"We arrive with Family to a friendly welcomed and our booked table was ready and waiting, all the table were socially distance. Being early, 6pmish the restaurant was not overly busy, but still had a good atmosphere. The staff were very helpful and attentive our...order was and the meals arrived in good time and was enjoyed by all 6 of us I would in particularly mention the Fish and chips, which were exceptional well cooked, being beauifully moist and tender fish served with and excellent Tarte sauce and mushy peas, The best battered fish I have ever tasted The only minus was the Lintel curry, although if was a lovely well cooked taste dish, the potion size was a little on the small side for the strapping lad who ordered it"

Booked in for a family lunch and we all had a very good time. Comfort, attention, quality of food, and value for money were all great, and without a doubt a country pub to visit again.

We met with friends for lunch. A lovely pub with a small but interesting menu. The food was very acceptable The staff were superb nothing was too much trouble to keep this eccentric elderly foursome happy. Well done girls and thank you so much

Such a lovely place with a lovely atmosphere. I booked a table for myself and my dog. When I arrived they'd picked a quiet spot by the bar and there was a bowl of water and some biscuits for my dog such a lovely...touch. All of the staff were so friendly I instantly felt relaxed. My curry was delicious and nicely presented and my sticky toffee pudding was delicious. Would definitely visit again if in the area.

yesterday we were a little disappointed at lunch when the pub was empty and we thought that might not be a good place to visit. we were so wrong, I'm sorry that I didn't ask the name of the person who served us, but she was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable about all the elements on the menu. When the food arrived, it was all hot and obviously freshly cooked, we all enjoyed it very much, we have dessert and the ice was delicious! to the time we were gone, many others had arrived, so I think we were just a little early! to summarize, we had not made a mistake to choose the red lions and will surely be back!

We couldn't fault the food, which was above standard for a dining' pub and the service was good too. We have visited the Red Lion before and it has a stunning view of Warwickshire countryside in the Summer. But in the depths of Winter, it...needs more heat in the restaurant and preferably a log fire there. Radiators seemed to be warm but ineffective and you shouldn't really have to have a cheap looking fan heater. The design is disappointing across the board with a need to replace the decoration and variety of fairly third rate pictures with a themed approach, Investment is needed to back up the food and service offer.
