"Living locally allows us to visit this restaurant at a moment's notice and enjoy the beautiful views of the estuary on a late summer day. It is ideal for avoiding the tourist crowds. We chose to sit inside and order from the bar terrace menu. The service was exceptional, with water provided for our table. Despite our waitress admitting she was new to the venue, everything was very efficient. We had a variety of small plates to share, including fries, lamb kebabs, duck salad, and Thai balls with dipping sauce. Everything was delicious, except for the duck salad which lacked crispiness and quickly became soggy. It could benefit from added texture, such as small wraps. The prices were a bit higher than expected, but the food was tasty and well-presented. We, along with other guests, asked for the air conditioning to be turned off, and our request was promptly granted. We are excited to try their Indian tasting plates, which seem to be offered annually and are highly sought after. We will have to book quickly before they sell out."

Gave up at this point. Table next to me also had a missing dish, and another family on a different table was letting staff know they weren’t getting their food either."

"In the end, we opted for breakfast since we were starving, but later that day, we found it impossible to secure a place for Christmas dinner. Consequently, we had to settle for room service at our hotel around the corner, which was incredibly disappointing. Moreover, while we were there, the staff at 11 Cadogan Gardens appeared overwhelmed with preparations for the Christmas meal. We had to ask for basic items, such as a fork; it took five minutes after our breakfast was delivered for someone to check on us. I ordered a mimosa and was served a flute of orange juice that tasted like it had no champagne in it. To my surprise, ten minutes later, I received a separate flute of champagne! Apparently, I was supposed to mix them myself, but no one communicated that to me. While breakfast was acceptable, it definitely wasn’t worth the equivalent of around $75 USD."

"It was chaos on the afternoon we visited as it was a very hot sunny Saturday, so when we finally got to order our 2 take out pitta sandwiches we were warned it would take a while. The guy on the till was very polite and friendly, apologetic for the wait and asked us to take a seat while we waited. He then followed up why we hadn’t received our food after 10 mins. No complaint at all on service, the sandwiches were lovely, fresh and worth the wait .Good variety of bottled drinks and reasonably priced."

The so called manager Gabrielle or whatever her name is was rude from start to finish we booked our table for the Fa cup final but was told he had under two hours to eat and leave and couldn't extend our stay , the waiters were clueless and didn't understand why we wanted drinks after being seated for half hour im pretty sure it's human rights to be able to order a drink in a so called restaurant , the starters were below par and questionable , the Mains we ordered weren't what we asked for and when asking the so called manager why she couldn't be bothered to answer our questions , so I'm afraid to say after visiting cafe football before I wouldn't come back even if you paid me disgusting and I will be getting in touch with trading standards as we found dirty cuttery and glasses on our table and not even a sorry from staff very little care from all at cafe football!!! "The place was nice and we was seated at our table, we had to ask for a Drinks Menu. We ordered our meals, starters and mains, the starters were nice apart from the scotch egg which had no runny egg( but was told beforehand that this was down to the bird flu) we ordered the OX cheek, 2 Wagu burgers and a fillet steak.. the ox cheek was very nice.. however the 2 wagu burgers, we wasn't even asked how we would like these before ordering and to come out and they were both burnt!.. The fillet steak was ok, but the meat had been cut in half to see if they had cooked it correct..the only reason we didn't complain is that we were receiving the food at 50%... the service wasnt the best.. TBH I dont normally write reveiws but Felt I had to on this occasion"

"We were the first table to arrive for lunch. Started well with drink and food orders then all went down hill. We ordered 4 dishes between the 4 of us. Mine and my daughters order arrived and we waited for my husbands order but it was slow coming out so we started and both were cold and bland. We had finished our food and the last dishes still hadn’t arrived. It was 10 minuets after we had finished before my husbands arrived which he said was good in their defence. After a long wait they came to clear our plates and no pudding menu was offered so eventually we asked for coffee and was told they didn’t serve coffee I haven’t come across a restaurant that doesn’t serve coffee before. There was no apology for the delay and the restaurant didn’t start to fill up until after we had finished so don’t understand why the food and service was so bad. There are lots of restaurants in London so on this performance I wouldn’t recommend going to Mole."

"A few days in Cheltenham found us visiting The Daffodil restaurant which had previously been highly recommended to us. The Daffodil is set down a side street just off Montpellier Gardens and away from the hustle and bustle of the main area and it proved we were quite fortunate to get a booking given the popularity of this place. A very smart venue with an ‘Art Deco’ feel which certainly makes this restaurant feel quite different to many other places we have dined at of late. An excellent menu and first class service makes this a place that anyone visiting Cheltenham must pay a visit. Without doubt, we would certainly head back to The Daffodil should we return to the Town. Don’t miss out."
