"I have previously visited this restaurant for weekend brunch, but had not gone since last year. I ordered the French toast and the omelette. Unfortunately, both dishes were not as good as they were in the past, but they were acceptable. I also mentioned that I was celebrating a milestone when I made the reservation, however, it was not acknowledged until the end of the meal when the waiter congratulated me while giving me the bill. Despite this, I appreciated the gesture, but it felt a bit late. The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff were friendly and welcoming overall."

"came here before a performance in the royal albert hall, a little early before our booking, but that was 't a problem and we sat immediately. service was a little slow to order, but eating was great! starters were chicken pliers and the popcorn garnel that was delicious. then we both got the bacon cheese smokehouse burger, which was also delicious. not too big, where you can't even hold it, great chips and beautiful 'schlaue. the BBQ sauce on the table was also delicious. tables very close together and busy atmosphere and she added a 12.5% service fee, which was somewhat annoying, but overall, a great experience, would return."

"The food was average, the prices were reasonable, but unfortunately, the overall experience was not worth the cost. I ordered the chicken satay and pomelo salad, but I was not impressed with either dish."

"we have booked to my man's birthday to eat 4.30 clock before we go to a show. we arrived 10 minutes early and were asked to wait in the hall on a sofa with several other people, then were shown to sit at the right time. we were not particularly welcome as we were taken down as there were so many people to dive around and then, as we tried to navigate the table, said the hostess, we had the table for 1 hour 30 minutes. Happy. When the waiter came to take our order, he said how they are, we answered well and asked him how he was, he replied atmospherically- only halfway through my layer. there was another table that celebrated a 60th birthday and frankly it was more like a Henne party that constantly screamed and singed, up to the point where we could not hear. eating was nice enough, but really the setting of the staff was not great. during booking we had the possibility of standard or high-seat - I chose high seating and honestly no warning, what that meant? I have also made special wish that it was my man's birthday and nothing was done? have they received this? I'm not sure what the point of this box is on the booking if it doesn't mean anything? to be fair, I could have said at the arrival, but the personal was so annoying and scarce, I could not really be harassed as we already made a cake for him. it wasn't the worst place I had eaten, and I would probably go back when someone invited me, but it didn't bother me to visit again."

"We were disappointed with The Woodman which has, in the past, always been so so good. Firstly, we were told that we hadn’t booked an outdoor table despite showing the actual booking which confirmed that we did; the outside table that we were given/dumped on couldn’t have been smaller and wobbled whilst we sat and watched couples we were three being given huge tables for four. Eventually, we took it upon ourselves to move to a bigger table and were seen at our new table very quickly. The lemonade brought to my daughter turned out to be soda water; eventually she was brought a tiny bottle of Fever Tree as they had run out of lemonade ! which she couldn’t drink as it’s not really aimed at 11 year olds. My first two choices of Main Dish were unavailable, my third choice “meh” but the kids enjoyed their burgers very much. The pub was busy as it was a nice, sunny Sunday as well as Father’s Day and staff seemed totally run off their feet but trying to make eye contact with them meant that we waited longer for the bill than we did for the food."

"Went to the Liquor Store using a gin experience voucher. Had a great time sampling an array of gins, learnt about the history of the drink and completed the whole experience by being shown how and then mixing our own gin cocktails!! Well worth the visit. Would definitely visit this bar the next time we're in Manchester."

"I went there with my boyfriend like 1 month ago and I’m really disappointed. First of all nice location and nice decoration. Toilet and inside all clean , our table wasn’t and they just give us the dirty table. Then I don’t know why but we didn’t receive a good service, specially from one that I think it was the manager or head waiter. Eggs Benedict and the curry not bad but the steak..so expensive for just a small and ridiculous steak that has no flavour and it wasn’t tender and well cook. I definitely not recommend this place and I will never come back but i wish you guys the best and i hope you improve."

"a small group of us has decided to be halla posh and go to bluebird. unfortunately no mic is, but this has not distracted from our wonderful experience. the decor is very trendy, with a knot of industrial-chish elements...exposed iron beams hanging on the deck, aiming windows with glassy/mirror card-like things (clearly describe modern art is not my forte,) much natural/sexy light (that if it is dark out of its more shaded) and comfortable couches and long table plates are expensive but the drinks. the bartenders live their call. to be fair, my drink was quite basic. g"

"Happy Hour from 5 to 7:30. We have frequented this bar many times over the years for the monthly music quiz and always enjoyed ourselves. On this particular visit, we arrived around 6:45 for the 7:30 quiz start time. We ordered a couple of beers and cocktails for my daughters, taking advantage of the Happy Hour specials. However, we were informed by the bartender that Happy Hour did not apply to quiz participants. Despite there being no mention of this exception on posters or in the menus, we were told we would have to pay full price. This seemed like a ridiculous rule and left us with a negative impression of the bar's attitude. Fortunately, my brother-in-law was able to get the drinks at half price by claiming he was not there for the quiz. In the future, guests should be aware of any hidden rules and the venue should clarify their policies."

" in together. The chicken satay arrived first, it was lukewarm and lacked flavor. The pomelo salad came shortly after, and was underwhelming in taste and portion size. The bill came and I was shocked at how much I had paid for such mediocre food. Overall, not a great experience."

"Attractive decor and smart vibes, and also pretty good service. I was lured by the free Prosecco offered on joining Prezzo, but all in all the food didn’t blow my mind. The menu was very varied and interesting, so I decided the goat’s cheese bruschetta and olives to start. The former was piping hot and tasty but too small. The latter were dry, shrivelled and overall off the mark. My main, the Tuscan sauce with lentil, looked appetising but had no wow factor: those sausages could have come from any ordinary supermarket, but I expected them to be tender and flavoursome. I really feel this is a point for improvement. The house white was also insipid. I would imagine the pizza here is good given the classic Italian pizza oven that is used, but I wanted to try something more off piste here and was unfortunately not particularly taken. Perhaps the kitchen was having a bad day?"

"Two minutes from Kentish Town station is the new branch of Joe’s Southern Kitchen Bar. Having walked past its Covent Garden branch, I always made a mental note to visit it. But as the London food scene keeps on expanding, so does my list of restaurants/cafes/popups to visit To celebrate the opening of Joe’s in Kentish Town and to showcase Executive Chef Trevor Tobin (Steam Rye, The Big Easy and Goodman) and his team’s culinary finesse in the kitchen, we were invited down for the press night. Whilst we had a large corner table, the place was quite busy for 6:30PM in the evening as it was also open to the general public. Hence, you can tell whether the restaurant is genuinely...read more"

"Stopped in for what we thought would be a quick and light lunch but ended up eating and drinking far more than we anticipated. As we watched amazing platters full of colorful sushi pass by our table we decided to order a bottle of saki and dive in. We devoured a platter that started with a hot selection with skewers of lamb chops (so tender and juicy) cubes of cheese wrapped in bacon (omg could have eaten a plate of these) and a chicken dish (not so memorable but had hard competition). A bowl of edamame was included but maybe I'm just used to getting these in US restaurants as I was surprised they were served cold as this made it too difficult to eat I thought. As we had so much food I was not too disappointed Our sushi platter was almost to pretty to eat, but we did. Certainly plenty of food with the platter options and quite a few selections on offer that makes me want to return"

"Visited this restaurant last night. It was quite busy with a large party, but the restaurant was no where near full capacity. I waited for over an hour to be served any food. When I eventually asked where my food was the waitress said that it hadn't even been cooked yet. It was 9:30 and we were starving so had to walk out of the restaurant! Never in my life have I had to do that. Very poorly organised restaurant, which is a shame as there is clearly a demand for this type of restaurant in the area. Sort it out Ting Tong. Very disappointed customer."

"The staff were friendly and attentive, making for a very pleasant dining experience. The three types of meat were excellent. However, a slightly broader selection of vegetables would have been appreciated, perhaps including options like cauliflower cheese or braided red cabbage."

"Nice little restaurant for a casual dinner. Friendly staff and nice food. Food was tasty but not outstanding for its type. Falafel for example had a sauce drizzled over which was tasty but was not much of it. Hummus was nice but lacked a bit of zing. Good value I thought."

"We were greeted with exceptional service from the moment we entered the restaurant. The menu offers a diverse range of options, including some truly delicious dishes. The ambiance is stunning, with seating under a majestic blossom tree. Despite feeling like a high-end dining experience, the friendly staff make it approachable and welcoming."
