"I made a reservation two weeks in advance for Mother's Day and went with a picky eater who wanted to see the menu beforehand. When I called to inquire about the menu, I was assured that there was no special menu and what was shown on the website was correct. However, upon arrival, we were given a special menu with no vegetarian options and all items were double the price of the regular menu. The food was good once it arrived, but the service was terrible. We were seated in a separate room and waited 20 minutes for a menu, which I had to seek out from the waitress. We finally received menus for 4 people, but no drinks menu. After another long wait, I had to locate the waitress again to inquire about wine options. The service continued to be slow and disorganized throughout the meal. When we were ready to pay, there was no one available to assist until I approached the kitchen. The waitress seemed distracted and took a long time to process the bill. If it weren't for my elderly mother, I would have left earlier. Despite the good quality of the food, I would not return or recommend this restaurant until their service improves significantly. If you're looking for a place to simply grab a drink at the bar, this might be a better option."

"Brought my young teens as Italian is always a good choice. Very rustic inside. Food came quickly and was really tasty. Pizza base was excellent. Only disappointment was that they didn’t do ice creams which the children wanted, so didn’t stay for dessert. Reasonably priced..."

"Pizzas were excellent. Arrived quickly. Service friendly. Kids loved designing their own. (No kids size but our 10 year old ate a whole one on her own and said it was the best pizza ever! On the downside a couple of the soda flavours were out. It was very quiet at 6pm on a Saturday and as a result lacked any atmosphere."

"I love the pizzas from Pizzafaces; they offer fantastic vegan options. They are always willing to substitute regular cheese for vegan cheese on any pizza, and they also have a dedicated section for vegan pizzas. "Italian restaurants have a great choice to draw, but sometimes the diner just wants to try a basic old favorite. the pizza had an impenetrable rubber-like basic, was crushed and tasted in unbearable elastic cheese, as if it had cost a week on a warm shelf to increase the impression of decaying meat. but my gast liked it! he must have made those with fresh ingredients that were suitable for making pizza and carefully joined together. that's just the luck of the draw. if they're lucky, they'll go to lunch. are they ready to meet their makers. the best was that the waiter on the idea that coffee could be nice with cream in it. at least he showed a feeling of having standards and was happy to make his feelings known. that is a good thing in this time age of the shallow kindness. well done mr. grumpy."

"Wine was good, but the food was not great. We had burata to start, was okay but not outstanding. Then we moved on to tappas, had the one with paella. That was huge dissapointment: paella was literally burnt (not nice and crusty and brown, but burnt and black, like a moonles night). In addition, it was incredibly salty and almost non edible. We also ordered a turbot, which was totally flavourless. It seems that chef put all the salt in paella and no salt (or anything else) for the fish. It was totally not worth it foodwise as the paella was 15 pounds and fish was around 18 and both dishes really really fell short on delivering. Would certainly not recommend for food, but interior is nice so its a reasonable place I guess to pop by for a glass of wine."

"Upon our arrival, we found that although the lights were on, the door was closed. Our reservation was for 7:30 pm on a Thursday evening. Despite hearing the telephone ring inside, no one answered when we called the restaurant. Unfortunately, we had to leave and find another place to dine, as this was a special occasion for us. It is disappointing that this restaurant is listed on OpenTable when they are not available for service."
