"Wahaca serves tasty food at a decent price which means it is the kind of restaurant you can order a number of items and share across the table. This makes Wahaca a good place to go for group meals or for casual gatherings. The decor is attractive and original and adds to the fun ambiance of the restaurant. It really does feel like you've been transported into a Mexican marketplace serving stunning Mexican street food."

"All 4 dishes were stunning. The scallops were so sweet and enhanced by the delicate sauce. The prawns were succulent and meaty and the salmon was moist and fragrant from the beautiful blend of exotic spices. Gomezadams is not a fan of salmon so I sat there, like a cat in a fishmonger, hoping to snatch his salmon. Alas, he ate the whole thing with delight, much to my chagrin. My favourite dish was the soft shell crabs! Sweet but spicy, soft but crunchy!"

"We ordered the Beetroot Carpaccio with feta, spinach, and walnuts, and requested it as a main course, which was accommodated without any issues. However, we were disappointed with the dish when it arrived at our table. It was lacking in flavor and had grated carrot, which was not listed on the menu. The feta and walnuts were barely noticeable, and the dish seemed to be mostly comprised of spinach, beetroot, and carrot - possibly cheaper ingredients. We were expecting chunks of feta and walnuts to add some more depth to the dish, but unfortunately, it fell flat and was underwhelming. My own dish was good, but it was missing sautéed potatoes. Overall, the experience was dampened by the disappointing dish. Additionally, we were charged for a small bottle of water, while other diners received a complimentary jug. It was our first time at the restaurant, so maybe we were just unlucky that night. On a positive note, the staff were fantastic, and the restaurant had a beautiful layout."

"Wow, what an amazing experience we had this evening. We where greeted with a friendly and polite waiter and even the owner came to introduce himself. The service is 5*, we didn't wait long to be served with a selection of drinks and fine wines and then on to our table. Whilst at the table the waiter pulled out chairs and seated us with our napkins on our laps what an amazing experience this was. Now on to the food, it was absolutely delicious, it was freshly prepared and served hot. the curry was amazing nice and full of flavour, Peshawari naan was tasty and generous in size. Even the own catered for my 3 year old child as she's a fussy eater with the classic chips and nuggets. Overall this restaurant is amazing, friendly and polite staff with a very professional owner. Suitable for all occasions. 5* service and great quality food l. I will definitely be returning."

"Pros: comfortable, chique, with a variety of dishes and good ingredients, La Maison offers an intimate and pleasant ambience and excellent food. I had a beautiful rich burrito with artichokes and tomatoes to begin followed by a crunchy duck breast, both good with wine and with corresponding secondary dishes. For dessert I had an impressively light and delicious caramel tea with chantilly cream. Coffee: Unfortunately, coffee was not a bit hard with the rest of the evening, undermining the bitter taste of a dark roast with a mild acidic aftertaste and with a somewhat excessive rest of the soil. It was otherwise creamy and pleasant to drink at the moment."

"fake indian pathetic restaurant that is not an Indian restaurant. all are fake bangladesch arrogante types. they are so rude to talk to customers that the first impression to have food is lost. they do not show any respect to the customers who enter. they cannot sit on their own faust on the choice of the original table, whatever they decide to sit hva only there. during the order they have so many conditions that each person must book a full meal, even if they do not have so much appetit. they will open their ass before british or English sides and can strip naked on their demand while serving others who feel them as they were accepted. I was on this site and at both times I felt that this is not the place for which I should choose. I will never think of them that their business in the name india."

"Lamb Balti?. Having read a number of positive reviews about this place I decided to give it a try. I have to agree with some of the other comments that it is a little overrated, the poppadoms were stale and the starter of chicken Pakoda fritters were soggy instead of crispy. A friend of mine who loves a good Balti was very disappointed going so far as to say he couldn't recognise it as a balti. I opted for the Nepalese mixed masala and again this was very bland. Overall I don't think I will be going to this Indian restaurant again there are numerous choices in the Manchester area and I think my money would be better spent trying alternatives."

"I Visited here on valentine’s day with a couple of my girlfriends, after wanting to come here for soooo long and always hearing about it. Before attending I read a number of reviews and saw that one of the things that brought this restaurant down was their service and I can say this is very true. Firstly the waitress got my drinks order wrong and it took them a while to replace it even though my friends were on their second cocktails. Secondly me and my friend ordered the same thing. My friend with sweet potato fries and I ordered normal fries. Both came with sweet potato fries. I immediately told the waiter that I ordered normal chips and he said he’ll bring them right out. He never did and I never saw him again. To be fair I think he worked in the kitchen and isn’t really on the front scene. Our main waiter looked extremely tired and over worked. If he could fall asleep on the spot he would’ve. You can tell these waiters/waitresses work very long hours. On a positive note the food and atmosphere was amazing. They had a dj (wasn’t too sure if it was due to the occasion) but that was a bonus. On a whole this restaurant has potential but the service lets it down tremendously. Saying that though I would visit here again."

"My first visit so I didn’t know that it was no easily accessible to those with mobility difficulties. I went with an elderly relative who relies on a stick to move around so the steps down to the restaurant was definitely a problem. Out of a wish to not disappoint, she slowly made her way down the stairs refusing to think about how she would leave. Staff was friendly and the restaurant wasn’t very busy. The food was tasty and we didn’t feel rushed. Will go again and recommend to others but wouldn’t recommend to those with a mobility difficulties."

"Visited with my husband and son. All three of us had different meals and all without exception including starters were very good (to excellent). Waiters were very attentive and the service was very efficient. It is also fairly obvious that cleanliness is important to them, something that rates highly in my books..."

"I used to be a regular customer of this restaurant but have recently developed some allergies. If you have any dietary requirements this is not the restaurant for you! God forbid if you have a nut allergy or want to ask if they have any gluten free dishes, they do not want to know! Their customer services was not great and they didn’t seem to have any interest or care in listening to any allergies which you may have to accommodate your requirements. If they cannot accommodate your requirements that’s fair enough, but there is a way in which you convey this message to your customers! Will not be ordering from this restuarant again! #Disappointed #Allergies #NoCustomerService #NoLoyalty"

"update 31/1/18: I was now in the actual restaurant, which is a beautiful modern room. eating was great as always, service a touch strange as the server was just very quiet. we had several times from the yak and yeti (they supply further when they call the restaurant as if they try to order on hungryhouse). they have arranged a whole vegan menu section with over 20 and so far we have tried about 10 and have not been disappointed by any. all dishes are very cheap at around £6.95 for a curry dishes and the vegan special roasted rice and mushroom rice are excellent. with a vegan section to make it so easy, we don't try to get curry anywhere else! only to note that if we order, they often send a few free poppadome and I think the generic green dip that they send with it is (not-vegan) yogurt. updated from previous review to 2017-11-15"

"Service was absolutely appalling, Manager (Asian man) has no customer service skills and doesn’t know what customer satisfaction is. made me pay for butter chicken. The curry was changed 3 times but was still extremely salty. When we told him this he denied it was salty, and he told us that he can’t take it off the bill even though the curry was not touched all three times. He was very rude in his approach, I was embarrassed by the experience and the service I received. As a manager he could have suggested another alternative to make the situation better and make his customer happy but he did not. My daughter broke out in a rash immediately after the butter chicken I mentioned this to the staff however they didn’t seem to care. It was raining and the staff seemed like they did not want to come out to the dome, kept taking our order in a hurry. Lamb biryani was little salty but edible. Extremely dissatisfied by the service and the attitude from the manager."

"a stop before I hit the Trafford center, decided to hit an old swarm, in these days I float and go rusholme chippy, but tied some thunder, so we are here ps chef man is right sound meat / flesh thunder: it is the light red type, but has a similar texture like masas, can appear dry but I think it is because it is. I order a little moistness there, but not the wine that is drowned in the sauce to cover the taste. tasty, but had better chicken tikka: really tasty level of flavor and taste and well cooked with something sharp, nice 8/10 brot fresh made by Chef-Manns assistent, but it was a bit thin and had not carved fluffy bags, all in all was a little small, but still nice. very nice sauces: chilli sauce was very potent as I like it, but it didn't have much taste with the heat to go yogurt sauce was nice, but a bit runny in consistency sort that out and they are on a winner 8/10 worth 7.90 with a dose rubicon seemed steep tbh, should be a 5 6 quid effort 7/10 eatable again because the yogurt sauce but sort them that yogurt sauce from boss mann 8/10 total value 38/50 is decent, I'm just stingy with the not worth hitting and much better than some of the other places around"

"Pure Indian Cooking delivers a contemporary, modern and innovative take on Indian cooking and cuisine. A welcoming environment in which to tantalise your taste buds with an eye catching menu offering a broad variety of dishes at a medium spice level designed to appeal to all tastes. Spacious yet ambient in its restaurant offering; the first thing you notice is the use of colours and textures in their decor. Coupled with the delectable aromas and friendly staff you settle in easily. The use of different textures is also apparent in the dishes that are prepared in the kitchen. We started with the papad, crudités and chutneys before moving on to a trio of starters including the crispy chilli fried squid, pounded coriander and goat's cheese samosa served with a trio of tomato, mint and beetroot chutneys and patra chaat. The patra chaat is a revelation; a crispy, multi textured salad of colocasia leaves with yoghurt, date and tamarind chutney, pomegranate, onion and tomato. It is a real dazzle to the senses and should be ordered just to try something special. The chilli squid is delicious and the generous portion size is appreciated as they are so moreish. The samosas are a mouthwatering feat; crispy pastry and delicious filing served with chutneys that elevate and bind together these flavours. Moving on to the main course we knew a treat lay ahead; the main courses offered included game meats such as duck and venison. Additionally, there are lamb, chicken, vegetarian and seafood prawns, crab, halibut and cod dishes. We indulged (there is no other way to describe it! in halibut cafreal, halibut cooked in green masala served with fried potato managalorean chicken, succulent pieces of chicken cooked with coconut and byadgi chillies and lamb sukke maharastrian style lamb cooked in dry spices which is one of Pure's more spicy dishes. Accompanied by lasooni palak creamy spinach with brown garlic and dry fenugreek leaves, steamed rice and the lightest buttery naan. The mangalorean chicken is simply delicious with the softest, juiciest chicken smothered in a perfectly balanced creamy yet rich coconut sauce. The lamb is rich and flavoursome with just the right amount of heat to be a complement to the chicken. The Lasooni palak proved to be some of the creamiest spinach I have ever tried and is definitely worth an order! Pure Indian Cooking is a fresh take on Indian food that is enticing, interesting and a breath of fresh air. This restaurant, a mere stone's throw away from Parsons Green's station offers you a restaurant and a take away option that is a welcome treat for every day of the week."

"My partner and I were looking for an Indian meal somewhere a bit quieter and stumbled across this restaurant-the interior is supposed to look like the inside of a ship, however the decor really does need updating to move with the times. Food wise it was tasty-the menu was simplified compared to the pages you get in other indian restaurants, I had chicken tikka Bombay aloo and pilau rice, the food was quite rich and creamy-it tasted nice but definitely not the place to go if you are looking for a light meal. I would come back again but the decor definitely needs modernising."

"So I’ve been here a couple times but the service is HORRENDOUS. The only reason why I’ve come back is because the food isn’t too bad.One visit a friend got the Grilled Lamb starter and it was only TWO sticks of meat for just under £5. Luckily she said they were good. The first two times I’ve been the lady at reception somehow didn’t understand I’m lactose intolerant as I mentioned it just in case there is any sign of dairy. This took about five minutes to explain, along with the fact that I don’t eat meat. Then the third time I’ve been I went to pay with my card and the (from what I’m assume) owner refused to take my card payment as it was under £10. I went on to explain that the lady has taken my card countless times in the past. He then proceeded to moan about how bad his employee is, showing me card receipts of payments he didn’t authorise. Not only did this make me uncomfortable but it also isn’t my place to be told these thkngs. I just want my food, a friendly face and to go enjoy it."

"I would rate this place a 5 out of 5. I ordered the lamb vindaloo with garlic naan and was impressed by the freshly made naan bursting with flavor."
