"I like to spend special occasions on the table. I enjoy, above all, the British tradition of the afternoon, with its combination of aromas and sweets. with a birthday to celebrate we decided to give aria restaurant on a jump. it is located in one of the most striking buildings on the lively broad street, the hyatt regency birmingham. atmosphere the hotel is a large modern building with a glamorous interieur. enormous leaf trees and plants penetrate the tee room, which flows with the light through the very high glass ceiling. the ambiente is very quiet and relaxing with background music and the cooling sound of a water. there are generous space between tables that have a bit more private sphere to enjoy themselves and almost forget the other diners. foods a afternoon tablet with delicate sweets and aromen was served with our tees. After reading other reviews before, I expected certain options that did not appear. I realized that the hotel varies from time to time the afternoon menu. the waiter asked about special requirements and in my case I am not a fan of mayonnaise so they were happy to make a few alternative sandwich options for me. there was a nice selection of “sans crust” fingersandwiches, which put together two-bite sections: cheese and cucumber, salmon and cheese, bark and gherkin, sink and sink, ice and cres and (for me) thunfisch and tomaten. two more alternative fillings I had were goat cheese and caramelized red wobble, and carrot and hummus. the sweets on the tablet were homemade simple scones, apple cake, black forest cake and a modern twist of the classic strawberry cake. Cloped cream, celestial and earthy jam was available to hide the scones. we haven't spent much time looking for the tea and coffee menu, as we already knew what we wanted. Among the options they can choose, however, are a lot of freshly brewed, loose leafed and ground coffee. I went for my ordinary zitrusig earl grey tee, while my partner decided to have a classic breakfast with milk. not complaining. Pricing traditional afternoon tea will be at £19.00 per person, £28.00 per person if you decide to go for the champagne afternoon tea or £30.00 for the rose champagne afternoon tea. the afternoon was perfect: a beautiful place, friendly and attentive staff, great service, excellent food and a relaxing atmosphere. I would consider it the perfect way to celebrate a special occasion."
