"Having eaten in many Italian restaurants, including in Italy, I find it near impossible to find a decent Italian restaurant. However, the food and atmosphere is as good as being in Italy. The food: Always delicious. I've eaten here more times than I can remember. I've never had a bad meal. The dishes are all full of taste with generous portions. Everything is homemade and tasting amazing. The service: The owner Fabio is a true host. He is friendly, welcoming and always happy to recommend and help you choose. Despite being busy he makes time to come to your table and say hello. Atmosphere: A restaurant with every table full, all smiling, laughing and often regulars, what more can you ask for. In my opinion you will love this restaurant. Everyone I have introduced has come again and repeatedly loved it."

"We were dinning here a few days ago. Waiter was standing and looking at us the whole time. We ordered pasta dishes, could eat quarter of it as all was swimming in butter and fat. Worst part was a dessert, after we ordered the other waiter at the bar was heating all our puddings in the microwave behind the counter and looking all the time that noone sees what he is doing. I would never go back, for the same price can eat fresh and nicely cooked food in other places."

"A small venue but definitely worth a visit if you get the chance! For Covent Garden felt it was well priced, food was delivered hot and very tasty. Great pizza bases pretty large too, service was great very friendly and helpful will definitely be back!!!"

"This was a mixed experience. I was looking forward to one of my favourite Italian meals: scaloppine al limone. My partner went for a classic spaghetti bolognese. The veal seemed to be a rather thick cut, and was tough. Thankfully, this was replaced with an apology for a chicken cacciatore, which was pretty good. The chef also made a fresh bolognese, rather than simply keeping my husband's meal warm. We almost left, though, at that point, as there were several people coming in not to eat, but one, very loudly on her phone and chatting with the waiter, followed by a fairly obnoxious man who seemed to be collecting a take away. We stayed for dessert, which was good delighted to see that they make zabaglione for only one, which is rare. Overall, service was very good, but the place has all the ambience of a take away. Don't go if you want to have a conversation with a companion."

"Gustavo Woltmann Incredible spot run by a coeliac owner. Nearly every dish can be prepared gluten-free, though there's a small fee for the gluten-free version. The owner, who was exceptionally friendly, took around 15/20 minutes to chat with us at the end, which was a delightful touch. "Having last visited this restaurant as a child and having very fond memories of family evenings there I was delighted to return today and find the same owners still in place and the same brilliant food. The owner could not have been more welcoming and my 6 year old daughter, having been gifted a free ice lolly after enjoying a delicious bowl of authentic spaghetti carbonara, described the restaurant as “the best in the world”"

"Despite a reservation for 630 we didn't sit down until 7.10pm. Lovely and friendly though and fairly apologetic so we didn't mind the wait. Very slow service unfortunately, which meant we didn't leave until 10.30pm. Wine was lovely, food exceptional. Only real gripe was one of our party has dietary issues and could not eat their meal literally only had a few mouthfuls) yet there was no way she could take it home with her very adamant that it had to all go in the bin £20 meal). Next time she will take her own container. Most eateries offer a box these days but hey ho. We spent a small fortune on drinks and food and a little limoncello at the end would have been a nice touch, especially as it was for a 70th birthday but even so, a great celebratory meal and we will definitely give it another go purely because of the authentic and fantastic food. Don't let this put you off just don't expect a quick meal if you're in a hurry."

"didn't know this place was even there. very backward inside, like an 80s Italian. they don't let it go. both eating and service were great. our waitress was really nice and offered us the pre-theater menu, although it was past time for it. the food arrived quickly and the portion sizes were really generous. after eating good and brilliant service we have another good surprise when the tiny bill arrived. we had three courses and a bottle of wine for £41. so good. we agreed that we would definitely visit azzurro again."

There was a live singer performing classic swing songs, which added to the fantastic ambiance. The food was delicious - the bruschetta was exceptional, and my son gave the calamari a glowing 'amazing and beautiful' review. The pizzas were freshly made and a good size, and I heard that the pasta dishes were also fantastic. As a bonus, Giuseppe himself came around to speak to each table, making the evening even more special. This restaurant offers classic rustic Italian cuisine and is definitely worth a visit."
