"As a group of four adults, we visited The Frog, we had eaten here before a few years ago, and thought that we would give it another visit. First impressions were good, it was not busy and we were promptly shown to our reserved table. We were given menus and were told that they would take our drinks and food order at the table as they weren’t busy, ordinarily we would have to order at the bar. We were the only people in the restaurant and after a considerable wait they came and took our drink order, we then, after another wait, had to ask for someone to take our food order. The food can only be described as ‘heated up’ food, frozen chips and vegetables, and did not look appetising whatsoever, certainly not worth the money, and this was complimented by the slow service, I hate to think what the waiting time would be if the restaurant was busy! The restaurant looks good at first glance, the furnishings are very nice, but looking around, the room needs a good clean, cobwebs and dust around the walls and ceilings, and would benefit from a repaint, and we could hardly see the lovely view of the river through the dirty windows. Such a shame that this lovely position on the banks of the Avon has left us with the feeling that we shall not return anytime soon."
