re overwhelmed in lockdown but don’t take on more than you can produce and give customers money back if you don’t deliver everything. Having said that, out of lockdown orders arrived on time and were all correct. The food really is amazing. Very different flavours from your run of the mill takeaway so we will order again."

"Wow, what an amazing experience we had this evening. We where greeted with a friendly and polite waiter and even the owner came to introduce himself. The service is 5*, we didn't wait long to be served with a selection of drinks and fine wines and then on to our table. Whilst at the table the waiter pulled out chairs and seated us with our napkins on our laps what an amazing experience this was. Now on to the food, it was absolutely delicious, it was freshly prepared and served hot. the curry was amazing nice and full of flavour, Peshawari naan was tasty and generous in size. Even the own catered for my 3 year old child as she's a fussy eater with the classic chips and nuggets. Overall this restaurant is amazing, friendly and polite staff with a very professional owner. Suitable for all occasions. 5* service and great quality food l. I will definitely be returning."

"I have order £30 worth of curry’s to night as has had family over. All curry’s was very basic and bland no favour what so ever I had four pieces of tiny mutton in mine. Also all curry’s was lay in loads of water so rice got soaked up with all the rice so just looked and tasted horrible. Never had bad experience in past orders. But really unhappy with fact was not will to compromise with some form of refund there answer was that’s wat u get with just ordering a curry. Well I’m sorry but i always order this curry and never lay in so much water and tasted so bland. Unacceptable to be honest and so up setting fact there not willing to compromise after I’ve wasted £30 as it’s all gone in the bin.......!!"
