"we visited the windsor every time we visited london in the last months and were never disappointed. eating and drinking is very expensive (including 2 for 1 cocktails) and the employees work very hard to get a good atmosphere....Every time we were, maisie had stood out from the crowd, she is always super busy, but serves customers to smile, whether on the bar or clearing of the table and deserves recognition for their hard work. we will definitely return!"

"Christmas Catch Up So we booked a little Christmas catch up for 15 people for Saturday 11th December. I booked online to reserve our able and book our food in advance. What was nice was that Emily also contacted me directly from the Goose just to ensure my food was ordered in advance and if I needed any more information on drinks packages etc. When we arrived we were greeted by Emily (nice touch) and shown to out pre prepared area which was lovely. The tables were set out with Christmas crackers and Santa hats and the buffet table was ready with cutlery and sauces. They asked when we wanted the food to ensure it was cooked and brought out when we wanted it and the chief (a lovely Irish lady, didn't catch her name) even popped out to make sure all was OK. For the amount of food we ordered (the silver buffet Christmas package) it was cooked nicely and warm. All the staff were absolutely lovely and really attentive (again special shout out to Emily, also to Robert) When we brought large rounds they brought them over to the table and made sure all was well. Great experience, everyone loved it. We've been visiting the pub for years, especially over the festive period and it was definitely the best experience yet"

"This unique kebab shop is located away from Chipstead Tal Street. I visited after work and decided to try the combination of lamb and chicken doner. It was delicious, especially because they freshly cut the meat right in front of me, unlike other kebab places that keep pre-cut meat in a hot container. The chips were a bit smaller than I expected and a little too salty for my taste. Overall, the food quality and service were fantastic, so I would rate it a 3.5 out of 5."

I had to check three times to make sure mine was vegan because it tasted and looked so similar to chicken—it was both a blessing and a curse. The staff was friendly, and the service was quick. There was a good selection of vegan options available, and it was great to see vegan dessert choices as well. "We had our Christmas Day dinner here we were told to sit down at 3pm at 5pm we still hadn’t had our main meal the organisation of the way meals were served was terrible. We were the very last to be served , no apology was given for the long wait probably because we complained on the length of time we were waiting. When we finally got our main course the food was awful and cold the turkey was so dry It was inedible the roast potatoes resembled cardboard. By 6pm we had our dessert.. a very thin slice of Christmas pudding!! In total 3hrs to serve a set menu was a disgrace . We definitely won’t eat here again"

"I saw good reviews on the website, but the pictures made the place look more appealing than it actually is. The atmosphere is basic pub style, and the menu was so sticky that we had to peel it apart — not a pleasant experience. I ordered a lukewarm lemonade without ice, and my meal was overcooked and drenched in a sauce that tasted like it came straight out of a microwave. It felt more like something reheated in a bag than a freshly prepared dish. We were hungry, and it filled a gap, but that’s about the best thing I can say. It wasn’t too expensive, but I wouldn’t return."

"I attended today for the first time with my family of 5 and dog. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Great atmosphere friendly locals. Very welcoming and kind especially to our dog. We came in soaking wet and they gave us a towel to dry our dog and a blankets, treats and toys.! How lovely to receive such a lovely welcome and the service was excellent we all ate 2 courses every meal was delicious and great portion sizes. Wish I lived closer I would be a regular no doubt. 100% will be back again. Thank you so much for a lovely afternoon"
