"I decided to give this place another try after feeling unwell a few months ago from the butterscotch milkshake. Unfortunately, I had a similar, if not worse, experience this time. I tried the pistachio milkshake and became extremely ill about an hour later. I was violently sick and also had severe stomach cramps and other unpleasant symptoms. What’s concerning is that my partner, who had a different milkshake flavour, experienced the exact same symptoms. He rarely ever gets sick and has a strong stomach, usually able to handle just about anything, so this was completely out of the ordinary. Something seems seriously off. Either the milkshake machines aren’t being properly cleaned or maintained, or the ingredients being used are causing adverse reactions. Whatever the issue is, it needs to be addressed immediately. This level of sickness from a milkshake is not normal."

"I visited this restaurant with my two children, ages 6 and 10. The server who attended to us had a very cold and unfriendly demeanor. She directed us to a specific table to sit at, even though there were other empty tables available. We requested to sit at the back in order to all fit on one bench, but she coldly informed us that those seats were reserved. We ended up sitting where she directed us and waited about 10 minutes for our food to arrive. After eating, we left and noticed that the supposedly reserved seats remained empty. Overall, the customer service was lacking."

"The two employees who were present, Gemma and Alicia, were nice and friendly. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent; everything arrived quickly. However, there was another woman who came out from the back and seemed to be intimidating one of the staff members while she was talking to them. From what I could see, she appeared to be quite condescending."

"Always love going here. This time we took the children. Very covid safe and still a great atmosphere. Their waffles are simply delicious! They even let you choose ANY flavour ice cream to have on the side. My wife had a crepe, which she says is as good as the ones from french market stalls I believe that is a compliment! The boys had some scoops of ice cream, and my lord they are very generous with their portions!! We all loved it and the prices aren 't super high. Friendly helpful staff and a very clean environment. It can however, get extremely busy. Go here and enjoy dessert for dinner : can 't wait to go back!"

"Omg this place is amazing! Forget the big ice-cream chains, this is the place to go. They have a massive selection of homemade gelato ice-cream, which is the best I've ever tried to be honest and I've been to italy! Two very welcoming and friendly owners here, always smiling and chatty. I've been three times and should venture out on their lovely looking food and drinks menu but just can't stop eating their gelato! Highly recommended! 5stars all round!"

"it has an extensive menu of ice creams, cakes, cheesecakes, pancakes to waffle, small and large portions. there is also a release menu. they also take away, so if they cannot end their dessert, they can take it home. it is a small and long and as extra seat down. the beverage menu is more limited, but includes all basic and milk shakes. most of the choices include chocolate and popular choices can run out to busy times. my photo is a non-chocolate choice, and from the cookie area."

"I had a fantastic evening with my partner and family last night. We was showing to our table with a smile and felt very welcomed. Linda the lady looking after our table was such a lovely lady. She made sure we had everything we needed and checked on us to make sure all the food was good. The staff wished me a happy birthday and didn't mind we brought our own cake with us for dessert. The atmosphere was so relaxed and we had a laugh. Linda was truly amazing and we will be back again soon. We were appreciated the whole time. Keep up the amazing work and please give a huge thanks again to Linda for me."

"A lovely mid week treat after our work out we were greeted politely and seated quickly. There was a delay in ordering due to the social chat being had prior to the customer in front placing there order and for the period of time the chat continued after the order was placed. However our order was taken efficiently and they were accommodating. The puddings came and they were delicious! Mine was piping hot and melting in the mouth, my friends was lovely! No tap water Popped in for a treat and was disappointed to be told that tap water was not an option so I ended up spending £6 on three bottles of water. "I placed an order last sunday at the Sheffield London Road Rassams. It said it would be delivered at 7.04pm. At 7.30 I rang the restaurant to ask where the order was at first, they couldn't find the order and after telling me to wait they then to be told me they couldn't tell me how long and they were busy. They were extremely rude, shouting in the background. The order finally came at 8pm, well 2 items came biscoff pancake cookie dough. The cookie dough was cold and the pancakes burnt. I tried to call the restaurant about 10 times, no answer. I rang Darnall Rassams to ask what I could do, I spoke with Aziz, who couldn't have been more helpful. He tried to contact the store but couldn't reach them and apologised profusely. He asked to take my number to get them to call me back as soon as possible. They then called me back via social media whatts app which is completely unacceptable. I spoke to Salen, who was extremely rude, didn't listen to anything I said or let me explain what had happened with the order. He kept talking over me and telling me I had received the order. I explained what was missing and the items that came was burnt and the other one cold. He told me he would send the order again and they are busy so no idea how long it would be. 5 minutes later, the missing items came. The ice cream was water and the rest of the food cold. This had not been freshly made. I have yet again tried to call the restaurant back and the line is now busy. This was nearly a 30 pound order and after ordering from Rassams numerous times I find the customer service absolutely disgusting. Not only was the staff incredibly rude, they quite frankly couldn't have cared less. Salen was talking to someone else whilst trying to speak to me and it sounded like he was laughing whilst I tried to explain what had happened. I would just like to finish this with a thank you to Naziz Darnall restaurant for his help. This was supposed to be a treat for the family which has now turned into chaos as my autistic son will now not eat his ice cream as its more milk!!!!! STILL NO RESPONSE TO MY EMAIL AFTER OVER A WEEK!!!"
