"Fantastic night outside! The food was nice and quickly got out. The staff was so sweet and well maintained, very accommodating. We were searched by Cher, so funny and hospitable! So friendly and welcoming! The toilets were in good shape, the accessible and other toilets had really nice interior. atmosphere was good, music was on the perfect volume! I really recommend the Espresso Martini and the brush."

"I had booked an afternoon tea for my friend's birthday and overall we had a lovely time with pizza instead of sandwiches and panettone scones which were lovely. The only drawback was that there were 4 different cakes on the top tier of the afternoon tea but they were between the 2 of us so we had to cut some in half and choose one each (as you can't cut a panna cotta in half! . The other thing which annoyed me a bit was that we had to pay for extra tea, which we have never had to do before with afternoon teas. Everything did taste lovely though."

"The menu has changed and the food has gone severely downhill. We ordered the bruschetta and the hummus for starters and the bruschetta was just two small pieces of toasted bread with half cut up cherry tomatoes and two dollops of mozzarella. The hummus was a tiny pot of hummus with ONE tiny bit of toasted bread. How on Earth you’re supposed to eat the amount of hummus you’re given with one bit of bread I’ll never know. For mains we had the pepperoni pizza and the duck pasta and the pepperoni had huge bits of onion on, neither of us minded that there was onion on it but it was poorly cut and had huge clusters of onions stuck together, it was just poor. The pasta was mediocre and did not have enough sauce and was lukewarm and when I mentioned this to the waitress she said sorry but no attempt was made to rectify any of these issues (through no fault of hers she was very new I am blaming the restaurant not her)"

"They seemed surprised to see us when we arrived, which wasn't very welcoming. Our table wasn't cleared, and there was a constant line of delivery drivers standing next to our table, making the atmosphere feel chaotic. Even though the restaurant wasn’t full, the service was disorganized. I was glad I ordered double pepperoni on my pizza because there wasn’t much on it to begin with. My partner's pasta, however, was much better with plenty of shrimp. Overall, it was just okay, and I wouldn’t rush back."

"We had booked as a family of four to celebrate my husbands birthday. He was slightly dubious as he would normally choose somewhere smaller and more intimate. He was pleasantly surprised! The food was excellent, the service was fantastic.. and our waitresss went the extra mile by service his brownie with a candle and we all got to sing “ happy birthday” he was embarrassed but loved it., so we will definitely be returning."

"I went to Bella Italia in Clifton Moor, York for a meal before a movie. We were seated promptly and our waitress, Connie, was very friendly and accommodating. She even offered to read the menu for me when I realized I had forgotten my glasses. We started with the shrimp, which was plentiful and delicious. My partner ordered the carbonara and I had the chicken with mushrooms, both dishes were generous portions and tasty. Connie recommended the gelato choux for dessert and it was indeed amazing. Even my partner, who usually doesn't have dessert, couldn't resist sharing it with me. Overall, we were very pleased with our meal which included 2 coffees, 2 bottles of Stella, a large glass of red wine, and a diet coke for £64. It was definitely worth the money and Connie's excellent service added to a lovely evening. I would highly recommend Bella Italia in Clifton Moor, York."

"I took my two children to the restaurant two hours earlier than originally planned, arriving at 5 PM instead of 7 PM. The hostess did not make any eye contact with me and seemed more focused on her laptop. When she asked if I had a reservation, I mentioned that I did not for this time since the restaurant was empty. I’ve never encountered such a cold greeting at a restaurant before. She led us to a table without making eye contact or engaging in any conversation. I was ready to leave, but my children were hungry after our day at Legoland. When I inquired if we could sit in a standing area (where all but one table was empty), she told me those tables were reserved. Her attitude and tone in response were shocking. I questioned her again, asking if it was really possible that all of them were reserved, and she responded with an eye roll and a smirk before taking us to the standing area. I was taken aback by her behavior and have decided that I will not be returning to this restaurant. It’s essential for someone in her position to be welcoming to customers, unlike the person who served us, who was truly amazing."

"The staff were nice apart from one of them had jeans, t-shirt and trainers on, got given a table which wasn’t enough room for 4 adults and a high chair, it was a quiet Monday night but service was really slow it took 90 minutes before we ordered our desserts, and the carbonara was really watery, apart from that everything was okay"

"I had a meal here before heading to the cinema and it was my first time dining at this restaurant. The service was very friendly, although it was a bit slow. We mentioned early on a Saturday night that we had a cinema reservation, and our food arrived quickly so we could make it on time. The meal itself was enjoyable—hot and very tasty. I would definitely visit again when I have another cinema booking."

"the food was excellent and the staff was so nice, we had a great night, my only problem was that when I was booked I was asked what menu I wanted and we decided to have the 3 curs for £15.99. So when we arrived and chose our meal times for a 3 curs, we were charged from the normal menu, so ended with about £80 for eating instead of £48 when they are asked what menu they want when booking, I think the restuarant should know and give them the right menu when they arrive, so there is not an unfortunate end to their night."

"First visit to your restaurant in Uxbridge. Was looking forward to trying various items on the menu. Starters arrived and we were very disappointed. The cauliflower wings were tasteless and appeared to be fried from frozen. The accompanying guacamole did not taste fresh or authentic as you would expect from a Mexican restaurant. We also ordered halloumi bites which also lacked flavour and tasted and looked like shop bought frozen halloumi sticks, again not what you would expect in a restaurant as a paying customer. When the mains arrived, the chicken burrito was served with a watery salsa dip. Despite ordering a hot option, the burrito was flavourless and again lacked any Mexican authenticity. Our overall impression of your restaurant was poor and we will not be returning again. I believe there was no value and cost of items on your menu does not meet the quality of the food that is being served."

"The employees were very accommodating despite our late arrival due to traffic, ensuring that our food arrived on time so we wouldn't miss the start of our movie at the nearby cinema. One child in our group has a peanut allergy, and the staff inquired about any allergies before seating us. The waiter took special care with this order, delivering it separately to make sure everyone was informed. It was a very comforting and stress-free experience, especially with their attention to food allergies. The food was delicious and affordable. I would definitely eat here again!"

"We arrived just before our booked time of 8pm. We got our main courses at 9pm making us late for the cinema. Our daughter had to take her pizza in a box to the cinema and then eat it at home afterwards. The noise from the bar and the shouting from the kitchen staff was unacceptable."

"We got held up by an incident on the motorway quite close to the turnoff for the theatre we were attending in Salford Quays. We had booked a table at Bella Italia (opposite the theatre) at 6.00 pm before the gig but it was obvious we weren't going to make it in time so we contacted the restaurant to let them know. The guy sat the other end of the phone, Chris, said to come into the restaurant anyway whenever we arrived and they would see if they could find a table for us and serve us quickly. We got there about 6.30 and he was as good as his word. Some nice pasta and a glass of wine later, we left at 7.20 in good time for the performance. We were totally impressed by this Bella Italia experience"

"This restaurant used to be fantastic, and the food was consistently excellent. However, the portion sizes for the starters are now very small. The pizza should be served either already sliced or at least presented on a wooden board with a pizza cutter; we found it nearly impossible to cut with a knife and fork. The caramel dessert tasted awful as well. It seems the quality has declined. This was our first visit after the shutdown, and we used to come here regularly, about once a month, either before or after going to the cinema. We left feeling very disappointed, especially since we were all so excited to return. I hope someone will read and take these reviews seriously."
