"Have dined here once before but dined again when heading out for the evening and needing a bite to eat before the theatre Firstly unlike other restaurants who have tables booked hours later they fitted us in at short notice. Staff super helpful and friendly without being overbearing Two superb main courses of the chef’s speciality beef curry and the pie of the day. Both were presented nicely and tasted fantastic. Thank you for a lovely meal. We’ll definitely be back"

Spent 2 nights here eating. The food was excellent and the service was great. Chicken and bacon pie was superb and the Malaysian curry too.

we stopped here after a long day of sightseeing. not only is eating some of the best I have eaten on this trip, but the service is excellent. our server was friendly and made the experience unforgettable.

Having lived in Stratford for just over 3 months, most of the pub food is good. The service tends to vary between establishments, but The Old Thatched Tavern provides the best quality meals and the service is 5 star. Shame about the lack of ales on draught, but hopefully that's a temporary issue. If anyone wants a good quality meal and amazing service, go to the Tavern!
