"Bought a small portion of chips from here this evening. What a disgrace it was. The chips were all in tiny bits, not a whole chip in sight. The potatoes were going black, and the chips were hard and chewy. Clearly the chips were not fresh and had been sitting there for a long while before being served. Appalling price for disgusting chips. Will never be coming here again. Haven't been here in a couple of years so thought to give it a go however they have lost a customer."

I had to throw away two entire orders of fries that seemed like they had been sitting around for a long time before being served. It was a really disappointing experience.

Long wait for overcooked food. However while waiting nice display of bickering and arguing staff to keep you entertained. Non existent customer service downhill since original owner’s son in charge hygiene rating of 1!!

I ordered the mini fish and chips at this restaurant. I was excited to try their large fish with small chips since I had just moved to the area. However, it ended up being the worst fish and chips I have ever had in my life.

Came into sea spray and was served by Claire, the most loveliest most polite girl. Spent my whole lunch break talking to her, most genuine lovely woman. Absolute credit to the establishment. Should be the face of the business, will defo return. Big up Claire x

Popped in yesterday for one portion of chips and one piece of chicken two separate items was asked if I wanted chips with the chicken and told her no, but the robbing so and so’s still charged me as if I’d had them together, I did tell the lady only to be told well you was asked, I’ll not be using the place again, the chips I’m sure were left overs from the day before and chicken was awful

My experience at Sea Spray on Sunday evening was extremely disappointing. We decided to grab a last minute bite to eat, but were met with two cold steak and kidney pies and dry, cold chips. The poor quality of the food was unacceptable. Paying £10 for such subpar dishes is not worth it. I will not be returning to this place and will not be recommending it to anyone. I am dissatisfied and find the experience disgraceful.
