I went to this restaurant for the first time last night for a drink and was instantly impressed by the decor! I wish I could live here.

Great Place to eat our pre theatre meal being right in the theatre. Menu was short on choice. Meat would have been better with a sauce. Else great meal and attentive service.

My booking was not honoured as there was no one in the restaurant. Apparently it was decided that it would not open that evening, although I was not informed. I was very disappointed and am now unlikely to risk booking there again.

Here is the problem. I made dinner reservations for 2 evenings for pre-theater dinners. I received immediate confirmation and then confirmation 24 hours prior. We arrived to dine and turns out the restaurant was not even open on those days and times. Best get your act together, folks...very disappointing.

My wife was quite disappointed with the quality of the food. Her cheese tartlet starter was not served hot, despite her asking if it would be, and being assured that it would. The fish for her main course arrived lukewarm, looked tired, and had a greyish hue. The potatoes were hard and seemed like they were leftover from the day before, so she barely touched them. We dined before a theater performance and were welcomed with warmth and charm. The staff was consistently friendly, helpful, and professional. Despite the bustling pre-theater crowd, the service was quite good and we never felt rushed. Both the food and wine were excellent, and the cocktails were fantastic as well. It would definitely be worthwhile to experience a full evening of dining here. The restaurant’s ambiance is appealing, beautifully complementing the modern design of the building, and the views from the windows and balcony are exceptional.

Service was very good; friendly without any hint of intrusion and also quietly efficient. The steak we purchased was a little strange and lacked the edge of full flavour and the moist texture typical of a nicely cooked piece of meat. Perhaps a sauce would have helped but there was nothing. The potato and leek square had a strong and rather odd sub-flavour we could not pin down and though it did not taste too disagreeable it was a distraction. The ambience was quite good but somehow a little flat. A pleasant enough venue with nice people but nothing to make us grieve if we don't go back.

The table position was good, by a window we had not been told that seating on the balcony is on a first come first served basis, and although I had noticed an empty table outside we were not offered it. The menu was reasonable for a pre theatre meal, 5 choices of starter, 4, main, 4 pudding. It was unfortunate that I didn't like any of the starters, but my husband said his was ok. My main course was duck which was ok, but there was not a lot of sauce and what there was was very thin. My husband had chicken which he said exactly he same about but it was ok (again).
