"Sometimes you come up against a pub that has the ‘olde world’ attitude of a hostelry that welcomes you in. This pub hit that that spot immediately. We noticed that all tables were laid, basically, for eating. However, when we stated that we just need a drink, it was no problem. We were still escorted to a comfortable table by an extremely pleasant young lady. Drink order taken which arrived very promptly. Service by all staff was so friendly. Needless to say a few drinks were imbibed and, from the menu and what was coming out of the kitchen, we will be back. Unfortunately, on this occasion, we had a dinner engagement elsewhere. Paddington Lock is a tourist attraction being near to Little Venice.so its good to know that the London friendliness is on its way back. It will certainly draw them in."
