"Great fried chicken fast food joint. Visited this place whilst stopping and staying the night at a hotel in Gloucester. Looked up Halal food outlets on google and this place got my attention with its good reviews. I must say I was not let down. Waheed served me with great customer service. My order was prepared fast and the food was delicious I got a tower burger with the spicy chicken fillet and some spicy wings. I loved their spicy sauce too. It had quite a kick! My daughter enjoyed her bueno milkshake. Thanks boys!"

"Blatantly refused to serve some firefighters who I allowed to go in front of me in the queue. They obviously had to return to work and were very polite and smiley, as I wasn't in a rush I allowed them to go in front of...me and so did another person. However, even as they reached the front of the line the man refused to serve them and the firefighters were evidently very shocked at the blatant. One of the other people who worked there offered to serve them but the gaffer said that he didn't want them served. The server got quite enraged and began shouting in another language, he looked like he wanted to jump over the counter Honestly, just a little outraged at this situation, especially with all of the black lives matters movements going on and that my children saw the blatant discrimination. Didn't even really want to eat the chips knowing that the firefighters probably wouldn't be eating that night"

"Upon arrival, we found our table to be dirty and had to clean it ourselves. The person in charge of the wimpy bar was seen shouting at a staff member, causing them to walk out. After waiting about 10 minutes, we placed our order with the usual pleasant waitress. Unfortunately, we waited for 40 minutes and had to reorder when the shouting man came over to take our order. Our order was incorrect, but we didn't feel like waiting another 40 minutes to get it fixed. When we brought up the mistake to the shouting man, he was rude and insisted we pay for the incorrect order. Overall, the elderly Italian man running the restaurant was very unpleasant and we will not be returning due to his behavior."

"I came across an article in the subway that raved about this restaurant, so I decided to try it out for myself. The location is fantastic, right on the seafront with a picturesque view and the famous 'Upside down house' in sight. The service from all the staff was excellent, especially our server Diana who made us feel very welcome with her friendly smile. She was patient, knowledgeable, and helped us navigate the menu to try some new dishes. The food and drinks were fresh, delicious, and served promptly. This restaurant is the perfect spot for authentic Mexican cuisine on the Brighton coast. We tried the Oktopus Tacos and the Full Mexican Breakfast, both of which were tasty and satisfying. The freshly pressed lemonade was a refreshing choice for a hot summer day. Even though we traveled 2 hours to get there, we would definitely make the trip again. From the food to the service and the attention to detail in the interior design, this place truly lived up to the hype. I would highly recommend it, 10/10."

"I recently ordered a bag of chips at a restaurant. I was only informed AFTER I HAD PAID that there would be a wait for my order. Shouldn't they inform customers of this before they pay, so they can decide if they want to wait? Additionally, when asked if I wanted salt and vinegar on my chips, I requested only vinegar due to health reasons. However, when I got home, I found that salt had already been added without my knowledge. This lack of communication and disregard for customer preferences led me to throw away my last bag of chips from Martella's. It is disappointing that the restaurant did not own up to their mistake. I will not be returning as a customer."

"The restaurant's Tripadvisor listing has incorrect opening hours and lacks a closing time on the door. Upon arriving at 8:50pm, I inquired about the availability of three mini fish, but was informed that the restaurant was closing in 2 minutes and they could not prepare anything fresh. They only had two mini fish and one large fish left. I questioned if the large fish was full price, to which they confirmed. After stepping outside to call home and confirm with my family, I overheard the server speaking loudly about me to her colleague. Despite this, I returned inside and ordered two mini fish and chips and one large fish and chips for £24. I suggested that in the future, they should wait until the customer is out of earshot before speaking about them. Unfortunately, the food was of poor quality and I found it inedible. It would have been the right thing to do to turn me away and dispose of the remaining food. This overall experience was terrible and I do not plan on returning."

"Ordered food through Justeat and was given delivery time of 13.49 At 2.10 had call from driver to say he was on his way then a call saying he was lost. I gave him directions and even stood outside office to be visible. 8 minutes later when I call him he still maintains he is lost even though I had given him 2 landmarks. We are in the middle of the town! 30 minutes after the supposed delivery time I suggest he take the order back and delivers fresh. all I get is that he is lost and he will just taker it back. Customer service stinks. No-one at shop answers the phone"

"Bought a small portion of chips from here this evening. What a disgrace it was. The chips were all in tiny bits, not a whole chip in sight. The potatoes were going black, and the chips were hard and chewy. Clearly the chips were not fresh and had been sitting there for a long while before being served. Appalling price for disgusting chips. Will never be coming here again. Haven't been here in a couple of years so thought to give it a go however they have lost a customer."

"Needs better ketchup! That and curry sauce are the two condiments essential to a good supper. Good choice of food. See menu The staff were nice although seems they were a bit bored and grumpy , served quickly and food arrived within 10 minutes. Fish was very good. Batter crispy and light. Bottom of fish a little soggy but was ok. The sausages are really bad quality. Looked like a Richmond sausge pale and tasted horrible. Again the batter was great just couldnt eat it. It's either two small battered pale nasty ones or a large which I havnt tried. Chips were nice but they could be better. Choice of cold drinks over £2 a can. Coffee is decent. Food is a reasonable price. Small space but we were very happy sitting inside. If it was busier I think it would be uncomfortable eith the main seating area having chairs back to back so close. I realise making the best of the space. They do usualy have outside seating. In a great spot by sea front opposite family entertainment. We have been here before and it was much better so I'm not sure what's changed. Shame but I'd return for the fish and id try the larger herby sausage."

"My partner and I had a takeaway delivery from this restaurant today and I must say we were not disappointed. The food was freshly cooked, the rolls had a perfect crust, and the breakfast baguette was delicious and packed with flavor! And those cheesy chips were absolutely amazing - the cheese was so tasty.
