"to be a good Indian/Pakistani restaurant in the center of curry mile, they must stand out and young do them protrude. as soon as they enter, the decor will transport them to another place. the location is illuminated by an eclectic group of lights of different shapes and colors, and the walls are covered with sensory overloading posters and color. the service is also excellent! the personal is very friendly, and the restaurant is allergic friendly by listing all common allergens beside each item and the personal ensures that all their allergen needs are visited. the food was A-OK. it was not the biggest Indian (or indo-Chinese) eating that I had, but it was quite delicious! I had the vegetable peppers, which is much more than soy sauce, and the sweet pepperini, where the vegetables are grilled with masala before putting the sandwich together. both options were great! I also had a strawberry cocktail that was sweet and sour, crisp and refreshing. If you're craving for an Indian eating that has a fusion dragon, I'd look past it!"

"New owners have ruined a great restaurant. I'm local and have been eating in and having take away for 10+ years, never had such poor service or food as tonight. The staff made several mistakes with our order, and when I took the order back they refused to accept their mistake despite the very clear evidence of completely wrong dishes! On top of that the food we did have was really poor quality. This used to be a great place to eat, but the combination of rising prices, poor service and now wrong orders means we won't go again. "Wonderful food at MyLahore! Traditional Karahi, seekh kebabs and chicken stir fry were delicious with soft naans/rotis and refreshing mocktails. And to finish the best desi chai Really helped having a parking attendant outside who guided us to an easy parking spot opposite the restaurant. Really cosy, spacious and clean seating areas, we were given a very warm welcome by Sharjil Waqas who looked after us and recommended the dishes. Thank you Sharjil!! "This is the summary of our experience with the summer set lunch menu in babur: Pros: Nice atmosphere, beautiful tent and fine dining setup, quiet and cozy, delicious dal and acceptable food. Cons: tiny tiny walking insect in the side-salad of the dish I am not sure is it because of the semi-outdoor lunch area or from the kitchen? . Lamb ribs was not fresh and it was probably cooked in the day before and then warmed up, it was old and chewy. Instead of one dal for each person as written in the menu, we had a dal to share for each two person, and when we asked for extra top-up, the answer was no! Ignorant service: although they were not busy at all, they ignored us couple of time and we had to call twice for any request. We had to pay the set lunch price for our child, although there is a child price in the menu and we asked for that in the beginning. However, as the portions were really small even the naan was half-normal-size , we do not regret it. All in all, the food and service, we got, was much below the expectation one could get from the reviews."

"Yesterday we decided to give the New Gulistan a try and placed an order at for a set meal for patiently waited until and then my husband called to cancel the delivery only to be told it had already left and was on its way. At after it had been cancelled,the delivery guy knocked at the door with the food, which had to be freezing cold after being driven all around for more than half an hour.We live meters away from the restaurant. Disappointed is an understatement, we heard good things and now well never get to try it."

"Really enjoyed our Curry Night at the Bombay Lounge! The ambience is simple, but it 's clean. Food was great, came in reasonable time and the service was friendly and quick on his feet. The only issue was down to the inclement weather outside. It was very cold outside, and because people were leaving and coming regularly, the room went cold quickly. "Food was 30 min LONGER wait then we were told as the Deliveroo deliveries were more important then anyone else. Food was missing from order even though we were apparently waiting on our food to be cooked, how could we be waiting for something that wasn’t made. Made tons worse by all the food being stone cold. "I have order £30 worth of curry’s to night as has had family over. All curry’s was very basic and bland no favour what so ever I had four pieces of tiny mutton in mine. Also all curry’s was lay in loads of water so rice got soaked up with all the rice so just looked and tasted horrible. Never had bad experience in past orders. But really unhappy with fact was not will to compromise with some form of refund there answer was that’s wat u get with just ordering a curry. Well I’m sorry but i always order this curry and never lay in so much water and tasted so bland. "The foods are really tasty but there is still fault in some dishes. We ordered garlic king prawns, masala aloo, Nan, rice and saffron tandoori mixed stater. We are very happy with garlic king prawns and Nan. Rice is a bit hard though and others are just okay. Decoration is a bit out of date too. Surprisingly, the prices are nearly the same as London. I would suggest that they could either redecorate the place with this price or adjust the price accordingly."

"This was just Ok for me. First off I ordered a lamb samosa, I don't like spicy, this didn't say it was spicy and yet it was very hot and I only took one bite! It ruined the rest of the meal. Nothing else seemed to have any seasoning, the butter chicken was jus really bland for me, I have had better. Maybe my taste has changed but I struggle these days to find a good indian takeaway. Disappointed. Binned most of it. It would be nice also if these places did smaller portions for one person, far too much."
