"Wine was good, but the food was not great. We had burata to start, was okay but not outstanding. Then we moved on to tappas, had the one with paella. That was huge dissapointment: paella was literally burnt (not nice and crusty and brown, but burnt and black, like a moonles night). In addition, it was incredibly salty and almost non edible. We also ordered a turbot, which was totally flavourless. It seems that chef put all the salt in paella and no salt (or anything else) for the fish. It was totally not worth it foodwise as the paella was 15 pounds and fish was around 18 and both dishes really really fell short on delivering. Would certainly not recommend for food, but interior is nice so its a reasonable place I guess to pop by for a glass of wine."

Gorgeous venue with really good music! Food was very good too. Possibly a little OTT on the dishes they use and the food presentation for Pimlico but honestly really great place!

Omar's Place is now my top choice restaurant in London! The food and wine are exceptional, the service is delightful, and the interior is absolutely stunning. It has become a regular spot for me and I would highly recommend it to a friend. It truly is a hidden gem.

The food was delicious, but the portion sizes were very small, almost like children's portions. The dishes were also quite pricey for the amount of food you receive. For example, a side of broccoli cost £5 and only had 4 tiny stems. This was completely unacceptable.

Booked a table for 2 last night for a business dinner. Arrived there on time, just read on the door that the restaurant was closed due to a flood... at no point anyone called me to let me know... and i was left to improvise dinner elsewhere with my client. Not happy, will not even try to book again ! Very poor client ethics...

I booked a table for me and my friends last Friday, as I heard that Omar's place is a must. Due to the strong rain, the restaurant was closed. The thing is that nobody let us know, so we came to find out about ourselves. I would really be happy if someone let the customers know in advance with reservations under such circumstances.

The restaurant has a beautiful decor and very friendly staff, although they can be a bit pushy about drinks. The food is delicious and presented beautifully. There is no menu on their website, which may be temporary. The elegant decor is not reflected on their website, which shows images from a different venue. The G&Ts were brought as doubles without asking, which some may find cheeky. Overall, it was an enjoyable evening, although not cheap. I recommend it for a special date or business lunch/dinner when someone else is paying. Just be aware that it is not a budget-friendly option.
