"Lewis and Philip were outstanding and looked after us so well. All of Lewis’ recommendations were spot on and the pacing and food were brilliant. Really grateful for the detailed gluten free menu, made dining a breeze. All the extra touches were so deeply appreciated. I adore St John and was excited to take my friend for her first ever time and she is fully converted. Always have the absolute best time and I think this experience was my favourite. "Had a 2.45 reservation for Sunday lunch. Arrived to be informed that only the Lamb or Vegetarian Wellington was available as they had been extremely busy. The mains arrived and the roast potatoes were inedible. Hard on the outside and dry and floury in the middle, I would imagine they had been microwaved and the lamb was the same. Gravy was tasteless. The broccoli was cooked nicely! We were recommended this venue for Sunday lunch and drove half an hour to try it out. Disappointing."

"What a find. I paid £45 for a one night stay that included breakfast. The pub has lots of history and is located in the historic Gun quarter of Birmingham. The pub maintains the character and feel of a historic building, yet offers modern facilities and a tasty, filling breakfast at a time, tailored to you. Superb line up of beers, too. I'd love to return!"

"Hands down, my favorite restaurant in London and my kind of starred restaurant too: 1) The food: the best ingredients, beautifully cooked, simply plated, generous portions, you will be left speechless as the flavors built in your mouth 2) The vibe: easy going, absolutely informal and with a welcoming eat well feel good ambiance 3) The crew: the most knowledgeable front-house staff on top of seasonal specials, cooking methods and recommendations 4) The **** mary: a 10/10 spicy, with fresh horseradish and no silly frou-frou-frou garnishes.
