"I have never eaten at a better Italian restaurant than this one. The food is fresh and all made from scratch, including the pasta and ice cream. The flavors are amazing, and I have been a fan of this place for a long time. I only wish I had discovered it sooner. I had the Calamari and King Prawns Pizza, as well as the Chicken in Mushroom and Brandy Sauce, and the service was outstanding. The atmosphere is calm and relaxed, making me feel like I am back in Italy. The decor is fresh and clean. I am definitely coming back."

"really tasty eating, I will return definitiw. I ordered the falafel wrap that was huge! about 12 centimeters long and the hands down the best falafel I ever had. I also had the batata harra starter that was so good. also the baba ghanouj, served with homemade, beautifully fresh and authentic brot. the only complaining was that the dings were not very warm, but eating was so delicious that it was not really important. my compliments to the excellent chefs. I'm back!"

"Il Bacio Express is a disappointment to those looking for delicious Italian food. There was a time when eating at Il Bacio was a thrilling experience, but that is no longer the case. I ordered a spaghetti bolognese and a bocconcini di pomodoro salad for £11.75, which arrived promptly. However, upon opening the container, I found the spaghetti to be dry and lacking in meat. It seemed as though only a tablespoon of sauce had been added. After tasting it, I was left wondering what had happened to the quality of their food. Unfortunately, it seems that Il Bacio has gone downhill."

"So absolutely delicious and it's BYO which is great. The portion sizes are two small tacos for each dish which is quite small (they do recommend two plates each) so i would like this to reflected a little more in the price. Overall I will definitely come back again and again."

"Maaroni is my local as it is less than a 5-minute walk from me. Not only have I eaten here a countless number of times since it opened, I also get takeaways from here often. Unfortunately, this was the first time I had ever been left feeling very disappointed. To begin with, I was given a bottle of sparkling water with no glass, let alone lemon/ice/straw. Had to ask for a glass I was not going to drink out of a big bottle. It was difficult to explain things to our waitress, especially as we wanted to remove some pizza toppings and add on others; I had to show her the menu with toppings written down so that she could catch the spellings. Moreover, I requested for cacio e pepe, and the waitress confirmed that the chefs would be able to make anything off-menu. I had to explain what the dish was, and showed the waitress the list of ingredients for it. She went back and forth several times to the chef and I, and ultimately said that the kitchen did not have pecorino cheese. I said that that could be substituted for the next best thing, as long as the sauce was creamy, cheesy, buttery and peppery. When the dish arrived, it was a buttery spaghetti with a lump of cheese in the top. At this point, another waitress began to serve our table. Let her know that the cheese should be almost melted in; she took the dish back for it to be re-made which took a long time, by which point we had nearly finished our mains. After our mains we were told that we need to leave within 15 minutes, and we were not given dessert menus nor did we request the bill, it just arrived. I had brought my aunt and uncle to Macaroni for the first time and they were looking forward to dessert. It was highly embarrassing that this option was not even offered, and even more embarrassing that we were rushed off the table. There were 5 of us, 1hr 45mins is not enough time for a relaxed 3-course meal. If the restaurant is unable to honour a 3-course meal for 5 people, they should not confirm the booking."

"Service was not very consistent. Some of the staff where very polite and attentive, others were quite aloof and not aware of their customer needs. The food was fine, nothing to complain about at all with a fairly average menu. The wine was lovely, however overpriced. "Please do not eat at this restaurant. We only selected it because of the ratings and wanted a good Italian. My payment was not going through, it said the restaurant was unresponsive. So I called the restaurant to ask what to do. He asked me to order over the phone and pay cash. So I did this and went to pick it up. About ten minutes later, I got an email saying the restaurant had accepted my online order and had now taken my payment of 40 pounds out of my bank. I called the restaurant to ask his advice and he was so rude. He told me to pay cash and that my payment had not gone through and he wouldn’t get that money off Just Eat. At this point I was confused and seeked online help from the just eat robot online. They checked my order and confirmed I had paid for it. They told me to go to the restaurant and show the conversation between me and just eat to the owner and collect my food. I went to the restaurant and the guy was so rude. He refused to give me my food unless I paid cash. I tried to show him my bank statement and also the just eat help thread and he refused. I then got onto the help robot again whilst in the restaurant. They said the man needed to call them on the direct number so they could confirm to him it’s gone through. He also refused to do this. He started raising his voice at this point as to how much pressure he was under after Christmas and he had no one else helping him etc. At this point I was more than annoyed. I said he was out of order for putting all that on me ? Why is that my problem? I’ve paid 40 pounds, I’ve done everything he’s asked me to do ..... originally it was a delivery order and he told me to come collect it instead. And yet he was behaving like this. He then asked me to leave. I did. I left with no food, 1.5 hours of my life gone .... and no refund from him or just eat. Please rest assured I’ll be taking this further."

"we went to the bella for a tasty bite and try our local ice cream place. we usually go to another salon in the south, no names, because I'm not sure if I can put names on this. it is not cheating, at £37 for 2 adults and 2 children, but they are 13 years old and eat like adult. it costs a lot for ice, but it is not just ice. we had the 2 waffels, a chocolate brownie sunflower, and the doughnut thing that they see in the picture, but can not remember it is name, 1 milkshake and a bottle fanta. the portions are large, the ice is delicious and they have a lot to choose from the menu, I was happy to pay for eating and how nice it was. the workers are really nice and friendly, and considering how busy it was, we were served quite quickly. what I would say, this is negatiw an bella if they have to sit in them and order them from the to the table, but not really biggie, but I would like to order from the table. it's the same with other ice salons I was on, though. the only other was how to load it was inside, it sounds so echoey. I don't say a big problem just my thoughts. we will now go back to our local, and then we have others."

"This restaurant is a jack of all trades but master of none. I ordered the penne con pollo and found it to be completely lacking in flavor and character. My friend even commented that the sauce tasted like a strange mix of ketchup and milk. "The Menu is brilliant and has a great array of choices. In the end we chose the baba ganouch starter to share it cae with quite exquisite crumbly goat's cheese and garlicky baba ganouch and a beautiful puffed up bread followed by mixed kebab for 2 (it's a Turkish restaurant after all the kebab was barbequed lamb, chicken breast, legs and wings with a big lamb shsih kebab, salad and we had fries..all were delicious and plenty for 2....finished off with good turkish coffee (black, slightly sweetened) and turkish tea (black, no milk) and turkish delight superb.....The service was brilliant..even had my fortune told based on the coffee grounds! This is the second time we have been there and there will definitely be a third time and more..."

"the restaurant is local, but it is quite not descriptive from the outside. it is on the small side, quite basic and in an unattractive parade of shops. yet that besides the restaurants fokus offers good Italian cuisine at a great price. the service was both fast and polite. we shared a large starter of mixed antipasti with plenty of meat, cheese and broth. for our main we chose two pizzas that were both big and packed with toppings (pizzeria chains to shame). our son had meatballs and spaghetti from the children's menu that contains a dessert. the house (red) wein was ok, but there is a decent wine list to choose from. we will definitely go back, it is one of the more authentic Italians in the opposite."
