"Well you asked ……. So despite a booking for 1pm given with deposits and a pre order for a festive menu We arrived early for drinks and told that the booking was for 11.30 ? by Adrian and that he had bought staff in early to cater for us we explained it was definitely a 1pm meal we had asked for. By 1.20 starters arrived but orders were awry and no toasted bread with the terrine (which was gorgeous) It was 2pm before the mains arrived but two customers were then informed their meals had been dropped (accidents can happen) however when their Salmon meals arrived 20 minutes later it was a quite underwhelming meal served. Lumpy Sauce no roasted carrots and a small portion of salmon and a small portion of beans no check back was given on the meal to ask why. Desserts was served but no spoons for one table and when requested again Adrian told us to collect them from another table. Finally it was discovered we were a dessert light and despite asking for it again was told another diner had accepted the missing dessert. So we just said OK we would forget and the bill would be altered. Sorry to report the mince pie size was minuscule with the size of the cream it was served with. Must say folks that had the Turkey Dinner (majority) had great reviews on their food and portion sizes. The two female waiting staff were brilliant and we could tell it had seemed like a lunchtime which had caused problems however the rest of the pub was not busy and they did their very best. This was a once a year Festive affair for 20 folks which I’m sorry to say was spoilt by poor Customer Service and Food/Menu problems which could have been resolved on the day by Adrian just talking to us in an acceptable manner instead he really caused an atmosphere."

"than a review this is a feedback to the management regarding their policy for takeaways. Last Saturday I visited the pub to order a Burger for a takeaway. The first thing that I was told by the gentleman at the bar counter was that...they are very busy and it will take minutes for any takeaway. I said that I am ok with that and I can come back and collect it. To this , I was told that I will have to be allocated a table. I said that's ok. You can allocate a table but I will collect the food from the counter. The gentleman said that's not possible. I was not able to understand what the issue was. So I told him again that you can allot a table but I do not want to wait around for minutes, so i can come back and collect it from the counter. There was another gentleman who was listening in and told his colleague to allocate the table in front of the bar but he also said the same thing, that I can only pick up the food at the table and if I don't come back on time ,they don't want the food to lie there and get cold. I once again told him that I am going to be around the area and that I live just minutes away from the pub and finally they agreed. But in the end the burger that I wanted was not available so I ended up not buying anything from there. I would really like to understand the rationale behind this policy of having to be alloted a table for a takeaway. Wouldn't the management rather allocate that table to some one else who may order in and have a few drinks than to someone who is not going to order anything else other than wait for his takeaway. The pub is really nice but the service levels can definitely improve."

"We go to this pub a lot, mainly for a drink and the occasional meal. Today we went for Sunday lunch, something we rarely go out for. It was fab. The vegetables, especially were really well cooked, just right. The meat, I had pork and my husband had turkey, was juicy and tasty. For the price, less than a tenner each it was fantastic. The drinks are always good, plenty real ale at a very good price and the house wine are great. And, you cannot fault the friendliness of the staff. Helen, the barnaid/server is just great."

"Been going here for a rew years and our most recent visit was possibly the worst of the lot. Noise The decor is minimal on the floor and walls so acoustics totally screwed. Just a wall of noise with each table competing to be heard over the next one. Space if you sit in the middle of the restaurant you are simply pinned in. No room to move/ change seating position, just pinned in for the duration of the meal. Price I am happy to pay that little bit extra for above average menu items. The food served is ok, but the prices are inflated and really not justified. The beers are just short of 8.00 per bottle, what the mark up is anyone’s guess but the consumer ain’t the winner! Overall the Mango Lounge has lost its way and its pricing strategy (making too much profit at the cost of not really valuing custom) But this is Windsor and there appears to be no evidence of a credit crunch so you can get away with murder!"

"Terrible. I never really write reviews. I go for a Curry every Friday and have been to many places in London. This place is the worst I i have ever been too. The samosas were dreadful and clearly out a freezer. The lamb vindaloo tasted like someone had got some chillies, scrapped some tomatoo puree of a homemade pizza and shoved some chicken in. The rest of the dishes were equally as bad and i could go on. The prices were a complete rip off . The waiters were extremely unfriendly and their attitude clearly mirrors the standard of the food. There are hundreds of far better places in London where you can get a cheaper meal. Truly Indian is an ananthema to the cuisine of the subcontinent!!"

"Went for my sister’s bday. Had a great time. Only few things is that they don’t give tap water and charge a lot for a small bottle of water. They don’t accept card payment. It must be cash for now because they haven’t installed the card payment machine, there is an atm right outside the lounge. The food was too tasty and will be back again to have it again. The Mocktails are so good and generally it was a nice vibe and great ambience. The staff were really attentive and made my sisters day really lovely."

"As a previous mystery shopper. the Food was awful the meat was cheap tasted a lot like fire pit tescos burgers.Then frys you have to buy separately? Comes out in a mug size portion but your charged an arm for it. Alot of money for cheap burgers! The place has a great atmosphere how ever save your money and go to burger King or five guys or bills any where but here. Save your money. Don't be fooled by the photoshoped pictures. "The staff and service were really great BUT unfortunately the food was not. The coated prawn starter was sad to say the least, the prawn substance was no more than 5 mm long. THE FISH CHIPS WAS BAD. YOU NO LONGER HAVE COD. Instead it was flat, all skin batter ONE STAFF CALLED IT HADDOCK, ANOTHER CALLER IT POLLOCK WHICH I BELIEVE BUT IN ANY CASE IT WAS DISGUSTING. I do not send food back to the kitchen for obvious unspeakable things that kitchen staff have been known to do to it. "If you want authentic Indian experience in Cardiff, this is your mecca! The dishes actually have an Indian origin unlike most of the other Indian Cuisine' restaurants. They also have the actual Indian beer Kingfisher'. This mains and sides are exquisite and you wont be able to get it anywhere else. The service is up to the mark. "We arrived for a family birthday and were seated and had a drinks order taken. Myself and another one of the party ordered a blackberry gin with lemonade, the waitress then came back to inform us that they had no blackberry gin left so offered us black cherry which we were happy to have, they were then brought to us for us to discover they had used tonic as the mixer instead of lemonade, annoying but not worth making a fuss. We then ordered food, with one of the party being vegan, she opted for the vegan nachos to start and the vegan Cajun burger. The waitress then came back to inform us that there was no vegan cheese so would she want it without which she accepted. Our starters came after a wait but were enjoyable, we then had our mains which were a completely different story. Our veggie Cajun burgers were black and burnt, had dry buns and had very hard chunks throughout inedible. There was also no vegan slaw as listed and the portion size of the chips was poor. We didn’t get a table check and had to grab the attention of a waiter to inform him that we weren’t able to eat them, he was polite and apologetic and took them back to the kitchen but we weren’t offered anything else to eat. Another member of the party had the breakfast burger with the most rubbery fried egg, definitely left and reheated. As he made it to the kitchen we overheard the waitresses asking him if we wanted desserts repeatedly, feeling very much like they wanted us gone ASAP as they were all focused on cleaning up instead of attending to tables. When they brought us the desert menu we all found something we’d like, but again no one checked on us for a good 15 20 minutes, by which point we just wanted to go. Strange considering how eager they sounded to get us out of the door. We asked for the bill, with the Cajun burgers thankfully taken off, but still an expensive meal considering the poor experience. Incredibly dissatisfied with both the food and the service and we will definitely not be returning."

"Came to bengal spice for the first time and thought the restaurant looked nice and cosy. Bringing your own drinks was a nice touch to keep the cost down too. Unfortunately after eating the food we had the worst tummy pain from it , messed our sleep up because the food was definitely not right. I think it was something to do with the sauce. Tasted good but this wasn’t something I experienced in a long time"

"Indian theme Resturant located next to temple in Wembley. I was impressed with their wraps around Harrow and Wembley , as per my experience they serve good quality and portioned wraps with Masala chips. Try their Cottage cheese wraps for £4.99 , it's fresh and made with fresh tandoori naan. The owners has planned and well executed theme of the Resturant as authentic to Indian Bollywood. They have also imported Royal Enfield bike and kept at display in the entrance which is impressive. The service is great and they follow the protocol for Covid. They have limited parking in front of the Resturant. Overall good experience so far."

"I have been a fan of this restaurant for over a decade since I first discovered it. Located in the heart of London, it is easy to find and close to our hotel. The area feels safe even at night, with many pubs and people around. The restaurant has a street-level dining area for those with mobility issues, as well as a smaller back room and a downstairs area for larger groups. The food is top-notch and reasonably priced for central London. The staff have always been friendly and accommodating, which is why we always choose to dine here when in London for the night."

"We set out to go to a favourite Indian, but we couldn't get in. One of our group suggested the Indus in Attercliffe. I'm so glad we did, the food was amazing, really tasty and fresh, we all ordered different and there was none of that generic curry going on here. Each dish was so different, mine was delicious and we all said the same about our food. The staff were friendly and quite funny, we had a great time. It was starting to get busy when we left, no wonder, this little gem is definitely a place we'll be going back to and recommending."

"We came for lunch on a Sunday quite early and ordered one Chicken Shawarma, x 4 Sweet Potato Fries, Cookie Dough Bonanza and Kunefe. 5mins later the waiter says don't have any of the desserts we asked for or the Chicken Shawarma so we said we'll take 4 drinks and fries, another 5mins later a different waitress came to inform us they didn't have any sweet potato fries, eventually we cancelled all the food as they couldn't give us what we originally came for to order. We drank our drinks in an empty restaurant (I wonder why) and the floors were sticky on the way to the restroom. This place used to be great hence why we came today only be let down by the low standards that have befallen this place. They could of got the sweet potato fries from Home Bargain next door, it would be understanable if it was near closing time. Did the cook not inform the waiter/waitresses what wasn't available to order beforehand? Just made them look clueless"

For years now we have reduced our frequency to the bulls head for breakfast as the coffee is weak or non existent , you can't send it back as its the machine or the...coffee pods themselves that is unfit for purpose. Invest in a new machine or coffee supplier, and your morning trade will increase."
