"So I did Ping Pong twice in a week. Once with a friend because it was local (St Paul's) and second, because I was at Wembley for a concert and it was the one with the smallest queue. Ping Pong has never really been a draw for me in the past, its never been a case of I MUST GO THERE. I have passed it several times when in Westfield Stratford and settled on Bumpkin, Busaba Eathai, even TGI Friday's. I am starting to come around to dim sum. With recent visits to Hakkasan, Bintang and Mama Lan, these tasty Chinese style bite sized pockets of goodness are growing on me. Ping Pong spaces are always quite big. I love the dark wood and rich chocolately interior. I live for the island seating, watching the Chefs do their thing (not at all locations). For now, I will focus on Wembley, simply because I was impressed with the seamless service regardless of the fact that it was mad busy with concert goers everywhere. We queued for 45 minutes which is to be expected with 65,000 people in the area. This was made up of actually standing in the queue and then having a drink at the bar. The system they have is good, they take your mobile and call you when your table is ready. This is the only way for them to successfully navigate through the traffic of bar customers and queuing hungry people. At the bar, my only negative so far was that the wine was not chilled so we needed ice. Diluted wine is not a good thing. Once we were sat, our waitress was unaffected by the demanding clientele in her section, was chirpy and attentive. The sequence of service was flawless. Drinks arrived promptly, food arrived as it was ready. The food was good. All the staff floated around the room, appearing to be in control. If there was tension, I could not see it. This site is obviously built for volume on days like this and they have the right team to facilitate it. In terms of food, I will amalgamate both dining experiences as they were on par. We went all out ordering duck spring rolls, prawn on toast with mango salsa and soft shell crab. There was also prawn and chive dumplings, I had black prawn dumpling. Honeyed chicken and mushroom rice pot and vegetable sticky rice completed the banquet. I think that Ping Pong lends itself well to sharing. There is so much goodness, it would be rude not to share. I will continue my dim sum journey and if Ping Pong happens to be in the vicinity, it will certainly be considered for another visit."

"I recently had the pleasure of dining at Aamchi Mumbai, and I must say that it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. This restaurant consistently delivers amazing food, impeccable service, and undoubtedly provides the best dining experience every time. The exceptional food alone does not guarantee a memorable dining experience. What truly sets Aamachi Mumbai apart is their unparalleled service. The staff members are attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about ensuring that guests have a remarkable time. "I've eaten here a few times with my partner and always been blown away by the food, so for my birthday this year I thought I'd arrange a meal with some friends to share the deliciousness with loved ones. Big mistake. The restaurant clearly don't want to cater for large parties (there were 12 adults and 4 kids in our group . We booked an early table at 5pm to make this easier for the restaurant and free up the space for evening diners. From the moment of our arrival we were treated with utter contempt, bits of our order never turned up, drinks took ages to arrive. When it came to leaving, we were told we had underpaid by £25 but previously the waitress had said we had completely covered before I'd even paid my portion so the £25 I paid for my meal was essential the tip (way more than 10% . The hostile manager wouldn't let us leave and insisted we pay the missing money plus a tip. After we left we checked all our receipts (though most of us paid in cash , added them up and saw we had indeed been swindled. I am genuinely devastated because I have loved eating here until this point, but I won't be going back because of the way we were treated. If you are a solo diner or couple then please do visit because the food is absolutely out of this world, but if you are a large party please avoid the awful experience I was unfortunate to have at the hands of such a grumpy man completely devoid of human kindness (who really shouldn't be front of house ."

"I went to dinner with a friend to celebrate my new job. Unfortunately from start to end it was not a good experience. A waiter took our drinks order and part of our food order, my diet coke was flat and I asked him to change it which he did. I received a can instead which was warm and poured it into the glass of minimal ice and a thin slice of lemon, immediately the warm coke melted the ice and so the coke had no taste. I asked him what fish was in the Tandoori curry and he did not know, he stood there for a while then decided to go and ask, it was Tilapia. Then another waiter came over and asked to take our order, we told him that we had already given it to the other waiter, nevertheless we proceeded to repeat ourselves and he noted it on his I Pad. At this point we were confused and left wondering why the first waiter had not returned, it may be that he was new and confused himself, very strange. My friend ordered the prawn biriyani and okra curry, she said the biriyani was nice, but her okra skin was tough and inedible, she had to squeeze out the contents of it. My tilapia curry was very disappointing, there were very few pieces of fish in there and it was hot but very bland, my cauliflower curry had more taste than it. It was clear to me that their ingredients were far inferior than others I have visited, there was no authentic taste at all. Another negative was that one of the waiters welcomed 2 customers, and it seemed that one was celebrating a birthday, he may have known them from before because he spent plenty of time chatting to them but ignoring other customers, this is very unprofessional. I work in the hospitality industry and I would never spend a vast amount of my time speaking to just one table of customers. My advice to them would be to seek someone to train the staff professionally on their conduct and service, as it is all about the customer experience if they want them to return and write positive reviews. Also seek suppliers who can offer more quality products, prices to customers may have to increase but it will improve their reputation."
