"Booked last minute for 3 of us but early in the evening, so getting a table was no problem. The staff are friendly and the food was all really lovely. Just lost one star as there seemed to be a slight communication issue between waitress and kitchen. There was an issue with our starter that needed to go back to the kitchen, and the table in front had a similar issue with their main, that had to go back. So once that minor issue is resolved, it would be full stars, as the food was very yummy and everyone was very nice."

"i had walked past this place earlier in the evening and decided to pop in about 8.30 to give it a try. I was greeted at the door and asked if i wanted a table but i opted for a takeaway option. It was a monday evening and not very busy but the staff were attentive and service was nice and quick. I wasnt offered a drink whilst i waited but i didnt realise it was going to be as quick as it was so that was probably a good thing. I went for the grilled chicken Thai Green Curry from the chefs special option. It was a nice meal. A takeaway version may never do a restaurant full justice and i will try and revisit for a sit down meal soon"

"We choose this venue for a joint birthday party for 35 people. Two words EXCELLENT CHOICE the staff went over and above to ensure that the evening was a great success. Big thanks to chefs P'Dang and Kung...the food tasted amazing and beautifully presented especially the sculpted fruit platters. We were seated fairly quickly, but that is where the praise for Las Iguanas ends Service was extremely slow and somewhat incompetent... "We were well received and immediately taken to our table by a highly professional and personable server who looked after us very well throughout our visit. Nothing was too much trouble and we had some great laughs with him too. We ordered a variety of starters for two people and added a couple of extras on just to try them. The food was exceptional and plentiful, no complaints whatsoever. The cocktails are good, well priced and the wine list is sensible with a good choice. This place has a great vibe and everyone in the restaurant was having a good time, and importantly the staff were happy and all constantly making sure things were kept in top condition. We will most definitely be back! I wish I knew our servers name, because he deserves a shout out"

"Having never visited Portsmouth before we didn't know where to get dinner whilst visiting for my wife's work. Good ol' Trip Advisor drew this place to our attention, and boy are we glad it did! Service was friendly but attentive. Good knowledge of what was gluten free for my coeliac wife. All 4 dishes we had were outstanding. I particularly recommend the satay (perfectly cooked chicken) and the penang (such depth of flavour).. I doubt anything would disappoint to be honest. A casual but smart interior in a quirky building added to the ambience, and the prices were reasonable. Oh, and if you've got a bit of space at the end of your meal, try the triple chocolate martini you'll thank me! I'm just hoping we need to go back to Portsmouth again soon...."

"I arranged a work get together for 6 and arrived at 12:30 on a Saturday afternoon. Apart from one couple there were no other diners for lunch. We were impressed by the decor and the food was good, served promptly and reasonably priced. All good up to now. At 13:40 the table was cleared and the waiter said “Do you want anything else because we shut at 14:00” OMG! How to spoil what was an enjoyable lunch."

This was our first visit since the refurbishment and we were impressed with the new dishes on the menu. The staff and atmosphere were fantastic. There are plenty of vegetarian options available and we highly recommend trying them. The service, food, and atmosphere all receive a top score of 5. Some recommended dishes include Tempura Asparagus, Roast Duck, and North Hill Noodles. Vegetarian dishes are clearly labeled on the menu. "We booked this lovely restaurant for a pre-theatre meal, so arrived early in the evening to find that it was already very busy. We were seated promptly and then faced the challenge of trying to pick just one starter and one main from an extensive and delicious-sounding menu. Everything that we ordered was tasty and full of subtle flavours. The food was beautifully presented and hot too. Portions were generous and very reasonably priced. Service was friendly, unobtrusive and efficient. The owners clearly take great pride in their restaurant and treat customers like valued guests. We had a great time and were made to feel very welcome. This will definitely become a regular haunt for us when we're in Reading for a show. Five stars all round!"

"Been coming here for quite some time and no mater how many times I eat here, I never get bored of the menu. I've eaten at many other Thai restaurants in south east London and none have compared, food wise, as good as this place. It's quite disguising as its doesn't look like the most wowing or busiest from the outside BUT don't be mislead. There's a nice local relaxing atmosphere and the food appears very fresh! every time I've sat in there the Deliveroo cyclers are flowing in and out. Price maybe slightly above average and starters could be a bit better value for money but for authenticity and quality after my trips to Thailand, this place is the one! Highly recommend if you're in the area."
