"Visited today for a Sunday roast for the first time. We didn't have a booked table but we were offered a table inside, which was perfect for us. Nice interesting decor, placed needed attention like the bench ripped on left of our table. Our table was very shaky and chairs slightly dirty. Garden looked great but super busy for out liking. In was quite peaceful and pleasant. Drink menu was extensive, food menu obviously was more consistent on meat options. As vegetarian myself I felt wes restricted, I would love to see more options, just a personal opinion. We had a starters, olives and bread were divine. My meat eaters had the beef roast and they said it was she best they ever had so far, so a big compliment for the chef. I had the pasta with peas, the cauliflower baked and the chips on the side, was good. Obviously as a dessert lover I had the white chocolate ganesh and I honestly can say was amazing. Well done Service was very attentive and polite. Would definitely come back ,maybe on another day to try."

"Revisit of this place, think this is the fifth time we've had food from here but disappointed this time. Not sure of they've had a change in chef or ownership but not of the curries tasted very nice at all and they were all cold all the meat was so over cooked it was like rubber and the tikka masala was one of the worst I've ever had . Pickle Tray tasted like it was out of a cheap jar, we may eat here again but unlikely"

"We had a lovely meal here while on holiday in the area. Our favourite of the three places we tried. The service was excellent, friendly and helpful, and the food delicious. The special roast pork was superb; my other half enjoyed his steak. We sat in the garden at the back, where the tables were well spaced. Felt very comfortable with all the measures"

Thnaks oce again to the TEAM, Sally, Arabella (grandaughter , Alice and all the gang that made this such a memorable night once again :"

"GOOD FOOD TERRIBLE SERVICE I was looking for somewhere local to Wembley stadium. I had an overseas guest visiting who had tickets to a Wembley event. There were only 4 tables seated when we arrived. I had to ask could we order after 20 minutes of waiting. Whilst we were waiting for our starters another table (6 guests) were seated, orders taken and served. I chased our order. It took a total hour for our starters to arrive. Thankfully they were worth waiting for. Fresh crisp calamari, although unfortunately I was also given lemon mayonnaise despite advising I could not have any citrus. The cheesy garlic bread was also delicious. Very large portion, but you can imagine we were pretty hungry by this point. Meanwhile 2 other tables (2 guests and 10 guests) arrived and were served. I again chased our order. The table of 6 that arrived after us were served, had eaten and left before our main course arrived. The table of 2 and 10 also had their mains before us. By now were were running short of time and asked that our main course be brought as soon as possible, and not wait until we had finished our starters. That didn't happen. We had to ask again. The spaghetti bolognese was delicious, and would have been perfect with a sprinkling of parmesan, which we weren't offered. The lamb shank was not the best that I have had. The potatoes with which it was served were a little too watery, not the soft peaks that I was expecting. Although I had not been to Gusto before, the review online was positive, whilst warning about the slow service, which is why I allowed 2 hours. It took 2 1/2 hours, and that was with my questioning. It would have been far worse had I not done so. I can't imagine how bad it would be on a busy night. Perhaps that is why it was quiet on a Saturday night. When we went in I was impressed and hoped that I had found a new restaurant to regularly visit. Sadly it was my first and will be my last visit."

"Myself and my partner visited in May for his birthday celebrations. Due to having children, we don’t manage to get out an awful lot, so after hearing some good things about Homewood, I decided to book it for his birthday meal. When I made the booking, I did pop a note on there to say it was a special occasion and we were really looking forward to it. When we arrived, we walked into the main entrance and approached the main reception area. No one was there, many members of staff just walked past us without even acknowledging us (I get people are busy but just a quick “I’ll be with you in a min!” Would have been great) we had a look around and couldn’t see anyone, there was someone serving on the bar in the room next to us but the bar was busy and we got no acknowledgement from them either. 15 minutes later, a lady came out and was quite abrupt, asking us what we were there for, we explained and then she lead us to a table in what I would say was the worst spot in the restaurant. There was an air con machine behind us blasting directly onto us and we were both freezing! We mentioned it 3 times to 3 different members of staff and they did eventually turn it down. The food was ok at a push, we were kept waiting a long time before they took our order and the food then took a very long while to come out. Drinks were forgotten and it was just not the experience we were hoping for. We had planned to do 3 courses but ended up doing 2 and then paying/leaving. Really quite disappointed with the service."

"Decided to go to Christophers for the brunch we had heard that the chocolate brioche French toast was worth trying. It was yummy ! I wasn't able to finish mine but I think most people would be able to. We had coffee and tea also. We did contemplate ordering the pancakes but we were too full! It wasn't too busy at all, considering it was half term.... it was a Wednesday though so perhaps that's why. We did call ahead as we were running 5 minutes late, the staff were understanding. The service was quick and the vibe inside was quite chilled. I do think they should have a better drinks menu and offer more savoury vegetarian options for breakfast as they only had avocado on toast. Another couple left in a huff as they wanted pancakes and they were only available on the weekend menu. Maybe this is something that could be adjusted? Other than that a good experience, I would visit again!"

"Service was excellent.Wide menu choice on a Sunday, we went for the Sunday roast option and all had roast beef the meat was cooked beautifully. If you like big portions possibly won’t fill you up so would need to order some extra sides. Will definitely be going back. We have tried most restaurants in ealing this is definitely one of the best, highly recommend"

"We had a great night on Saturday, 19 of us celebrating my partners 50th. (Apologies to any of the other guests if they found us to be too loud ????). Given the size of the party we were asked to pre order, which wasn't an issue. We were meant to be a party of 20 but a last minute cancellation was no problem for them. Food was great, service was fabulous and would definitely recommend. Thank you for looking after us ????"

"I am a HUGE Cote fan have gone on a regular basis for years with friends family in Glasgow London. Most recently in December Visited last night with friends was embarrassed as I chose to eat there booked telling them it was great tasty food, great value great wines. food was bland, not great, not a lot of it they only had 3 types of gin drinks were slow to come had to be chased on 3 occasions restaurant was only at best half full, so no idea why we had to continually chase drinks that did not arrive. I really don't enjoy posting this review as previously I have always enjoyed the food had a good dining experience liked the set menu a la carte choice. It looks like maybe the cost of living crisis has hit the chef recipes/ingredients/quality have dipped significantly. None of my friends had previously been to Cote so not a great experience for them on my recommendation"

"Amazing food, great service. We were in the area to visit a family member and found this little gem! Sunday lunch was delicious and a lovely portion size. Try the Greek orange pie if you get the chance, I have never tasted anything quite like it!! We liked place so much we returned the following day. The menu has something for everyone, we had the crispy belly pork and seabass, there wasn't a crumb left! The specials board starter of tiger prawns with garlic and chorizo served with toasted olive bread were divine and the garlic mushrooms just as tasty. I can't recommend this place enough! I would recommend booking at a weekend as it gets very busy."

"a nice little bistro with a quite lively atmosphere and a friendly service at the top end of soho. The prices are in london for starter and pizzen and for the net good. there is a pre-theater menu with elements. the menu for, but even though I was told, only choose a starter and a main course probably they need to be special for it when they order, and probably the portions are smaller when they do. but I'm not sure how much smaller they could be! while my wobble soup was perfectly reasonable, the muddles and chips were my wife and I small: maybe a third or less of the part they would get at another place and probably work on a clam! After they said that, they were nice big showers and well cooked, but I expected at least twice the amount. OK-ish house red at all in all, perfectly pleasant, but I left myself hungry and I wouldn't go back if there were so many other places to try."

"We were looking for a place to grab a bite and just came across this cafe. Didn't look like much but the pizza was absolutely delicious and costed 8-10 pounds. One of the cheaper and filling places I've had food at, they even had a takeaway offer of 2 pizzas for 16 pounds. There was a nice garden patio seating at the back as well to host small parties. Only bad thing was that the water glasses smelled pretty bad."

"Really enjoyable meal celebrating my husband 's birthday. There were 2 other people dining that evening who also had a birthday, so the staff sang happy birthday 3 times. The food was lovely not over generous in size, but perfectly acceptable and delicious and nicely presented. The scallops with pureed corn were amazing. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The only slight downside was that we had chosen a table in the corner, opposite the door and oh my, how many people go in and out and DON 'T SHUT THE DOOR! Perhaps a stronger door closer would be appreciated but will definitely sit elsewhere next time. Overall, a really lovely meal and we will definitely be back."
