"I came away from this restaurant thinking that they do classic Meat and Fish dishes extremely well and with an extra twist. Their T-Bone steak was amazing and so was the catch of the day. Seems like real thought and invention was put into the side plates and they were a real joy; the chippy chips, Halloumi Fries and Peanut Butter Cornbread. I also had a few Cherry Sours which were amazing. We were sat next to the toilets and kind of felt away from the main restaurant and ambience so that's the only minor negative point for me. However the food more more than made up for it."

"Went for Beauty and The Beast afternoon tea yesterday. Utterly stunning building and the room we were sat in was decorated beautifully. The service from start to finish was lovely although we did have to flag someone down anytime we needed something as we were not approached at all for more drinks or if we wanted our scones. The sandwiches were lovely and cut perfectly if not a little bland. The chicken roll was lovely and the toastie was nice but would benefit from stronger cheese as it didn’t really taste of anything. The scones were perfect and some of the best I’ve ever eaten. The sausage rolls were amazing as were the little tart and salmon mousse. The cakes very much let it all down. The blueberry cake tasted of nothing and seemed greasy. The macaron again tasted of very little and the red food colouring stained everything it touched. The lemon cake was nice but the icing was awful and it seemed to be made from margarine rather than actual butter. The chocolate mousse was lovely if not a little strong for the children. Both the savoury and sweet biscuits were out of this world. Our biggest complaint is that 4 of us were squeezed into a small table. We really struggled for space. I couldn’t drink my tea and had to hand back my pot of tea as we simply didn’t have space for it. We felt incredibly cramped. It would of been nice to have some music in line with the themed afternoon tea playing too perhaps?"

"Overall a lovely night and great food. The Good: Some of the best fish and chips I 've ever had outside of Yorkshire; wonderful ice cream selection; cosy environment; welcoming staff; reasonably priced food; good wine list The Not So Good: There only seemed to be one drinks menu in the entire restaurant as it had to be passed around the tables (a little frustrating and time consuming ; we arrived at 8pm to find most of the menu had 'sold out '; only a set menu is available on Sundays and there is no warning of this on either the website or the booking confirmation; finally, we asked staff to book a taxi for us back to our hotel and whilst they obliged we were booked into a private chauffeur firm with a min. spend of £40 (ridiculous for a 10 minute drive! with no warning or choice on our part"

This reciew is written in both Korean and English. 포트넘 앰 메이슨 차를 사려고 방문한 곳인데 피카딜리쪽보다 확실히 사람도 적고 조용한 분위기라 편하게 쇼핑할 수 있어요. 그리고 정말 정말 직원분이 친절함!!! 부담가지도 않으면서도 자세히 설명해주고 잘 응대해주셔서 쇼핑하는 내내 매우 기분이 좋았습니다 이름을 못 물어봐서 어떤 직원분인진 모르겠지만 ㅠ 지금까지 돌아다닌 유명한 기념품 쇼핑 플레이스 중에서 그 분 응대가 제일 좋았습니다. 피카딜리쪽보다는 아무래도 관광객이 덜 와서 그런 것 같긴 해요. 차 종류는 제 기억으로는 따로 패키지에 골라서 파는 것 말고 일반 틴케이스로 파는 건 다 있습니다. 특별한 건 여기에서만 파는 royal exchange blend가 있는데 전 royal blend보다 더 맘에 들어서 그걸로 삼 ㅎㅎ 그리고 이 매장이 포트넘 앤 메이슨 매장 중에 가장 최근에 생긴 지점이라네요. 깨끗한 곳에서 비교적 차분하게 쇼핑하실 분은 추천드립니다! I went this place to buy Fortnum Mason tea for presents and this place is definitely better place to buy teas than the one in piccadilly. The staffs here are super friendly which made the whole shopping experience extremly satisfying. It is much less crowded than the piccadilly store so you can take your time. If you are not up to buy the Rare teas which are only offered in individual packaging, you would be able to find everything you want. Also you can buy in individual packaging for normal teas if you want to. It has a special blend named Royal Exchange Blend only sold in this store. I prefer this one to the original royal blend. This store is the latest built one among the Fortnum Masons so it is super clean. I highly recommend this place!!!"

"Having been a regular customer for years I wanted to leave a review to say how disappointing the new set up and menu is. We’ve always loved visiting Ginger and Pickles but the new arrangement has hardly any tables suitable for a family of four and what there is is situated far too close to other tables. We usually visit with our dog but there’s no longer any room for him to sit under the table and I don’t think it’s fair on other diners to have him forced to sit so close to their tables. This was not a problem with the old arrangement as there was a suitable distance between tables. The ‘bench’ seat making up the seating for the tables in the back room is so narrow it is uncomfortable. The new menu is smaller than the old one and some of my favourites have been removed. Some of the friendliest members of staff (Maria, for example) who I have always enjoyed chatting with are on the takeaway only side now. All round a very disappointing new set up and I don’t think we will be back."

"beautiful service and great coffee and eat! we were there on Sunday at 11 o'clock. we were in three and the service was fantastic. charlotte visited us and she was very nice and nice to chat with her about the city! we ordered coffee, but also a nice breakfast! the taste was great and the prices were excellent. it is located in the main track where a lot of options are for food, but I highly recommend this place. we were here shortly after the Coronavirus crisis and they have taken a lot of guidelines to place. great job! I will be back"

"Having had some (too many) appointments at St Mary's hospital i have been in a few times Surprised pleasantly of the atmosphere and staff In particular as an observer an elderly gentleman not used to card payments was assisted in paying with cash The poor guy dropped his newly atm'd money all over the floor and they were so so kind and respectful not knowing i or anyone else was watching I've been in a few times and really seems a good morale Nice to see with so man sour faces in hospitality these or any other days I brought my observations eventually with the manager Zac believe Impressively run business with attention to detail irrespective of previous comments on the customer relations Hope and deserve to do well"
