the staff and andy, our waiter, were very friendly and, as we were late, they ensured a very fast service so that we could get to the theater in time.

Great place to eat before our theatre visit. Food was above par, staff friendly and price was right. I would definitely eat there again if i'm visiting the Lowry.

It was a great night as it was my birthday. Chris made us feel incredibly welcome and we will definitely be returning soon. The food was outstanding and you couldn't go wrong with anything on the menu.

Lovely waiter who really took care of me. This was a pre-theatre meal and I was served all three delicious courses in time but without feeling rushed so that I was on time for my arrival slot at The Lowry. Will definitely return next theatre trip! Thank you!????

The staff at Bella Italia were very attentive and friendly. Food was great and was very impressed that they remembered a drink I had mentioned I fancied trying. During our latest visit to this restaurant, we were disappointed with both the service and the food. My wife ordered a dish from the menu, but was informed that one of the components was unavailable. She agreed to a replacement of mushrooms, but when the meal arrived, it was missing the cheese that should have been included.

The restaurant provided a warm welcome and overall good service, although we were disappointed that the waiter disappeared before we could request black pepper and parmesan. The pasta with porcini mushrooms was decent, but lacked depth of flavor. The Vesuvius dish was supposed to be spicy, but it was overpowering and masked all other flavors.

We got held up by an incident on the motorway quite close to the turnoff for the theatre we were attending in Salford Quays. We had booked a table at Bella Italia (opposite the theatre) at 6.00 pm before the gig but it was obvious we weren't going to make it in time so we contacted the restaurant to let them know. The guy sat the other end of the phone, Chris, said to come into the restaurant anyway whenever we arrived and they would see if they could find a table for us and serve us quickly. We got there about 6.30 and he was as good as his word. Some nice pasta and a glass of wine later, we left at 7.20 in good time for the performance.
