A creamy blend of tender potatoes, fresh herbs, and a tangy dressing, perfect for a light and refreshing side dish.

"First impression on walking into this restaurant within the college was a surprise at how smart, well furnished and decorated it is. Lovely comfortable chairs and well spaced tables. As good as any top class restaurant. The student staff were all smartly dressed with name tags and we were given a very warm welcome. There was a selection of fresh baked rolls waiting on the table for us. The menu, which changes regularly, had a choice of three dishes for each course and was very reasonably priced. A full wine list of wines by glass and bottle was also well priced. The food was excellent and very well presented. Altogether a great experience and we will definitely go again."

"We booked the table via openTable not direct. I wish we had! They did know we were coming, unfortunately our table was not in the expected restaurant part as this was booked for a Christmas party, we were shown to our table by a very embarrassed person, the table was in the entrance hall of a very busy bar which was extreamly busy with Saturday night drinking parties and people standing all around us, this is not what I hoped or expected for my partners birthday meal! As we were extremely unhappy and uncomfortable in this situation we let the embarrassed member of staff know who also apologised and agreed it was bad situation and we left."

"I must say... WOW! The food at this place is absolutely amazing. We went for a New Year's meal with friends and family and we were blown away. I highly recommend this restaurant."

"My partner treated me to a birthday lunch at Kipferl as we both love Käsespätzle which is a dish popular in his hometown of Voralberg in Austria. It is a dish we know well and eat often when there. Their menu promised the cheese was from Voralberg and we had high expectations for an authentic dish given this restaurant is meant to be authentically Austrian! Upon arriving we were seated quickly and ordered our meal in good time. We both ordered: käsespätzle and Kartoffel salat (Potato salad). My partner also ordered a soup of the day. Both of us had had a very light breakfast and were excited to enjoy one of our fave dishes again. The soup was watery and tasteless, made edible only by the sourdough bread. On reflection I wish we had ordered as we went along ... as this was a sure signal of the poor quality food emerging from the kitchen! When the Käsespätzle arrived the distinct cheese aroma was missing... first sign it was not what was promised. OMG! this was the WORST Käsespätzle EVER! Käsespätzle is made using four types of cheese (Käse) from the area of Voralberg This cheese is unique to Voralberg and the dish CANNOT be made without it! Without it the flavour and strongly distinct smell are missing. Whatever type of cheese they used it was definitely not the specific cheeses required for this dish The spätzle was disgusting. All you could taste was egg! The texture was wrong... it is meant to be small well formed kernels of spätzle dough instead it was soft and almost mashed... In no way did it resembled what we always eat when visiting Voralberg. The flavour, aroma and presentation was completely WRONG. The Kartoffel (potato) salad was just as awful too. Massive rounds of potato swimming in dressing. This is such a wonderful dish when made correctly... sadly this was my WORST birthday meal EVER! We were both incredibly disappointed esp. as several years ago we had tried Kipferl in Wes London (now closed) and the Käsespätzle was editle then. Clearly the chef doesn't know how to make this dish or just can't be bothered! We CANNOT recommend Kipferl as what they promise on their menu in terms of Käsespätzle is definitely NOT what it should be, not worth the price and a rip off. We were so disappointed that we ended up not having a pudding/cake and took our business elsewhere to L'Etro in London where the cakes were excellent and where I could have had a great birthday meal with my partner.. .incredibly disappointing!"

"I highly recommend this new bar and restaurant for a fantastic dining experience. The Fischeintopf dish, similar to Thai curry, is a must-try. Additionally, they have live Brazilian music in the evenings with dancing. The service is personalized, and they offer a variety of cocktails. The decor is unique and beautiful, with plant-covered walls and comfortable seating. This place has become a new favorite of mine!"

"A Belgian style restaurant, so the mussels were what I went for. Good quantity as a main, tasty and perfectly cooked. Surprised that I had to ask for mayo for the frites and that it came in a McD-style paper sauce pot. My wife not keen on much of the menu so had Croque Monsieur which she thought would be pretty standard fare. She was delighted to find it the best she'd had and was surprised at the flavour of what she thought would be a simple dish. We'd started with Bier and Gruyere croquettes and chicken schnitzel, both tasty with schiracha mayo, other dip choices available. Finished with waffles which were superb and offered with great topping choices. Service was good, attentive, although my Flemish coffee was cooling by the time dessert arrived. Big plus here is the astonishing collection of beers available, a must for lovers of Belgian beers. Just a shame that three of the gins including the continental one I wanted were unavailable so my G&T aperitif was a compromise, but still quite good. Would definitely eat and drink here again, especially as the Grand Cafe is open from midday."

"The overall experience was very pleasant and we were well looked after and the' birthday boy' had some candles on his sweet, provides by the kitchen. The food was well presented and for the most part ,good value I will go there again but my disappointment was that the vegetarian option was limited to one fairly ordinary omelette and with my son's problems of allergy to mushrooms and dislike of fish , there was little flexibility in the limited menu. I may have mistakenly read the website menu, which seemed to suggest that there were three menu's to choose from rather than the one we received on arrival. If booking ,it would be worth checking by phone what the menu provides for the day of your choice, if there are allergy issues etc."

"really sweet and welcoming, we sat at the table of the cook and was incredibly well maintained, especially with my nutritional requirements. it was fascinating to see the dishes prepared and the warmth of the fire was nice, warn, although they pick up the smokey smell on their clothes etc. must try, is the lamb and speck tacos, very tasty!"

"the restaurant was busy and the service was good that they even accommodated us because of the train too late. we had the meme for two, but unfortunately the hawn kebab was over boiled and dry and slightly burned and the lamb balls were also dry. that I fought to cut one in the half was so hard. the garnels tasted of nothing and the sosse in which they were, were also very blasphemy, so the sose was the fleshballs. the coleslaw of the chicken kebab was on appeared to be old, as the koleslaw was just a soggy-mash with hardly any cripple on it, we were told that it is made daily, but I could not help think it was bought in huge catering tubs or if it is sold daily old/close after date produced. the positive is the first cure was beautiful the Greek brot with cuddly and red pfeffer spicy dip. I am sad to say for somewhere with good reviews, it was very disappointing and we will not go back"

"The restaurant boasts a lovely view of the canal and Mile End Park, providing a charming backdrop for a beautiful evening. However, it can be a bit tricky to get to. The waitstaff were attentive, though perhaps a touch inexperienced, and they seemed pleased that we enjoyed our meal at a leisurely pace. The portions were generous; the Sharing Platter Starter, designed for two, easily served four, especially with the plentiful warm Turkish bread. The food was delicious, well-presented, and the Rioja was outstanding."

"I would give this restaurant 4 out of 5 stars. The food is delicious and the place is clean. The only drawback is that they only serve one portion of each meat, and if you ask for more, the waiters seem to avoid you or refuse. It's a bit strange since you've already paid for the meal. Other than that, everything else is good and I would still recommend it."

"I really enjoyed bubbacue, it had relaxed atmosphere, choice of sandwiches (the other were and looked really delicious,) bowl (kept) or salat. meat choices were pork (spoken or spicy sausage,) beef or chicken, with halloumi for vegetarians. these ties in beautiful with their sandwich wrap that I think is a great note (you can see the bowl sitting on them). sitting places were good, with dark wood and neon signs was cool. In portions sizes were good, as we had no breakfast and stopped until dinner. good selection of sauces on the tables let us add their own preference. the prices were also good, the menu with the trips is in the pictures."

"pizza was tasty what I suspect is the most important. I had a black carnitas especially with jalapeños and black beans, which was tasteful and on a thick teig base, which I like decor is bright and airy, quite removed back, but still a warm absent in the cold industry feel many places go for. on Sunday evening we were in so little atmosphere to speak as it is a great room to fill but the service left the place down and made the experience strange and down right awkward to time. when we entered a co-worker member, welcomed us from behind the bar, and shamefully sted in the general direction of some empty tables, when we do not have difficulty after a table for after a few intimidating interactions with him, including twice forgetting our ordering pizza) became clear, he was either totally unsuitable to serve the public or possibly drunk. I am convinced that it was the latter, an opinion that strengthened when the wrong pizza arrived for me. we spent the rest of the meal to avoid eye contact, hoping to avoid more unpleasant quiet. the imprint unprofessional worker was not supported by a group that drinks in the restaurant that would occasionally wander into the kitchen or the personal areas. I had great hopes for this risk at a seemingly cursed location and hope that problems will be excluded and succeed. However, if our experience indicates the standards set, pizza west can have even less time than the previous incarnations of bars/restaurants in this room. with so many other options near me I will not be pushed back."

"Family style Japanese restaurant with exceedingly high all round standard and authenticity in London. Some may find the menu is not overly comprehensive but this is exactly what a fine Japanese restaurant would operate only focusing the best they could offer. If you want to visit this restaurant make sure you have reservation and be punctual as this is also a fine tradition of Japanese restaurant."
